weekend getaway

Very well maintained home with easy access to everything we wanted to do. Beds were comfortable, towels were great, kitchen was well stocked( could use a couple of steaks knives!), backyard patio was great for relaxing after a day exploring DC.

Great location at a great value

Really enjoyed our stay. Town house is in a great location with nearby access to metro rail. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The couch and bed in the primary bedroom and starting to succumb to wear and tear. Would stay here again

Perfect for our Ladies Trip

The house is surprisingly spacious when staying with my two friends. We were glad to be so close to DC and each have our own room. The beds and linens were comfortable. It was so cute and even better than the pictures. Easy street parking and a gorgeous back patio. We loved to see the daffodils and other plants.

Family Reunion

Great price and clean. Half a mile from Metro which gets travels to all the Monuments and Museums in Washington D.C. within 15 minutes. Host checked in with us, and also quick to reply and assist if we needed.

Conveniently located, clean and comfortable.

Overall, great experience. The property was very clean and appointed as described in the listing. It was especially helpful to have three bedrooms. The location was convenient to the airport, Old Town, and metro rail stops. Street parking was generally available with no problem.

March Break

Excellent property central to a lot of attractions and shopping. There wasn't a washer and dryer but a coin laundromat is a couple minute walk away. They also offer a wash and fold service for 1.50 a pound. About 14 dollars for a big load. Also local shop la paisa make 2 dollar papusas that are awesome.

Things to caution

Overall, we enjoyed our stay and easiness of access to the tourist places. On the second day, we noticed that the back door leading to the back yard was not locked. The bathtub is quite slippery and we had to use the bathroom mat to avoid any accident.

Close to everything, spotless and A+ host

William is a responsive host who is excited to share info about the whole area. His townhouse is spotless and well-appointed. Comfy cozy beds with excellent linens and towels. Neighborhood is clean and safe, 30 minutes walk to Old Alexandria. The Metro Potomac Yard Station is about 15 minutes walk away, Target and Giant grocery on the way home. Added bonus was the fox cornered on the back patio by Jalapeño the car next door! We enjoyed 3 of William’s local restaurant recommendations —- Wafle House, Northside 10 and Jet’s Pizza. Omar’s also dished up some yummy jerk chicken! Thank you, William!

Great place and even better location!

Perfect place near all the action of VA and DC. Clean and easy check in process. Host was super friendly and attentive. Only concern would be the stairs if you’re older-they were a bit steep and narrow but fine for us in our 30s and 40s. Would book here again!

Long weekend in Alexandria

Home away from home

We had a great 3 night stay here! The house was clean and had plenty of room for my family of 4, was well appointed and comfortable. Check in and out was easy. Communication with the host was great too.

Wonderful place to stay

The townhouse is centrally located, easy to get into Alexandria, as well as DC. We were visiting family and some family visited us in the townhome. It was wonderful to have the kitchen and shops nearby. We also walk a bit from the property and there nice walks close by by a lake and into town! Highly recommend this property!

Good location in Alexandria

This property worked out well for our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday. We had no major issues but found some essentials missing from the kitchen (measuring cups, hot pads, dish towels), which made preparing food somewhat challenging. Also, while there were plenty of bath towels and facecloths, there were no hand towels for the bathroom. These were minor issues, however, given our overall satisfaction. In summary, we were very pleased with this VRBO and would definitely rent it again if we need a place in Alexandria.
