This chalet-style log home is perfect for rocking on the front porch, star-gazing from the covered back porch, or relaxing by the fire in the beautiful vaulted ceiling living room. Includes 65 inch Tv in living room, large Tv's in all bedrooms, fiber internet, laundry room, park grill, hot tub, and fire pit. Located at the north entrance of Fall Creek Falls and only 5 minutes to the Cascades and Nature Center.
Was just what we were looking for and a great location close to the park. Us older folk had the first floor bedroom and upstairs was for the kids. Only one thing. You may want to get some new pots and pans.
Property was very clean and cozy! Host was very responsive and friendly. Our family absolutely loved our stay so much that the kids were wishing we could live there lol overall everything went well and we had no problems whatsoever! We most definitely plan to be back⊠10/10 would def recommend
Loved our stay at Tranquility cabin. Perfect location so close to Fall Creek Falls. We enjoyed dinner in Pikeville at The Butter Dish as well as at FCF Lodge. Kids loved our âbig hikeâ and the swimming holes at FCF. Overall an excellent stay and would love to stay here again!
The cabin was perfect! Everything extremely clean, adequate towels and linens. Communication with the host was simple with rapid response! No issues during our stay. Unfortunately a pool was in the listing which was not actually at the cabin but at the state park and closed for renovation. My only recommendation would be updating the listing details that there's not actually a communal pool on site. Host may already be on this though. Would highly recommend this Kevin for any family stay! We loved our time there, thank you to hosts!
This home was the perfect spot for our family to stay for a wedding that was taking place inside of Fall Creek Falls, which was a direct line into the park from the house. Beds were extremely comfortable, the back deck was a perfectly quiet place for morning cup of coffee. The place is spacious enough that 4 adults were not "on top" of each other. Plan to bring your groceries because the closest grocery store isn't close, so shop before you arrive.
This cabin was perfect for our family of 5! It is right outside Fall Creek Falls State Park and a little over an hour to Chatanooga. It was clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again!
Incredible VRBO!! I booked this house based on the great reviews. Words and pictures donât do this house justice. It is inviting, VERY clean, and comfortable. It was more than we could have asked for. Great personalized experience with the host. My family and I enjoyed our stay. Out of all the VRBO, this was the nicest. I will definitely be renting this house again!
Our family enjoyed staying in this lovely log cabin to enjoy Falls Creek Falls State. Hiking was just a 10 minute drive away. The host was especially helpful and check in was easy. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub.
A week or so before our trip there was an earthquake in the area and the day of our checking, there was no water! However after talking with the hosts they said things were getting fixed all over the area and they would let us stay our first night free. Well, we decided to take le risque and headed out. No water by the time we got there but we absolutely loved the place! Itâs right outside the park and such a beautiful place. So we did some glorified glamping and stuck out the weekend. We had a blast playing games with the kids and grilling out dinner. The hosts kept us updated on the water situation and it came back on for Friday night and Saturday morning, but went out again. They told us about where to get some water from the local fire department and that led to a great dinner review from a local. Overall, wild experience and will be back.
Great cabin at a beautiful location. My friends and I stayed there for couple of nights and we very much enjoyed our stay. Communication with host was easy. I would recommend people to stay here.
This cabin was very clean and updated. The hot tub was great, and there was plenty of room for my children to spread out. The cabin is right on the main road, so it was noisy at times, but the short drive to Falls Creek was perfect!
Everything was wonderful. The cabin was so accommodating and so perfectly thought through for anything you might need. We appreciate the cleanliness and the attention to details. We had a very small matter that was addressed with urgency and seen through to resolution. Only mention it because things can happen and owners were amazing.. I have already mentioned Tranquility to 3 friends who hope to travel to the area in the future. My family and I have decided we would love to stay at Tranquility next year . I love a VRBO that all you need are your personal belongings and all your other needs are met and this was the case at Tranquility.
We came to Fall Creek Falls during a beautiful time of the year. The cabin is located conveniently to the state park. It was clean and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed for our stay was available to us.
This was our second time booking this cabin and both times it has been amazing! The owners are so friendly and communicate great. The hot tub is clean and hot! The beds are sooo comfy! We loved everything about it and will definitely be booking again!
This is a beautiful cabin. It is kept very clean, manager was super responsive to texts. We had zero problems but asked her a few questions about area etc..and she was super helpful and responsive. The cabin has everything you need and want to have a relaxing but entertaining stay. Cabin has several yard games, hot tub, tvs, fireplaceâŠ.all included and available at time or our stay. Thank you!
We were supposed to take our four grandchildren to fall Creek Falls and stay there in our RV. Due to technical issues we couldnât take the RV and needed somewhere to sleep last minute. This was a cute little log cabin right down the road from one of the entrances to the park.
Clean, well furnished and equipped with a laundry room, which is super convenient.
Thereâs even a hot tub on the back deck!
Only negative was the upstairs floors are super creaky even at night when no oneâs walking around. Plus, we happened to come home at the same time a bug man had arrived to treat the house. He had been given our door lock code, so I wasnât happy about that with all our personal items inside and it scared my four granddaughters.
Location was excellent; floor layout was great, however lighting was a challenge (dark in the dining and living rooms, no working bedside lamps in one or more bedrooms); really enjoyed the peacefulness of the back porch.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wanted to hike and see some Tennessee waterfalls during our spring break and were not disappointed. The cabin was well stocked, beds comfortable, hot tub amazing after a long day of hiking. The entrance to Fall Creek Falls Park is right across the road and other state parks and hikes within an hours drive. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.
We are a family that loves to chase waterfalls! After traveling around Tennessee for the last 25 years or so while our children were small, we decided to find a place of our own that we could come to when we wanted to get away. We found 2 model homes built by Jim Barna of Barna log homes. We fell in love with them, the mountains of Van Buren County, and the beautiful Fall Creek Falls State Park. We named them Solace and Tranquility because that's what they have become for our family and friends. We are excited to share them and hope that you will fall in love as we did.
The location of Tranquility is perfect! It's so close to the park but just far enough away enjoy some solitude. You have all the comforts of home including a full kitchen with indoor and outdoor dining spaces as well as high speed internet and big TVs in every room!
Our cabins are 5 minutes from the Cascades and other attractions in Fall Creek Falls State Park but we are also only 45 or so from Center Hill Lake, Cummins Falls, Burgess Falls, Cumberland Caverns and Rock Island. If you would rather stay around the cabin and relax, we have a covered back porch for stargazing and wildlife watching. There are also rocking chairs on the front porch and a huge backyard with a fire pit and grill. A Mennonite community is on the other side of the park with lots of fresh vegetables and baked goods and there is riding stable down the road as well.
