07/2025 This was our first trip to Cherokee Lake and loved it! Our stay was amazing this house was a perfect fit for our family it’s very big and spacious! Its so stocked with supplies, all kinds of games and toys for the children and adults! We were very pleased! We hope to good back!

We loved our stay at Carol’s cabin! It was a great location with so many provided things to do. There was a dock, kayaks, a fire pit with a large sitting area, cornhole, and tons of indoor board games and card games. She was very responsive and even brought by an iron and ironing board to use. We would definitely like to stay here again…don’t hesitate to book, it’s an awesome place!!

Couples vacationing for July 4th

This place is one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. Boat dock for fishing, hot tub and and everything you could think of for entertainment. We will be back and will highly recommend

Wonderful cabin!!

We had an awesome vacation staying at this cabin. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was great. The kids enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake while we watched by the fire pit. We would definitely come back to this cabin again!!

Great House!

We had such a great stay! The house we clean and so well stocked! Anything we could have thought of and more! Lots of games and extra towels and blankets. The two dining tables were great for our family. The house was so cozy and just perfect for a family get together. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Relax at the Lake

Awesome stay with old friends at beautiful Cherokee Lake. Exceptionally clean and well stocked with every amenity you will need for a great getaway. Delightful inside and out. Complete kitchen supplies, kayaks, a hot tub and everything you will need to have a great getaway. Brought our boat (or you can rent one at the marina nearby) and enjoyed several relaxing days in this excellent cabin. Will definitely be back next year!

Everything you would need and more

The host was extremely helpful from check in to check out. Everything you would ever need is provided and this place is fully stocked. The kayak’s exceeded our expectations and the boat dock was nice for our kids. We were able to tie up our boat and our rental boat to the dock. The marina was one minute away by boat ride. Great location close to a Walmart and restaurants. Would definitely stay again.

Graduation Celebration Weekend

Heatherbrook Hideaway was absolutely perfect! We booked this spot as a home base for our family to gather for our son’s graduation. The home far exceeded our expectations and provided a great space to spend our weekend. The place was well stocked for a mini party for our son’s friends and their families and gave us ample space for our extended family of 10 to sleep and enjoy each other’s company. I can’t recommend the place enough. Carol was incredibly easy to work with and I can honestly she has thought of everything and more to make the home perfect for any stay. We are hoping to come back for a longer stay to make more use of the lake access! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Awesome place!

We had a great stay here a few weeks ago. Everything we could think of was provided at the house. Even outside entertainment for the kids!. They loved the swing set! The view of the lake was great and we got to see a couple beautiful sunsets! Carol was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. She even called us right away when one of us accidentally left something at the house. We will definitely be staying here again!

The Perfect Family Reunion Getaway

This cabin was the perfect getaway for our family reunion. The attention to detail left for the guest was above anything we had ever encountered, and we travel a lot. We were treated like royalty, and if you had forgotten anything the host was there to help provide at any time. From booking to checking in to check out customer service for this place and the property and itself with all its amenities was amazing and will definitely be booking again for our next family reunion. First off, a great home. Good workable spaces to accommodate a large number of people, lots of places to hang out together or spread out. Also great amenities and extras I never hoped for. Fishing poles and a campfire kit with everything you need for s’mores. Very homey and well thought out. We had a wonderful time, thank you!

This cabin was hands-down the cleanest rental we've ever stayed in — and we rent 4–5 vacation homes every year. Every corner of the house was spotless, fresh, and clearly cared for with pride. It instantly made us feel comfortable and at home - it felt more like a home than a rental. We’ve stayed in many rentals over the years, but this one truly stands out for its cleanliness, comfort, and charm. The cabin was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. You can tell the hosts put real care into creating a space that feels both welcoming and special. It is clear Carol genuinely wants guests to have a wonderful experience, and it shows in every detail of the cabin. Fully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, every item you would need for outdoors, plenty of household supplies, games, puzzles, abundant parking, and charming rustic touches throughout. At night we spent time unwinding by the firepit, watching the sun go down over the lake, and making S’mores with the kit left for us in the kitchen along with other goodies. It is the kind of personal hospitality you rarely find. Carol is an exceptional host! The location was peaceful and private, with minimal traffic. We didn’t end up using the hot tub, but I looked inside, and it was spotless and crystal clear. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat, this cabin is it. We are already planning our next trip back. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

Perfect Vacation Home for Families!!

We had the pleasure of staying at this property from June 15th-19th and couldn't have been more impressed with the home and amenities! We were taking a family vacation with 5 adults and 3 children, so we wanted to find a place where we could spend quality time together without feeling crowded. This house could not be more PERFECT for family or group trips! The layout separates the sleeping spaces, while still maintaining a cozy but spacious atmosphere with large living room and dining room spaces. The house was extremely clean, and the owner provided just about every amenity we could think of! Let's just say, if you forget to pack something you think you might need, they likely already have it in the house for you. We loved grilling out on the blackstone grill, and the kids enjoyed fishing off the dock which is just a short walk across the road. We had a great time taking the kayaks out on Lake Cherokee, and there was a marina just a short drive down the road that offers boat rentals as well. We had a brief issue one of the days with the air conditioning and internet going out, but the owner immediately responded and got it fixed right away for us. Overall, the great customer service, location and beautiful property made our stay a very memorable one! We look forward to visiting again soon!

A must see!

My family and I stayed here over thanksgiving and upon arrival it was easy to see that we had made the right choice! This property has everything and more. Pictures don’t do this place justice it was such a nice place and had such great amenities. My family of 9 fit comfortably here and there was so much to do and see. Host was great and responsive and provided everything needed for a perfect stay! We have hopes of returning here again soon!

Beautiful home

We stayed for a week in October and we had a great time. The owner was very responsive, the home was exactly as described and was very clean. We enjoyed the views of the lake and the lake access. Home is in a quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this house and will be back again!

Perfect House for Girlfriends Weekend

This house was wonderful. It was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. Better than any other house we have stayed in before. It's in a beautiful quiet location and near everything we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again.
