Cozy pet friendly first floor apartment. The fenced in back yard allows the four legged guest to stretch their legs off the leash (always keep under your supervision though.) The Mesh WiFi assure a great connection and each unit has an available hard wire connection. There's a wide selection of Keurig pods available for differing tastes. With the keypad entry you don't have to worry about keeping track of a key or who gets the key. Because you can pick the code its easy to remember. With the Roku TV on guest mode you tell it when you are leaving and it automatically log you off of all of your streaming accounts. The super soft microfiber sheets and the luxurious mattress topper make slipping off to sleep easy.
Nice apartment, ideal for downtown visit to St Louis
This is in a great location, close to Busch Stadium and the Arch. Quiet neighborhood, with lots of choices close by. The apartment itself is clean and comfortable, and I would not hesitate to return when returning to St Louis.
I really wanted to be okay with this property, but it had some serious issues and a misleading description. We travelled with our dog and were so excited for the advertised fenced yard. The yard ended up being scattered with trash and the gate was completely broken off so we couldnât let our dog off leash. I moved past the backyard and blew it off as a little deal, but when we got inside, there continued to be issues. There was broken glass all across the kitchen floor that unfortunately our dog found before we did (heâs okay) and my husband had to sweep it up. The cleanliness of the whole apartment was questionable and I felt a bit uneasy sleeping there and showering. There were parts of the molding that were broken off the wall and left with what looked like water damage. I wouldnât surprised if there was mold. The remote for the TV had dead batteries and the thermostat was turned off or changed somehow when we were gone for the day. There was no guest info or check out information either. I was very put off by this place and it takes a lot for me to leave a review (good or bad), but I would avoid this place if possible even if the price seems good.
The stay overall was ok its was pet hair on the furniture and bedding and had a little smell then the neighbors upstairs where a little loud other than that it was good
This property is older but adequately maintained and perfect for our family St. Louis visit. Great location and very affordable apartment in St. Louis. Attentive and accommodating host made our stay just right. We travel with our canine kids and Robert was very gracious in our request. We had challenges with the AC and our host was out to the unit within hours with HVAC support and had the place cooled down quickly. We did anticipate a fenced back yard but it was non-functional fencing.
Great location. Bed was very comfortable. Water pressure in shower was great. Quiet neighborhood. Easy check-in. Only criticism is the heavy walking of the upstairs occupant(s). Nothing the host can do about that, but if you are particularly sensitive to that kind of noise the property may not be a good choice.
My husband and I were in St Louis for a Cardinals game and this little place was perfect for us. The bed was comfy and the place looked exactly like the pictures. It was a great location and we had a wonderful experience! Would definitely stay again in the future.
I grew up in STL but haven't lived there for 15 years. When a cousin wanted to fly in to see a game a Busch I wanted a reasonably priced place near Soulard and this was excellent! Just a few blocks from some of my favorite Soulard bars and a short Uber ride to the stadium. It was a lovely house with easy, plentiful street parking, and I would stay here again anytime.
Stayed 2 nights. Property located among older housing, and this property is older as well. But the neighborhood felt safe with a sense of community. We walked to the Cardinals game and the Arch. The Roku television and Keurig were nice bonuses. Host was very accommodating and responded quickly to questions. As for previous comments about mice, we saw no mice or signs of mice during our stay. As a homeowner myself, I know it is virtually impossible to avoid an occasional mouse, but this is a comfortable clean property with a location with walking distance of city tourist attractions and we were able to bring our dog along for the trip. If we are back in St. Louis, this is the first place I will check for availability.
What was to be a nice family vacation, turned into an absolute nightmare. The day before we arrived, we read a review that there was a mouse infestation in the unit. When we contacted the Host about it, he told us he had never seen that review and that the reviewer was a âprivileged princess.â He said there was an infestation in the fall but it had been taken care of. When we arrived at the unit we were blown away by a strong dog urine smell, dog hair all over the bed sheets and MULTIPLE mouse holes with mouse poop throughout the unit. We also found a missing smoke defector and the one we did find was not working and had no batteries. When we contacted the Host he refused to comment on the mice situation and told us he would put a battery in the next day or we could go get one ourselves. We called VRBO for help. VRBO connected us to the Host on the phone and the Host screamed at us for âambushing him.â We left the unit after the phone call, didnât even stay one night (of our 4 day booking!) and got to our nearest family, 3 hours away in the middle of the night with our young children. We were not going to sleep in that awful place. We also spoke to the neighbors in the upstairs unit. They informed us of the exact same situation and that there were, in fact, mice all throughout the unit. The neighbor generously let us borrow a mouse trap, which is more than the âpremier hostâ offered to do. Unbelievable! The Host would not agree to give us any refund and was vague in his language communicating with us for multiple days. He NEVER ONCE apologized for his disgusting unit or acknowledged that he ruined our family vacation. He continued to say we would get a refund âper the VRBO policyâ but after days of asking what that means, he said we would not qualify for a refund. However, VRBO support informed us that the Host can issue a refund at anytime. The Host refuses to acknowledge the problems at his unit and that he ruined a family vacation. We hope VRBO will hold this Host accountable for his actions and the state of his unit. Avoid this unit at all costs and spare yourselves the nightmare we went through.
Property was clean and roomy enough for us. There is a problem with mice but we only saw one. Kitchen could use some towels for doing dishes and maybe a small dish drainer. Also a cookie sheet or two. Other than that our experience was very good. The neighbor was great for walking our dogs.
We enjoyed our stay in the renovated apartment. We bought our 2 dogs, and it was very dog friendly. It was clean and conveniently located. Our only comment is that the fenced in yard cannot be accessed from inside so it was inconvenient in the rain. We would definitely stay again.
Such a cute and cozy spot! We enjoyed our stay here very much. The location is ideal too because we were only ten minutes from most everything we wanted to do. We traveled with our two kids and two dogs, and we were just a short walk to a nice park.
My partner, our pet, and I all very much enjoyed our stay here! The neighborhood is very walkable with nearby coffee, restaurants, and parks. Our host was very accessible and everything was clean and ready for us upon arrival. We would happily stay here again!
