A modern one bedroom condo on the 27th floor in the heart of Waikiki. The Pacific Ocean, Waikiki and Mountain views are enough to delight during the day but just wait until sunset for spectacular! Plus the rooftop pool & sundeck are ready and waiting for you as our guests. You'll be wanting to drop your bags and relax in comfort in this recently remodeled apartment but don't forget we are just 3.5 mins walk from Waikiki Beach when you're ready to feel the sand between your toes!
Outstanding home and great location â we really enjoyed our stay! The only suggestion is regarding the third personâs accommodation: the provided comforter was quite small. It would be better to offer two larger comforters for the extra beds for future guests.
We chose this VRBO for its reasonable price and proximity to so many things we wanted to do. The location was amazing and I recommend it for that. It was not a place where I wanted to spend time hanging out. It was a place to land with our stuff and sleep. I wouldnât recommend it for much more than that. The views at night and early morning were fantastic.
The Condo was located within walking distance to the beach, shopping & restaurants. It had a gorgeous view to give a wonderful aloha vibe! It was very clean & had everything we needed. The property manager was easy to contact. Will definitely rent this place again! Our family truly enjoyed our stay!!
We have stayed at The Pacific Monarch a few times. We like the location in town and the condos that are available are very nice. The accommodations were just great and our stay was most enjoyable. The condo is located above the hotel accomodations, which is on the lower floors. Twice while we were on the rooftop pool, which is available for hotel guests and condo renters, the area were taken over by 20 somethings drinking, playing their music loud, and carrying on as if they rented the area out for their party and we were intruders. We did not like that scene.
The environment is clean and comfortable. The living room has a sea view and is very beautiful. The only bad thing is that there is only one door key. You have to go in and out with your family every time, or wait at the door and wait for other people to come out. Otherwise, you cannot enter the elevator and go upstairs at the entrance of the lobby.
This was my first time in Hawaii & the view from the room was amazing. The place did not come with parking, we parked about two blocks down the way & honestly it's not a bad walk, the downside was having to pay extra for the week. My partner, cousin & I fit comfortably in the place. The walk to Waikiki beach was about 4 mins and it's close to a lot of places such as food and shopping. The A/C unit worked great during the hotter times of the day. The biggest fallthrough was the temperature of the shower water. It wasn't hot, the sinks got hotter than the shower water. A really big disappointment, especially after a day at the beach or when you come home after a long day & you just need a steamy shower. It was lukewarm. We contacted the host who merely just said "it was never a problem before" the issue was never resolved and guest services in the building couldn't do anything about it because the temperature was controlled by the host. Which the host did nothing about. So we took lukewarm showers for one week. The throw blanket that was by the couch didn't smell washed, it smelled musty like someone used it prior. There also weren't any extra sheets for the person sleeping on the futon, just extra pillows. Was very displeased by the host's attentiveness. He was not very responsive nor seemed like they cared, but the view & location was great.
