This craftsmen style home is located minutes from the White River in down town Cotter, Arkansas. Is 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom. Does sleep 5 people comfortably. With 3 twin beds and a king bed. Has a front porch with rockers. In the back yard you have a charcoal grill. Then you have a fire pit with chairs to lounge around.
Spent the evening with family playing cards. Nice accomodations. Plenty of beds and seating. Very large back yard, but would be nice if mowed / maintained better.
Love staying there. The hosts are very responsive and easy to work with. The little house was a perfect stay for me. A lot of room, great kitchen, and living space. Very close to the river, park, and The White Sands cafe. Gotta try it.
Our stay was nice & Comfortable .
Parking was a little tight. Neighborhood was great.Area was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your home! Plus what a wonderful way to share with others with the community pantry.
For the price point, this is an excellent rental. For the price of a midrange hotel, we had a 2 br 1 bath house with a comfortable living room, fully stocked kitchen, fast wifi, tvs in all the bedrooms and the living room, and a big back yard. If you imagine a rural grandmother's house youll have an idea of the overall condition of the house. The only thing to be aware of when renting the house is that access to the bathroom is through the main bedroom. The owners are very quick to respond to messages, and the area is extremely relaxing.
One night stay at the White River for a buddy & myself. Rolled in after 7, both of us semi stressed & instantly calm after walking through the door. Made dinner, had some drinks, ate on the front porch in the rockers. Beds were super comfy & the house was COOL on a very hot day. Fantastic stay. Will be back.
My husband and I brought our 10 yr old granddaughter along for a quick weekend trip. This house was so cute and cozy! We loved the sharing pantry and the fall decorations really added a special touch. There were more than enough toiletry, cleaning, kitchen, laundry and general supplies available. Also, check out the amazing totem pole in the living room! I would absolutely book this house again. It was bigger and better than we had hoped.
First of all, it was great to be close to my home area. The house was cute and comfy. The hosts left a list of everything that was in the area. While we were there, we had storms that knocked out the power and as a result the water heater. The hosts were very responsive to fix it and were so nice! They responded quickly too, when my husband accidentally locked us out by locking the extra lock. OOPS! Overall, we had a great stay and was able to have my family visit.
Home is older but cute. We expected some older home charm and this home has that. It was clean, nice linens and towels. The bed was very comfy and the home was warm. The kitchen is well stocked, however items are pretty dated and need replacing. Would be nice to have a newer coffee maker and microwave. Would be a bit challenging dealing with only 1 bathroom. We were the only 2 people staying, so no big deal. But bath is located through the main bedroom. Not ideal if staying with a larger family or friends. Area was nice and quiet with friendly neighbors.
We have stayed at a few VRBO homes in Cotter and not sure this would be our top choice.
Great stay. Hosts go the extra mile to make your stay pleasant. Definitely recommend this property. We fished, walked the bank of the beautiful White River and had the best time enjoying Big Springs Park and the awesome Bridge.
