Cozy, clean and quiet studio in the heart of the best neighborhood in NYC! Great bars and restaurants just outside the door and historic Tompkins Sq Park around the corner! Shared roofdeck, washer/dryer in the basement.
Apartment is comfy and cozy with lots of natural light. And conveniently located within a short :10 min walk to subway station, Target, and Trader Joeâs. Mike is an excellent host and very responsive. Would definitely return.
This property is an absolutely ideal location - within walking distance to parks, the river, restaurants, bars, cafes, the library, busses, subway, you name it! The apartment comes fully furnished and provides anything you need, come with just your clothes and you will be set for months! The property manager is incredibly friendly and responsive. The street is quiet and green, and it just the perfect studio to come home to.
The East Village Studio is a well-located oasis in New York City. The apartment is clean, uncluttered, and has all the creature comforts. The happy plants are fun to care for and enhance the soothing, earthy decor. The owner thought of details such as a hand steamer and discreet fitness and meditation amenities. I truly enjoyed my stay. A fantastic, unexpected bonus is all the green space available footsteps awayâTompkins Square Park and many lush community gardens open to the public. Everything about this place has a lot of soul. I will recommend this gem to friends traveling to NYC and hope to stay again in the future.
Overall a 5 star place to stay! Great location- you can walk to anywhere in the East Village. Itâs also right next to a bus stop and maybe a 10 minute walk to a subway station. Itâs a fourth floor walk up. Very comfortable and homey. The building is quiet; I never heard the neighbors. I had all kitchen items I needed (there is no microwave though). The bed is comfortable. There are also some lovely house plants!
Laundry is in the basement, and there is a laundry card that you can call the company to add money on it.
I stayed during the month of May, so the temperature was pleasant just by using the fan and opening a window. If you go during the summer or winter though, I would ask about heating/cooling options because I donât think the A/C unit on the wall was functioning at the time of my stay.
The apartment does have its little quirks just like any place in NYC- the shower faucet might be due for an update, but still completely functional.
I would absolutely stay here again.
The host was always available by phone to answer any questions.
Mikeâs apartment was wonderful it has lots of natural light and the plants are a great touch. Mike was great at responding quickly and very accommodating. The one thing I had an issue with was knob to adjust the temperature on the shower constantly was falling off. The apartment doesnât have a microwave but that wasnât an issue for me at all. Overall I had a great stay and with I could have stayed longer!!!
