BEACH ESCAPE! Enjoy the "Sea Swell" house, a beach retreat in the Outer Banks, and evenings relaxing around your fire pit. Located in the heart of Nags Head and steps from shopping, activities, and a short walk to the beach. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath (plus an outdoor shower) is great for groups up to 7, with ample space inside and multiple outdoor spaces to relax.

We offer a convenient check-in for guests with a keyless entry system. The kitchen is set up for cooking at home on those nights you just want to chill at the cottage. It is equipped with pots and pans, a variety of cooking utensils, dishes, silverware, glasses, wine glasses, coffee mugs, baking dishes, a toaster, a blender, and a Keurig coffee maker.

There is a BBQ grill and some great fish markets nearby.

The backyard, ground level and upper deck are fenced in and gated so you can let your dog out of the house to explore.

Guests will have the entire house, which includes a ground level with a carport, swings, chairs, picnic table, outdoor shower, charcoal grill, and fire pit. This level also has a storage unit with all beach supplies (a beach cart, 6 chairs, umbrellas, cooler) plus 5 cruiser bikes for exploring. There is a full size washer and dryer located in the downstairs storage unit.

The house has a living space with a big screen Smart TV. YouTube TV is provided for watching live channels and you can access your own streaming services. The kitchen has bar stools around the counter and the dining table has seating for six. There are 3 bedrooms (one with a king bed, a second with a queen, and a third bedroom with bunk beds - twin over full. The queen bedroom and bunk room have TVs that use Roku sticks. There is a full bathroom with shower/tub in the main hallway, as well as a full master bathroom attached to the master bedroom..

The house can accommodate up to 2 dogs and has a fenced-in yard. If you have a special request please reach out to us.

We had a lovely visit to this property. It was close to the beach and centrally located to all of the attractions in the Outer Banks. We appreciated the amenities and the fire pit was a treat. The fenced yard was great for our dogs. We would definitely recommend!!

Amazing Stay!

The cottage was absolutely beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. Location wise - this is perfect for everything. Walking distance to beach. We chose this cottage because of the fenced yard for our dogs and it definitely did not disappoint. We loved being able to have our dogs with us on vacation and this is one of the few in OBX that has a fenced yard so we don’t have to keep our dogs on lease for every potty break.

Home away from home

The house had everything we needed! Loved having the gate across the driveway so the dogs were safe and secure. The house was clean and well cared for. We enjoyed our stay. It was a short walk to the beach, coffee and ice cream. There is a beach wagon that was sooo helpful as well as chairs, umbrella, beach toys and bikes. Fire pit had logs ready to go. They thought of everything. 5 STAR STAY!

Perfect Memorial Day Vacation

The house was absolutely perfect and met all our needs. We really appreciated the beach supplies. Mere minutes walk to the beach and so close to great restaurants. We had a fantastic stay!

Everything you need!!!

I brought my daughter and a few of her friends here for a long weekend and it was just perfect for us! The location was great - walking distance to the cutest coffee/gift shop and an easy walk/bike ride to the beach. The owners thought of everything from the lock codes on the bikes matching the house code to the drawer with assorted ziplocks bags. I usually brings my own beach gear but I didn’t need it! This house offers it all! The house guide was quite helpful bc the town offers more than I was expecting so to have suggestions of where to eat and shop was helpful! Highly suggest this property!

Quality Stay!

Host was very communicative throughout the process from beginning to end. I like high end quality things and so does the property owner! Quality furniture, furnishings and fixtures even the hand soap, towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash was quality! The bed had great linens and the mattress was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed. Quick walk to the beach and a hometown coffee shop within 1 min of the property. Coffee provided too boot! Really appreciate all the little things the property owner did to make this a very comfortable stay! I even forgot some clothes in the drawer and they were willing to send them back to me! We are planning to stay here again! Thanks so much!

Great Family Vacation Spot

We had a great family vacation here at the end of June. Our fur babies loved having a fenced yard to play in, it suited our needs perfectly. Plenty of space for the 5 of us and 2 fur babies. Will keep in mind for future vacations.

(Beach) home away from home

Great house in a great location! The beach is only a short walk away. The yard is fully fenced and very pet friendly! Strongly recommend this rental! Can’t wait to visit the OBX again!

We stayed here to go to our sons house in Manteo, for Thanksgiving. Property was just as described, with everything you needed. Great location and perfect beach bungalow around MP 10.5 in Nags Head.

Fishing trip for Teenagers

Had a great time. Communication with the host was always available and the home was just as described. Very clean and convenient to beach with all the extra amenities you needed. Will definitely go back again to stay.

clean and beautiful beach house

The house is really nice and clean. Easy check in and loved the yard for dogs and the few minutes to walk to the beach. The coffee shop on the corner was a bonus we walked to it everyday, I have no complaints and this house is one of my favorites.

Charming cozy cottage

We picked the worst weather possible for our trip :) but the warm and comfy cottage was perfect place to stay. Close to Kitty Hawk and a must see the wild horses of Corlolla. Just a few blocks to beach! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Perfect Weekend Retreat

Great place in convenient location to many local attractions, restaurants and shops. The house was just as described with the bikes and swings being a huge hit. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. The house is well appointed and tastefully decorated. The towels and linens were of good quality and a nice touch as many other rentals in the area didn’t provide. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect house and location

The house was exactly like it was advertised. It was clean and very comfortable. Had a homie feel to it. Everyone said they loved the house and the location was perfect . It was walking distance to the beach, local grocery store was right nearby and Centrally located to good restaurants. I would definitely recommend this house.

Perfect for family’s with multiple kids!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. Everything was clean and surpassed our expectations. The coffee and ice cream shops across the street are extremely convenient and worth the 2 min walk. With beach access not to far and easily accessible. We will definitely consider booking again.

Our stay

Nice house in a convenient location. Kids loved playing under the house when weather wasnt so good. Beach short walk away. 5 bikes at house(all adult size)let us all be able to ride together, small kids brought their own bikes. Would definitely stay here again.

We are Outer Banks locals who love the beach, waves, and sharing all that our town has to offer. You can find us taking morning walks, combing the beach for shells, and chasing waves. We enjoy hosting and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This beachside house is the quintessential Nags Head beach box. It's a short walk to several beach accesses (though you can ride the bikes or drive and park if you prefer). This updated house lives well and lends itself to a relaxing stay. There is a surf shop and coffee shop on the end of the street, and Dowdy park is just a few blocks away. The house has been curated for you to just show up and enjoy. Multiple outdoor spaces provide a variety of places to hangout.
