Lake Champlain Tiny House on Wooded Property with Private Beach/Lake Access
Looking for a lakeside get-away this summer or during the beautiful Vermont autumn? Welcome to our comfortable and well-appointed tiny house on ten wooded acres and a private shale beach on Lake Champlain with easy water access for swimming, kayaking, and evening campfires in front of radiant sunsets. Kayaks, a stand up paddle board, and life vests are available for your use. Simple paths to an overlook over the lake, a hammock, swing, and Adirondack chairs from which you can watch eagles and osprey fly by or listen to fish jump. A wonderful spot to relax and connect with nature -- also, a great place for working remotely with fiber optic wifi. The tiny house has two bedroom lofts, each with a comfortable queen bed, one accessible by step ladder and the other by regular stairs. It has a full kitchen (oven, gas stove stop, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster) for all your cooking needs and a full bath with washer/dryer combo. Close to Vergennes, Middlebury, and Burlington.
Clean, modern, and comfortable tiny home. Very private lot. The host provided all the essentials, from beach towels, to pool towels, to seasoning, food storage, etc. The things I forgot, the host provided. So many thoughtful touches, including local information, that made our stay wonderful. We stopped at Shaws on our way in but Vergennes was close by and we recommend going if you want to grab a quick bite or go out for an ice cream. Beautiful farm country and scenic mountain views. Only recommendation would be to bring water shoes because of the rocky bottom of the lake. Don't let it deter you though! The kids went swimming and we all had a great kayak/paddleboard ride and saw eagles and osprey and SO MANY fish jumping from the water. It was magic! There was even a swing and hammocks for the whole family. We loved our stay. Perfect for a family of all ages. We had a wonderful trip and we will be back!
We loved everything about our stay. We couldnât believe how private it was It was perfect for our anniversary getaway. The beach was amazing to watch the sunset and enjoy a fire after a long day of hiking and exploring. We will most definitely be back to enjoy this beautiful property in the fall! Do yourself a favor and book it now!
A wonderful tiny house, if youâre looking for getting away from the world. Great location for tranquility and quiet retreat. Owner was wonderfully responsive. A small hiccup with a new electric stove, but otherwise really enjoyed our stay.
My husband and I absolutely LOVED staying here! the house is adorable and we loved the privacy. The access to the lake was another awesome perk! 10/10 stay and will absolutely be back!
If you are needing a place to unwind, connect with nature, slow down and embrace picturesque landscapes and a friendly nearby town- this is the spot for you!
We arrived late in the evening and had some questions for the host and immediately received answers and a personal visit. The property was in pristine condition and for a tiny home we found everything very well organized to maximize space and traffic flow easily to do all we needed. It was equipped with more things than expected -every possible need anticipated!
The area was incredibly safe and we enjoyed the deer, birds and squirrels that visited us daily. The views from the hammocks and Fire pit area of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks were gorgeous and relaxing.
The Vermonters nearby and throughout the state were so friendly and welcoming and as down to earth as youâll ever want to meet. They were wonderfully kind and interested in us and enjoyed sharing some hot spots and places to eat.
We spent our week one week before peak season in the Fall. The beauty of the changing leaves are just as you see on those wonderful postcards. It is truly a breathtaking space and the short pathway walk to Lake Champlain is convenient for a chill out campfire in the evenings while listening to the ripples of the water and all of nature.
Book this gem. You wonât regret a single moment!
Thanks again for a wonderful respite and some time to recoup and catch our breath dear Nathalie, Becky and Ray!
What a beautiful tiny home and property! It feels so secluded and intimate, but only a short drive from groceries or restaurants. It was the perfect anniversary trip for my wife and I.
My wife and I spent three days in the Tiny House in Addison and had a wonderful time. What a fascinating place! Excellent cleanliness and provisions. Waking up in the woods was great. We want one for our back yard.
This house was just as described and had everything we could have needed. Lovely lake area as well. Host was very prompt and responsive.
We enjoyed this house!
Donât even think about it, if this place is available for the dates youâre interested in, just book it! My husband and I came for the week while our kids were away at camp. The spot on the lake is perfection, the tiny house is adorable and very well thought out, communication with the host couldnât be betterâŠwe loved our stay! If youâre looking for quiet and solitude in a gorgeous setting, this is the place for you! We canât wait to return, and we hope to bring our kids us next time!
Really fun time with grandkids at this property. House super clean, with everything we needed. Pebble beach and path through woods really well maintained.
Very glad we chose this beautiful spot. We enjoyed kayaking and after dinner having a nice fire by the water to watch the sun set. The bonus was waking up to a deer and her fawn one day and a turkey another. Took a day to tour the little town of Vergennes which I would recommend. Also enjoyed visiting Fort Henry and learning about the history of the area and how Lake Champlain played a part. It was a great week and such a relaxing getaway for sure.
Stayed here for our honeymoon. Home was super clean and well appointed. We had a great time kayaking and hiking the local trails. Great communication with host and really loved staying here! Thank you Kim and Chris
We really enjoyed a nice relaxing stay here. It was a great week of quiet mixed with easy access to towns to be able to go and do. Gorgeous property as well.
The house was the perfect size for my husband and I; small and cozy but with all the amenities and lots of windows so it didn't feel claustrophobic! It was so clean and felt welcoming. The firepit by the lake was the best! We hiked Snake Mountain, went to Hogback Mountain Brewing in Bristol and Addison Four Corners Store. We grilled at the house one night too. Even though it rained a lot, we fit everything in except kayaking...but in mid October I guess that's to be expected!
What a treat staying at the Vergennes tiny house was! I wondered if it would truly be on the lake, and it absolutely was! Just steps down a quaintly lit, mulched path was the amazing Lake Champlain, with the most incredible mountain views and the most beautiful black, flat stones that lined the gentle shoreline. The property was exactly as pictured, beautiful, clean, modern and had everything we needed, my only regret is the lack of a canoe, two kayaks would have gotten me too wet for the fall weather and not offered a shared experience with my mate, a canoe ride with him would have been awesome. That's truly the only con! Privacy was not an issue, we had the area all to ourselves! Although it was secluded, we definitely felt safe! The bed was extremely comfortable, the pros of a great matress! And having our meals with a full view to the woods/lake was wonderful! Becky answered us right away and was quite pleasant and very easy to communicate with! There were mums & a pumkin set on the porch, VT truffles & a welcome note...all wonderful touches, for a lovely welcome. The lake was warm, the weather was perfect...nothing better than a lakeside fire every night! The water pressure and temperature in the shower were AWESOME! nice and hot, extremely clean and oversized too! We needed a break to recharge and this was perfect! The general store about 3 miles away had everything we needed and great made to order food choices. We had a scenic drive to UVM
We had a very comfortable and relaxing time in between our visits to Middlebury to see our grandchild. We liked the experience of living in a small, well-designed space in a beautiful location.
We will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to spend time in that area.
This cabin is adorable and well maintained, the property has immediate access to the lake and is completely screened by woods and very private. Vergennes the property is truly off the grid but food is relatively accessible within 20-30 minutes. If youre looking to unplug and detach from your busy life i would reccomend this stay.
