This handcrafted log home was lovingly renovated to combine rustic charm with today’s modern comforts. Updates include a refreshed kitchen, baths, laundry, front and back porches, and carefully sanded logs inside and out—preserving the unique character of the cabin. Next on our list: replacing a few more windows, adding a fence along the back, and enhancing the 1,200 sq ft shop space.

I chose this neighborhood because it perfectly captures the feeling of getting away from it all. Camano Log House sits in a serene, semi-private setting where you can truly unwind, gaze at the stars, and enjoy the natural beauty of the island. The area offers a peaceful retreat yet is close to beaches, parks, and outdoor activities, allowing guests to explore while still feeling tucked into a lodge-style escape. The property’s vibe, from the lovingly restored logs and cozy interiors to the fire pit and outdoor spaces, fits beautifully with the calm, rejuvenating energy of this neighborhood.

What makes Camano Log House truly unique is its handcrafted charm, serene setting, and lodge-style vibe that feels like stepping into another world. Built by hand in the 1970s and lovingly restored, this deluxe log cabin sits on nearly an acre of beautiful trees, offering privacy, natural beauty, and a sense of timeless magic.

Inside, the sunken living room with soaring logs, beams, and hardwood floors invites you to pause, relax on cozy couches, or curl up in the leather chair with ottoman by the new gas woodstove. The large dining area, complete with a whimsical “antler bar,” opens to a fully equipped kitchen and back Dutch door to the BBQ. Outside, enjoy dining under the trees, gather around the campfire pit, or simply breathe in the fresh air.

Upstairs, the open loft landing offers a cozy nook and “library” reading chair, while the Tulip Room and Tree House Room provide peaceful queen bedrooms and a fresh, modern bathroom. The cabin’s careful blend of rustic charm and modern upgrades—including wall heaters, high-speed internet, and smart TV—ensures comfort while preserving its unique lodge feel.

Beyond the cabin itself, the property serves as a magical backdrop for small weddings, music, and art events, with future plans for creative gatherings in the 1,200 sq ft shop.
