Cozy/Cute Tiny House close to wineries, wedding venues & outdoor fun
Tom Dooleyâs Hideout is located at the Gateway to the hill country, just minutes west of Dripping Springs off of hwy 290. Itâs a unique 4 acre property with 5 modern tiny houses that sit on open range with free grazing livestock which occasionally show up as they do not belong to us. This tiny house comfortably sleeps 2 on a queen bed but we do have a sofa/futon that's great for kids. Enjoy sitting on the porch or at the picnic table under the trees to kick back and relax on a cool evening. We do allow pet guests but want to note that there is a $40 fee PER pet PER night so please be sure and include them on your reservation.
Very efficient floor plan and provisions for the necessities. All new construction with modern finishout. Loved the privacy of the location and the bonus was dog friendly.
The property was just as described in the listing. We arrived late on a Friday and everything was perfect! We enjoyed the beautiful scenic views of the property and the quaint town of Dripping Springs. We were there for a wedding and the venue was only a 10 minute drive. We would definitely stay here again.
My friend and I needed a couple of days away to laugh, reflect and refresh. Dripping Springs and Tom Dooleyâs place were perfect. The tiny house was exactly as claimed in the listing. Clean and had everything you needed. Close to all the things Dripping Springs and surrounding areas have to offer. The only disappointment was that the cows didnât come up to the front porch for a visit as depicted in the listing pictures đ We had a wonderful break and would choose Tom Dooleyâs again. đ
Modern and clean cottage with a bedroom area, living area, kitchenette (microwave, fridge/freezer, and toaster oven but no stove or oven), and nice size bathroom with walk in shower. Itâs on a bit of land in a quiet area close to many wedding venues and about 7 minutes from downtown dripping springs. Itâs a great place to stay for a weekend getaway!
3 things that could be improved upon:
1. Adding a curtain or some sort of divide between the bedroom area and living area so that if one person wants to sleep you can block the light from the living room.
2. Adding a dehumidifier fan to the bathroom.
3. Adding more places to hang clothes and towels (more hooks and/or towel racks would be great!)
Clean and cute! Bed was comfortable. Property mgr promptly answered any questions i had. Just a note: I believe the Travis" that i stayed in lists that it sleeps 4 but the couch bed is very small and would only sleep 1 person that is not above 5'5 tall
The property was exactly as advertised. The check in process was easy. It had everything we needed. It was quiet and comfortable. Great for a weekend away. It was close to good restaurants and there is plenty to do in the area.
