Beneath the terrace lies one of River Rock Villa's most memorable gathering spaces.

Inspired by the relaxed charm of a roadside retreat in Puerto Rico, the shaded grotto features hand-painted palm murals, a sandy floor beneath your feet, and three arched sliding glass doors framing woodland views while providing shelter from sun or rain.

Little ones delight in building sandcastles. Families gather around the picnic table for snacks and conversation. Friends challenge one another to billiards while protected from the weather yet surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

Playful and peaceful all at once, the grotto often becomes the backdrop for unexpected moments of connection.
