☀ There are two pool passes. But extra guest passes can be obtained. The house has easy access to the water and the cove is such that swimming and paddleboat etc is amazing right there. It is great to sit on the dock as the kids play in the water or jump in and have a swim with them.
☀ Check-in would be with the security guard at the gated entrance. There is plenty of parking in the House. Fortunately, the property lots 4 car parking.
☀ Guest needs to inquire first before booking for stays more than 30 nights.

☀Paddle Boat Use:

Guests are welcome to enjoy the paddle boat during their stay. Please remember to take the paddle boat out of the water when you're finished using it. This helps keep the area clean and ensures the boat stays in great condition for future guests.

Our group of five families had an amazing time at this property! Everything was clean and as expected. The lake is amazing and the house has beautiful views. We had a terrific time kayaking, swimming, and enjoying the water. The hot tub was clean and the perfect temperature. The bedrooms were all clean and comfortable. The common areas were perfect for both gathering together and allowing for people to find a little quiet space. I’d definitely recommend this place!

This is a perfect oasis for large gatherings to have an absolute blast together! The host was extremely communicative, accommodating, and helpful prior and during our stay. The house is just gorgeous, as is the lake view. We enjoyed the commodities, especially the paddle boards. Highly recommend for your next big family vacation! Beautiful, stress-free, amazing experience!!!!

Friendsgiving

What an amazing Friendsgiving weekend! The house was perfect - ssooo much room & even though it was chilly outside we were still able to enjoy the lakefront! The paddleboat was extra fun to get out on the water for a bit. The kitchen was AMAZING plus the kitchen area in the basement an added bonus. Beds are super comfy. I would highly recommend this home. Communication with the Property Manager was outstanding!

Large group review

I wanted to give this a 5 star rating. It has potential to be a 5 star, but not without some attention to detail. We were a group of 22 - maxed out their allowance - of ages infant to grandparents. We stayed at Patricia's place for 6 nights. There were a few things that were frustrating - starting with the communication from the beginning of the rental process. I was communicating with 2 entities (going through the vrbo platform) at the same time, making clarity an issue. She uses a second party to manage marketing? It was frustrating to ask a question and get 2 answers. Due to space allowed in the review, the rest will be shorter. A leak in the refrigerator line downstairs (unattached) could have been taken care of prior to arrival if the sink had been turned on. The fridge in the picture wasn't there - it was in the garage. We got one towel per person, for the week, and were told this the day before we arrived. Most of us were already on the road and couldn't pack more. The house was decently clean inside. It is dated. Some broken blinds, couch attachments and legs, nothing terrible. The outside could use some attention for appeal. The beds were mostly comfortable. The use of the lake toys was wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked and neat. The neighborhood was quiet. The fire pit a nice gathering place, though a bit of terracing on the lake side would make the ground level and remove the slope. Overall a good week in a very useable space.

Relaxing Stay on the Lake

This was our 2nd visit back to the lake house and it was just as enjoyable as our last. Enough space to fit our group of guys and great views from the entire home. Great communication from our host. We will definitely return again.

Great weekend get-away!

This home is stunning, exactly as pictured. There is plenty of room to gather together, and lots of space to retreat. The neighborhood is quiet, and the birds serenaded us throughout the weekend. We loved the kayaks and paddleboards. We cook for our crowd, and appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. Our group was all together for meals and fun, but this house is also well suited for multiple family units. 4 stars instead of 5 - Bring your own towels. The towels provided were small and thin, and only one per person. The house is beginning to show signs of wear and tear. The front door spring was broken, one of the window cranks didn't work etc. Nothing major. I would rent here again, and highly recommend it!

What a view!

In this house, the view from almost every room in the house is of the beautiful lake. What more could you need?! There is a clean comfortable bed for everyone in your family and so much space for you to spend time together and play or swim or play Pickle Ball. We had a wonderful long holiday weekend and the host was very responsive.

This is our 2nd time staying at this property and both times the host was very attentive and took care of all of our needs. We have made this a family tradition now due to all the fun we have in the house and on the lake. Would highly recommend it!!

Perfect for large parties

We enjoyed this property during our daughters high school graduation weekend. Our out of town family stayed here and it was perfect for the many different folks who came to celebrate with us. Our only regret was that we didn’t get to use the outdoor amenities and the lake because of our schedules!

amazing weekend getaway with friends

I traveled with a group of 21 total friends ranging from 23-30 years old and we are so lucky we found this home! The property is exactly as pictured with an even bigger driveway than we imagined (important since we had 11 cars total). Patricia was extremely communicative and so helpful with providing recommendations of things to do, wineries to visit, etc. The check in and checkout process was so simple and she made everything so pleasant. She even provided her personal cell # for quick communication if we had any questions. Having a hot tub and a great grill were also huge perks for our group. it was a bit cold for the lake, but knowing we could use the peddle boat and other water sport amenities was awesome! The house itself was beautiful with plenty of beds for our group. Having two living spaces with comfy couches was perfect and welcoming. The outdoor space was convenient and well-kept with plenty of deck space and a very nice fire pit. I would absolutely recommend this home!

