2nd story 650 square foot Studio feels much larger with it's high ceilings. Sits above garage with entirely separate entrance, also separate parking from main house, open air feel, 2 sets of French doors leads to 600 square foot deck with out door seating, mountain and ocean view, studio sits in front of main house, completely detached, with natural light and windows.
Includes Smart TV, fast WIFI, work desk, comfortable queen bed. Stocked kitchen galley style kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower combo, linens & towels. Unit sits above street and is private from main house and neighbors. Onsite laundry available. 'One off street parking space provided'.

Excellent stay

The location was fantastic. It was close to all activities we were looking for in Santa Barbara. Separate entrance, all the privacy you could ask for. A quiet, wonderful experience. Thanks so much to the owners, we will be back.

excellent place to stay. Convenient to downtown Santa Barbara and to Montecito. Very responsive host. The accommodations were comfortable and the vaulted ceiling made the place seem spacious. I had everything I needed there. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful taste of the SB lifestyle

This studio is spacious, well-appointed, beautiful light, clean, kitchen well-stocked, lovely wraparound deck - a wonderful base to explore Santa Barbara. Jill was great with communication. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Fabulous weekend getaway

The Scenic Studio was the perfect place to stay for an impromptu weekend getaway. The location was convenient--we were no more than a 15 minute drive to all the best spots in town. We also enjoyed the porch with the spectacular view. The apartment was clean, comfy, and secluded. Jill was a friendly and attentive host. Highly recommend this spot, it's a gem!

Great Place To Stay

I had an incredible stay! The eclectic decor was delightful, and the hostess was wonderful. Despite the rain, the balcony offered a glimpse of its charm as a perfect hangout spot with a beautiful view. Everything was effortless and clean, and the decor suited my taste perfectly. I had the best stay this past week, just what I needed for a 5-day work trip -- quiet location and comfy bed with easy carport parking. Very cozy too, super clean and nicely decorated. Plus Jill was just awesome to communicate with. Of course I would rather give a 1 so I can bring the score down and ensure the place is available on my next trip, but I can't do that to Jill!!! Seriously, highly recommend this place!

Quiet and Comfortable

Apartment is in a residential neighborhood a short drive away from the beaches, the wharf, downtown, and neighboring Montecito. Having a car seemed essential, and there's a dedicated parking place. Apartment worked nicely for two people. Kitchen, wifi, etc., were useful. I certainly would consider staying here again.

We loved the Scenic Studio. It felt like a cute little nest above the city. Close to Santa Barbara attractions - East Beach Tacos! - and Montecito - Bree-Osh bakery! Quiet residential neighborhood. So light and bright with windows on three sides and distant view of the ocean. Large wrap-around patio with lots of seating. Comfortable bed. Kitchen with all the necessities. It was perfect for our stay!

We stayed 32 days at Jill's Place and lowed every day

It is a short drive to downtown and the beach. Two large French doors open up to the very large balcony. making the apartment feel bigger. The fully covered balcony has furniture for meals outside, as well as for just relaxing. The apartment has everything you need for cooking at home dinners. Parking is off the street in a very safe neighborhood. Can't go wrong with Jill's Place.

Great view

Well-thought out and maintained . Over-the-garage unit,with vaulted ceilings and lots of windows and French doors for light and view. Lovely wrap-around balcony. Our only regret was not having enough down time for us to enjoy the balcony more! Jill was a great host, answering our questions, and then disappearing to let us enjoy our stay.

Great little spot!

Jill's place was quintessential Santa Barbara with great outdoor space, comfortable low-key indoor space, and a relaxed vibe. While it is a studio, the smart layout and interior design make it feel considerably larger than its square footage might indicate. The sleeping/living space, kitchen and bathroom are all highly functional without feeling crowded and the double French doors to the full patio seamlessly incorporate the typically perfect SB weather to infuse this property with an openness that I've found in very few vacation rentals. Quick communication with minimal intrusion, impeccably clean, and overall a great value.

Nice property / choppy check in process

The studio was as advertised, clean and in a good location … the parking spot was helpful and the studio did seem to be larger with the high ceilings … getting access to the studio on day one was troublesome for me, I did not receive and communication from the owner on the address of the studio or how to gain access …had to contact the owner and she was able to guide me through this process with just a little bit of heartburn

Wonderful Studio

This studio was everything we expected: clean, spacious, and nicely furnished, comfortable bed with good linens, great water pressure in the shower, and a well-stocked kitchen. It’s a great place for a single person or couple. The unit is above a garage, and a flight of outdoor stairs leads to the studio. There is also one dedicated off-street parking space on the property. While we never needed to use the laundry facility it was easily accessible. The nearest coffeeshop is a 4-minute drive (1.5 miles) or a nice 30-minute walk to Montecito. There is some road noise from the freeway but not enough to bother us. The occasional honking of the train can be loud when there is an onshore wind, but we were far enough away that it was a minor nuisance. The only problem was the spotty WIFI coverage, which I’m certain the hostess will have resolved by now. Communication with Jill was excellent, and she responded very quickly when we had questions.

Born and raised in Santa Barbara, owner operator of a restaurant in town called 'Jill's Place' popular with the locals and tourists! Actually grew up in this house, it's a large property very spacious for visiting guests.

Very relaxing, you can hear the animals from the zoo in the morning! Walk to Coffee and shops in near by Montecito. Evening sunsets are great! Parking, private and safe.
