Enjoy a peaceful, personal retreat at this unique & lovely destination with wrap around porch offers old nostalgic decor combined with the new. Narrowsburg town is a few miles away as the crow flies.
The beach lake hideaway is amazing! I donât write a lot of reviews but just wanted to tell about this great stay.
The house is wonderful located on a very quiet street but still only minutes away from a beautiful little town that has everything from great brunch places and supermarkets. The house it self is very charming and has everything you need and more. There is the best BBQ outside overlooking a big grass field where we played games. If you hike down you will find a lovely little creek as well! Highly recommend this beautiful getaway and will return for sure!
Positive: Nice linens and towels. Clean bathroom and kitchen sink. Nice front porch and back deck to relax. Had internet
Negative: This house is vary remote and very hard to find after dark. Plan to bring your own food with you. There were lots of bugs, cobwebs, and mice droppings in the house. There is no AC. There is no working stove or oven, only a hot plate, toaster, and a microwave. There was no cell service either.
Petrusia was a fantastic host and our group loved our stay. The property was not deep in the woods but in a close, cozy neighborhood, though still had lovely small woods just behind the back yard. The two smaller bedrooms are not much larger than their beds, but the delightful living and dining rooms downstairs, with tons of entertainment options, more than make up for it. The house is filled with furniture and appliances that have a ton of character and a lovely, country home aesthetic. While there were signs of proximity to the rich, local nature (cobwebs, mouse sign and the like), those things are essentially a given in such an environment. Thank you so much for a marvelous stay!
