Step into a lovingly restored 1970s hand-built log cabin where rustic charm meets modern comfort. Set on nearly an acre of evergreen forest, this semi-private retreat is designed for relaxing, unwinding, and reconnecting with nature.

Main Floor & Primary Suite
The main level features a sunken living room with exposed log beams, hardwood floors, and cozy seating. Enjoy meals in the dining area with a unique “antler bar,” or cook in the fully equipped kitchen. The Primary Suite offers a king bed, reading chair, and a spacious bathroom with in-unit laundry.

Upstairs Loft & Bedrooms
Upstairs, an open loft provides a quiet reading nook and a small futon chair that folds out to accommodate a smaller guest. Two inviting bedrooms—the Tulip Room and the Tree House Room—each feature queen beds and peaceful treetop views.

Outdoor Living
Outside, gather around the campfire pit, dine at picnic tables under the trees, or fire up the BBQ. Located just minutes from local beaches, parks, and trails, this cabin is ideal for romantic getaways, nature retreats, or creative escapes.


Camano Log House – House Rules & Policies

We want your stay to be relaxing, safe, and enjoyable. Please review and follow the house rules below.

Booking Requirements
A valid government-issued ID matching the reservation is required within 24 hours of booking.
All guests staying on the property must be listed on the reservation.
Reservations may be canceled if required information is not provided.
We prefer guests with prior vacation rental experience. If this is your first stay, we’re happy to connect and help you prepare.
Occupancy & Property Use
Maximum of 7 guests.
No parties, events, or unauthorized gatherings. (The Gather Barn is booked separately.)
No subletting, third-party bookings, or commercial filming without prior approval.
At times, you may see maintenance staff or property workers on-site.
Pets
No pets allowed due to owner allergies.
Unauthorized pets will result in a $500 per day fee, plus additional cleaning costs.
If an exception is ever granted in writing, pets may not be left unattended in the home at any time.
Smoking & Safety
No smoking, vaping, or illegal drugs anywhere on the property.
Any evidence or lingering odor of smoking will result in additional cleaning fees—guests are responsible for fully removing all signs and smells.
No candles, incense, fireworks, or open flames.
No hair dyeing, glitter, or messy projects that may damage the home.
Please treat the logs, furnishings, and surrounding trees with care.
Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.
Please be respectful of neighbors and keep noise to a minimum.
Parking
Maximum of 2 vehicles per booking.
Additional vehicles or boats require prior approval and may include a fee.
Park only in designated gravel areas—do not park on the septic field.
Septic System (Important)
Only flush small amounts of toilet paper.
Do not flush wipes (even “flushable”), grease, chemicals, or other items.
Septic systems are sensitive and common on the island—please use care.
Utilities & Amenities
Standard utilities are included.
Propane woodstove must be turned off when leaving or overnight.
Excessive propane use may be billed.
The internet connection and equipment must remain plugged in and powered on at all times—please do not unplug or reset routers or devices.
We are not responsible for power, internet, or utility outages.
Cleaning & Care
Cleaning fee covers professional cleaning between guests.
Please return items to their proper place and leave the home in good condition.
Additional cleaning services may be arranged in advance.
Check-In / Check-Out
Check-in: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Check-out: Before 11:00 AM

Check-out checklist:

Place used towels in washer or tub
Remove used bed sheets and leave on beds
Bag trash/recycling and place on back porch
Start dishwasher and a load of towels
Turn off thermostats (leave dining room on medium in cooler months)
Turn off propane woodstove and all lights (leave porch lights on)
Lock all windows and doors
Clean BBQ area and return tools inside
Message host upon departure
Outdoor Use & Firepit
Follow current local fire regulations before using the firepit.
Clean BBQ after use.
Internet & Entertainment
High-speed internet and Smart TV available.
Guests may log into personal streaming accounts.
The internet system must remain on and connected at all times.
No refunds for outages.
Liability
Guests are responsible for their actions and personal property.
The owner is not liable for injuries, weather events, outages, or other unforeseen circumstances.
