Had an awesome time skiing for a week, great condo, great kitchen, comfortable. About 5-10mins walk to the lift. Can ski down even closer(take Out to lunch run, then bridge towards the ski shop).Has a dinner table with 6 chairs so we could host some friends for dinner one night. Windows face south so you get woken by morning sun which is awesome.SHARC recreation centre is walking distance or couple mins drive, has hot tub and salt water pool, gym, bouncy castle.Overall highly recommended!
Checking in was very easy and parking was right out frontâŠcondo was very clean and well stocked..balcony letâs you enjoy nature as cars pass by! I would definitely recommend :)
The unit was very close to the base lodge. It had an elevator and luggage cart which made it easy to move in and out.
The unit itself was dated, with a small TV and poor lighting in the main room. The heating controls took awhile to get accustomed to. Nice kitchen setup with everything we needed to eat in a couple times. Overall a good value for the price, especially given the convenient location.
We enjoyed the location but felt the unit could use some TLC. A few outlets werenât working, and the living room was quite dark in the evening as there was limited lighting. The sliding door was a bit drafty, and we couldnât get the heater in the living room to work. Still, we enjoyed skiing at Sugarbush which delightful and we were glad to be able to be so close.
The outside of the condo looked old and dated. The condo itself was clean but dated. The tv in the living room was a small 32" and there was no tv in the bedroom which was not an enclosed room but a loft area above the kitchen. There was no a/c, only fans. We left early because it was too hot, even with the fans going. It was a reasonable price in a good area but needed updating.
TL;DR: This is someone's condo, listed to seem like a hotel. Contacting the renter requires a third-party app in addition to Expedia.
I rented this listing two weeks ahead of time, but the day I was supposed to check in Igot stuck in traffic leaving MA. I wanted to reach out to the renter, so I looked through the listing and the associsted emails for contact information, and found nothing. I googled the address, found the company associated with it and their phone number. I called, and it was for the property management company, not the resort, and they were closed. I re-checked my email, and searched for "Expedia." I found an email from a company I don't know with a subject "Your reservation has been confirmed" in my spam folder. It had a link for contact, which brought me to a messaging app. I downloaded/installed it and sent a message asking for a phone call or email. I recieved no response, and had to a get a different place ot turn around.
The listing makes it seem like the resort offers the room - it's not: this is someone renting their condo on a hotel booking website. The listing doesn't mention having to use a third-party app for communication. The refund policy requires two weeks' notice for a full refund, a week for a half refund, and no refund after that.
Renting through VRBO was easy. The communication with the property manager was challenging. They emailed info instead of using the VRBO app and didnât follow up with requested info via email. However, once we found the check in info everything worked well.
The place itself was comfortable, cozy and clean. We will definitely consider staying here again.
We stayed here last year for February school vacation week. The unit is efficient and extremely well located -- less than a minute to get to ski school from there by car. The sleep sofa has seen better days, but the kids didn't complain about it. Also, the kitchen could use more basics like a set of coffee mugs, more cutlery, and a slow cooker.
Comfortable rental right in the Sugarbush Village!
Very comfortable, spacious, super clean and nicely decorated unit right in the Sugarbush Village! Kitchen is very well equipped! Steps from the ski lifts! I definitely recommend this place!!!
This property was nice and we loved the Roku access. The kitchen had all that we needed for cooking all the food we brought. We thought there should be window coverings to block the sun and cold air. It wasnât walking distance to the lifts or even the bus stop for us in ski boots.
