Beautiful Mobile Bay home has 2 bedrooms / 2 baths and a queen size sleeper sofa. The home is located in a quiet residential area approximately 8 miles from beautiful downtown Fairhope. and an hours drive to Gulf Shores or you could take your boat to Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan or Dauphin Island in less than an hour. Enjoy great fishing, crabbing or paddle -boarding off your private pier or just relax on the screened porch with a good book while you listen to the waves.

We loved this place.

This was a great out of the way house. We loved the pier, the porch and the incredible sunsets. The owner was very accommodating, And I would certainly stay here again.

Great place for short vacation down to Fairhope! The view was amazing. The location was perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at this VRBO. Jeanette was quick to respond to questions. The location was perfect. Amazing sunset views. Fishing on the dock was great despite the weather. Will definitely consider another trip down!

Fairhope for funeral

This house and the location were perfect for our stay. Had to come in town for a funeral and this was perfect for my family of 5 to relax and decompress. Was able to catch some crabs off dock and cook for dinner on our last night. Sunsets were amazing! Jeanette was great with communication and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again when we’re in town.

Anniversary trip

We have stayed at this property before. We come back because it is great. It has a beautiful setting. The sunsets are beautiful. There is much to do. I enjoy catching crabs from the pier. We will come back soon.

Great place!!

The house is perfect for 4 people. The kitchen is open into the den. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch. The wharf is really nice. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were soft. The kitchen is completely stocked if you want to cook. We will definitely return!

March 2024 Bay House

Very nice screened-in porch to relax in and enjoy the bay. The pier is nice as well and there is a large entertainment area underneath the home that allows you to enjoy outside without being in the weather. The kitchen is well stocked with various tools and the den has 2 really comfortable recliners. There are televisions in both bedrooms. The beds could use better sheets, but overall, our stay was very pleasant.

Southern "Nice"

We have a thing in the Midwest called Midwest Nice, and this was Southern Nice. First time down to AL, and not the last. Jeanette was so Nice/Responsive/Accommodating, house was so quiet/relaxing/clean. Neighbors were great. Can't say enough good things... Thank YOU and can't wait to go back... :)

The most relaxing vacation spot.

I can't say enough good things about this property. Clean, quiet, relaxing. Has a great neighborhood with a family feel. Jeanette is a wonderful host! I asked to check in a day early and she arranged it! So glad we did because my family loved this home. My dad and grandmother fished for days! Caught lots of catfish, and even a sting ray! Also, they caught ten crabs in the crab trap. It was a fabulous week! We will definitely rent again.

THE BEST TIME EVER

I can't say enough good things about the house and our host Jeanette. The house was beautiful, clean and had everything you could possible want or need. The pier was great. We caught crabs everyday and sat out of the pier and enjoyed the sunsets. The screened in porch was a plus. Jeanette was available to answer questions and even met us at the house to show us around. We even got a special treat to meet her brother in law, who showed us how to catch shrimp with a net. We had so much fun. We want to go back in the future. Thank you Jeanette.

Respite

Went for a week to relax and recuperate from caring for brother dying of brain cancer. Husband loves to fish, I like to read and do a little cooking. The kitchen is fabulous over and above with everything you could need! Fishing wasn’t all that good but sometimes that happens we still enjoyed the nice pier and being there on the water. Had an issue with air conditioner and Jeanette had it solved immediately (much faster than it would have happened at home!)

Location, communication, amenities, peace & quiet: CHECK!

Jeanette is an amazing host & legend in the Fairhope area! Google her & her impressive story. I attended a lawyers' convention & decided to stay off the beaten path away from the resort crew & its noisy. GRAND IDEA! Jeanette's place was the perfect location, w/the perfect amenities, perfect peacefulness & just a short drive to restaurants, grocery shopping, gas, etc. The convenience of the boat dock, the sunsets, & allowing a few small dogs in the yard were gifts! If EVER in the Mobile Bay area again, I'm staying at Jeanette's place. It's a guarantee & I am most grateful for her kindness, hospitality & prompt responses. Google Jeanette Burgin & you will understand & appreciate her love for & connection to the Fairhope community. Happy vacation to you & yours at Jeanette's place.

Mobile Bay Vacay!

My partner and I are both in our seventies and was a little concerned about negotiating the stairs up to the home, for it is on stilts. Jeanette warned me of this, since my lady friend had a stroke a little over a year ago and I am a 100% Disabled Veteran. Luckily I don't have any physical limitations and Leta was able to mount the stairs with no problems. In fact, it turned out to be good exercise for the both of us. The home itself was absolutely perfect for us. The location was easy to get to, the scenery is beyond gorgeous, and the view from the back deck is mesmerizing. (Especially the sunsets!). Everything was clean and encountered no problems. We look forward to another trip here in the near future!

Perfect location for a Bay-cation! Well managed and easy to access. Friendly neighbors and well appointed kitchen and outdoor accessories. Will be back in the Spring!
