This location canât be beat. This recently remodeled, light-filled apartment sits right next door to the historic Hotel Winneshiek.

The apartment is at the top of a long stairway so guests must be able to manage stairs.
In the building we also have a second property, a larger 2 bedroom apartment, Check out our other listing to rent both units together, making this a great choice for those wishing to host a large group.
We experienced this property just as it was booked. Although an older building, it was extremely clean and furnished in a fun, retro style. The location on Water Street was perfect as a launching point to explore Decorah.
The apartment is exactly what it shows in pictures. Itâs clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our long weekend getaway. The lotions and soaps are all great quality. Mattress and towels are comfortable. Right on the Main Street, across from a great coffee shop and shops and restaurants. Close driving to hiking trails and breweries. Would absolutely stay again.
We absolutely loved our stay in Decorah! The house was adorableâthoughtfully decorated with a cozy, homey feel that made us feel instantly comfortable. The location truly couldnât be betterâjust a short walk to all the shops, restaurants, and charm of downtown. At the same time, it was still an easy drive to all the local hikes and outdoor adventures we had planned. Such a perfect spot for both relaxing and exploring. Highly recommend!
This one bedroom apartment above a retail store on the main strip of Decorah was the perfect place to enjoy Decorah and be able to walk to all the cute restaurants and stores. The apartment is laid out perfectly with so many fun and eclectic touches. LEAH was a great host and always answered my questions. I hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.
The apartment was perfect for my stay in Decorah. It was -10 degrees and I was so cozy and warm with the radiator heat. The space is cute, convenient walking to restaurants, shops, and food coop and grocery store. The owner I met is super friendly and you can tell she has a flair for mid-century interior decorating and design. Highly recommended!
The quality and location of the space were ideal, although youâll need to get friendly with any tenants in the adjoining apartment if you want laundry access.
