From the moment you set foot on this unique property, you'll instantly feel your everyday stresses float away. This wonderful Wine Trail Loft can comfortably accommodate 8 guests throughout 1000 square feet of beautifully appointed living space, making this property perfect for family or friends looking to get away.

When you step inside this unique abode, you find a trendy interior complete with 14-foot ceilings, exposed brick walls, and hardwood floors. With an expansive living area that provides an ideal spot to unwind and a gorgeous, fully equipped kitchen, you'll fall in love with this vacation rental property.

After fun-filled days, look forward to returning home to a wealth of amenities to help you unwind! You'll be pleased to find many conveniences of home, including air conditioning and wireless internet access. Kick back on the fine leather sofa in the living room while you share good times with your loved ones as entertaining shows play on the DISH TV in the background. Thanks to the property's unbeatable location in downtown Alto Pass, you'll never be far from amazing Vineyards! 2 minute drive to Alto Vineyards to catch an exciting Live Music performance at the Winery. 5 minutes away drive in Von Jacob where you'll find Great Beer and Food. Hedman's Vineyard is a 2 minute drive with wonderful views and Food.

Great location with lots of nearby wineries. Cute & clean property. Owner was very reaponsive. Slept 4 of us very comfortably. The bourbon bar across the street was nice, I would recommend bringing groceries for some snacks. Will definitely be back.

Owner was able to get us in on short notice. Cute and modern two bedroom right in the heart of the wine trail. A great hub near many wineries. We enjoyed walking on the trail right outside the door. Great place to stay!

Our stay was very pleasant, very clean unit which was stocked with plenty of coffee and snacks for our three night stay. Perfect location to enjoy the Shawnee wine trail.

Quiet Little Get Away

The loft was very comfortable and clean. Very close to three wineries and within decent driving distance to a few others. The town does close early so that makes it difficult for dinner times but it works if you plan ahead.

Good location - quiet and central to our activities. Generally comfortable and had the necessities. Plenty of towels and dishes. AC in bedrooms that did help cool main room a bit, but no ac unit there. Host responsive and communicative! Some water stains / damage on walls and front curtains.

This place was perfect for our Shawnee National Forest Adventure. We were there early in the week so the local things we liked were not open. Great Value, but loses a star for dirty front windows, no dishwasher and no ceiling fans.

Everything was described accurately. We had everything we needed. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook a couple of meals. The place was clean comfortable. Check out the Bourbon bar across the street.

My brother and I grew up in Southern Illinois, and could not wait to 'Get Out,' 'Escape,' and go to the big city. I went to school in Chicago at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and left Southern Illinois far behind. I thought this was great.

Both my brother and I had very successful careers. His in the IT world of Virtualization, and I in the online advertising, marketing, and market research world catering to big pharma. In a normal year, both of us would fly 125,000+ miles and see many places, countries and sites. Working with clients al over the country and beyond.

As we grew older and our 'success' continued we felt more and more that something was missing. We began to yearn for the hills of Southern Illinois, the slower pace of life, and the people we left behind more and more.

I 2013, I came home for a few weeks to help my mother move my father into a nursing home. After this was completed I flew to Milan for business, and on my way back I received a call that my mother had had a stroke. This was a life changing event for boh my brother and I, and I never really went back to Asheville, NC.

Our father spent the year getting worse, and our Mother spent the year getting better. When my father died in December of 2013, I decided to 'officially' move to Southern Illinois, and my brother to nearby Southeast Missouri in order to spend more time with our mother and be closer with family. I also made the decision to leave the company I worked for and do something simpler, and local to Southern Illinois.

June 1st, 2014 I started my company with the goal to create vacation rental homes in Southern Illinois and help the area grow tourism. Southern Illinois is a beautiful and special place, and I would like to share it with as many people as possible.

In the Summer of 2021, my brother decided to purchase a vacation rental and join me on my adventure. I now manage the day to day operations and we both work on our houses together.