Annual gathering. Since 1985.

Loved it. There was talk about returning next year, if you’ll have us. We gather every year around Nov 10 (Marine Corps Birthday) usually half way between Proctorville, Ohio and Stafford, Va. we had to change this year due to health issues with 2 of our original members that live in Stafford. Your house was better than perfect. Thank you for hosting us. I hope we left everything in order. Thank you again.

Incredible Place to create great memories that will last a lifetime!!

We don't take a lot of vacations but when we do, we try to make it memorable and activity filled. The house is absolutely incredible with high ceilings and lots of space. All the bedrooms are large with incredible views of the lake. The property is meticulously maintained and the furnishings are modern and clean. The kitchen and family room area are the best part and opens up to the expansive deck that spreads all across the back of the property with unobstructed views of the lake. All the kitchen appliances are high end just like the rest of the house and the bbq grill under the deck area is perfect for grilling while hot tubbing and spending time on the lake. The provided Paddle Boards were a game changer and we are happy to report that majority of our time was spent on the Paddleboards graciously provided by the host. The house was incredible but the host was even more wonderful. She was communicative throughout the process and allowed us to come in a bit early which was a great help. The cleaning crew that the host uses is excellent, and the house was spotless. There was plenty of trash bags and toiletries provided. I would highly recommend this property for an absolutely memorable vacation. Don't forget to also visit the local restaurants. The residents of the area are very friendly and even invited us to dinner after just a few minutes of meeting us at the restaurant next to the golf course.

The property was beautiful!! Could see the lake in almost every room. The host went above and beyond. They are very fast responding, kind, and just the most amazing host I have ever had. Them plus the beautiful house just made this stay amazing. Best vacation home we've stayed in

This property is just beautiful. With more than enough rooms and beds to accommodate big families and endless games, and activities to keep everyone entertained and happy. The cleanliness was just over the top, my family is very observative when it comes to a place cleaniless and they were just absolutely amazed at how spotless this home was. Our host PatrĂ­cia was very easy to reach and always available, it made for a very comforting experience knowing that she was ready to answer any questions we had. I would definitely recommend Patricia and this home to any friends and everyone.

Wonderful weekend getaway

I took a quick weekend getaway with some friends and we LOVED this property. Not only was there plenty of space for everyone (9 people) to sleep with comfortable and clean beds but there was so much space for everyone to hang out together either upstairs in the main living room or downstairs in the secondary living room. We enjoyed playing board games, ping pong and doing puzzles that were provided by our hosts. We were able to do a lot of cooking, take advantage of the outdoor r as well as relax in the hot tub. The view every morning from the sun room is breathtaking as you look out over the water front. We also had a fresh snow fall and the water glistened with the snow. It's close enough to people and to the surrounding community that we could get food and groceries easily. But it also had a vibe of being secluded which was just what we were looking for. Our stay overall was really easy. The host was so incredibly responsive to whatever we needed, and was also receptive to things that occurred that were out of their control (we had snow that weekend). The host really went above and beyond. I would go back in a heartbeat and will definitely book again the next time.

Wonderful retreat

We had a groups of friends get together and it was perfect for our needs. The house was gorgeous and spacious. We had unseasonably warm weather for the time of year, so it was great to be able to utilize the kayaks, paddle boat, and paddle boards! And the hot tub was an ideal way to enjoy the cooler nights. Patricia was very quick to respond to my requests and questions. Overall our group had a wonderful time and would love to return for another visit!

The Johnson, Leake, & Patterson Holiday Stay

We had an AWESOME time here! It was a Spring Christmas holiday weekend which allowed us to enjoy the paddle boat, hot tub, and making s’mores in the fire pit. It was a memorable holiday weekend for all 18 of us.. The house is very spacious with plenty with enough comfortable sleeping beds for everyone. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the lake and having a cup of hot coffee either in the sunroom or outdoor balcony was breathless. We highly recommend this location and are hoping to be able to book future stays.

Amazing place for a family gathering

We had a 20 person family gathering to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation. This is an amazing property and location for a large family stay. The host is extremely responsive and accommodating. Amenities were excellent. We enjoyed the games in the basement. Lake view (specifically sun rise) was outstanding from all rooms and the large deck. Even though we stayed in December, we were able to take the small paddle boat and kayaks in the water. Kids of all ages had a blast. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a large home a short distance from DC.

Enormous lake front house with spectacular views

My family was overwhelmed with our stay at Tricia's water front home. It is an extremely large place with the best views of the lake. Spacious decks, dock and water front seating gave everyone a space to enjoy the tranquility of the water and the beautiful sunrises. Going out on the lake in the house's kayaks and paddle boards were so much fun! Tricia was one of the most meticulous hosts we have ever had. We really appreciate her hospitable and articulate qualities.
