Open concept cabin with Large deck and amazing view of Lake Quinault. Beautiful view of the north shore, south shore and an upper valley. Located on the shore of the lake at the mouth of the Lower Quinault River. Watch the fish jump, roll and feed in the water as the eagles soar and osprey search for a meals along with otters and ducks! Dare to catch a glimpse of the never the same morning sunrises! Convenient location to explore the Olympic National Park and Olympic Peninsula coastline. Working remotely? Star Link Wifi (150 MBPS).
The house was very clean, plenty of room for 4 adults. Nice quiet area. The view is amazing and location is perfect for exploring southwest Olympic NP and beyond!
Absolutely perfect. Tiny place but everything is lovely and done with attention to detail. Great location with killer views over the lake to the surrounding mts. Just minutes to south road hiking trails.
The location was great for the outdoor activities we wanted to do. One good restaurant nearby at Lake Quinault. You will need to bring all cooking items, food, coffee, etc to this location as it is remote.
Very clean, lovely little cabin. Exactly what we wanted and in a great location. Not an issue for us, but I will note that the loft bedroom and the shower could be tight if you are on the larger size.
We stayed one night as we traveled the Olympic loop. It was very convenient, quiet, and not far from the main road. The cabin was very clean and well laid out. There was a beautiful view of the lake and mountains from the back deck. However, considering the price we paid, we expected the neighboring cabins to be a little further away and of similar condition, but most were not. Quite a few were run down, had junk in their yard, and near the end of the road there were about 5 abandoned cabins (the neighborhood is a loop off the main road.) The owner has spent so much time and care on this property that I'm sure it's frustrating that the neighbors do not care in the same way.
This home is very clean and well appointed. It has a fantastic view of the lake. We had lunch at the Lodge, went to Ruby Beach, and hiked on the Quinault trails. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to prepare dinner.
Gorgeous view of the lake and mountains, close to the park, very quiet and peaceful. The home and kitchen were well stocked with anything you could need. We even took the kayaks for a spin on the lake.
This house has a beautiful remodel job, who ever did the work knows what they are doing. The veiw of the lake is amazing and the location is nice. There are a couple good places to eat nearby and very quiet.
Gorgeous view of the lake in a tiny cabin. The second bedroom is really a doorless loft, so it was a little smaller than we thought from the listing. The best part was really the deck (where we sat out for dinner- pizza from the restaurant up the street) and looking out over the water. The cabin was well arranged, we had everything we needed, would recommend.
Amazing views and location, and very comfortable cabin!
We had a fantastic stay here while visiting the Quinault Rain Forest at Olympic National Park. The Lake Quinault Lodge and multiple trails are accessible within a 10 minute drive, and you can get to the Kalaloch beaches in just over half an hour.
The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable, with an excellent layout that made it feel spacious despite the small size. It's right on Lake Quinault, so the views from the cabin and the deck are absolutely amazing, and we were able to watch an osprey fishing from the deck.
Also, if Brenda's friend has salmon for sale, take him up on the offer, as it was the best salmon we've ever had!
Our family visited Lake Quinault to explore the nearby trails, beaches and rainforest. The home was very clean, well maintained and has an amazing view of Lake Quinault. It was a very rainy weekend so when we were not out exploring, we were inside the cozy cabin. The kitchen was well stocked to prepare meals and local restaurants were good. I wish we had more indoor activities for the kids (ages 8 and 11) since internet and Roku is very spotty, understandably for the location. Board games and puzzles would have been great to have at the cabin. The kids seemed to like sleeping in the loft and the beds were comfy. The stairs are very steep but the kids were good about using the handrail. Overall, a nice place to stay. I highly recommend the nature trail by the Quinault Lodge, which is nearby. Beautiful area to explore!
Our family of four stayed for two nights at this cabin on the lake. The cabin was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The couch and table were nice, and the TV is well located so as not to be in the way or a focus, but easy to watch if you want.
The cabin is located in a small neighborhood, and it was very quiet the entire time of our stay. You can walk down to the water, but it's not the easiest trek as you have to get down a raised wall. Easy for the kids, but probably a bit tougher if you weren't as spry. The views from the deck were great, and we saw a lot of water foul and birds.
The cabin is located right between the entrance for the South Shore Drive and North Shore Drive. If you are looking for good food at decent prices with quick service, go to Dino's and forget the lodge at Quinault. We ate there both nights and we would have done so again if we stayed longer. The breakfast options in the area are slim, so I would suggest you either make/bring breakfast or allow for time.
I would recommend this cabin for any other small families looking for a nice quiet stay with easy access to all of the hiking trails in the Quinault area. We even made a trip to Klaloch beach to check the tide pools, and it was only a 30 to 40 min drive each way.
This was our second stay, we had a great time. The kids love sleeping in the loft and we had a great time on the lake in the kayaks. Excellent home base for exploring Olympic National Park and Quinault area!
We loved this little house! It was so peaceful sitting on the deck looking out at the lake and all the birds. It was a great location near many places we wanted to visit but much quieter than the other side of the lake, which we loved!
Lovely and cozy place by the lake with nice kitchen, and amazing view of the lake. We warmed up after rainy hiking and cooked a great meal, then did a puzzle on the big table. Would recommend!
View was great! We loved the deck and going out on the lake in the kayaks. Not too many restaurants around and market was tiny. Also Internet was spotty.
