We enjoyed our fall leaves weekend getaway at this beautiful house. The host did a great job, the home was warm and cozy, and we loved our first time exploring Smith Mountain Lake.

We came to Hudson Haven for our final summer send-off before school starts back up. We loved the home and the location. Extremely clean and the host was excellent with prompt responses to any questions I had. Highly recommend!!

House was perfect for our family … plenty of space. View was beautiful and lovely decks to enjoy that view. Very nice, quiet neighborhood … off the beaten path. Loved being right on the water and able to go out on the lake anytime. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing week at the lake! It was relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed having coffee on the deck, swimming off the dock, kayaking, and the fire pit at the house. The state park was fun and the boat ride at Virginia dare was great.

Great house!

This house was perfect for our family Thanksgiving celebration! Exceptional communication with host, very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable living spaces on all levels both inside and out! We highly recommend considering this location for your next lake get away.

Smith Mountain Lake

We had a great time and the property was perfect for our group of 8. The kids rarely left the dock unless we were out on the lake. They were swimming, kayaking, and fishing all day. We would definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway

This was a great place to stay with amazing views and tranquility! It was so quiet at night and perfect for looking at the stars while enjoying a fire. We managed to see two shooting stars!! Awesome!

Hudson Haven

We all enjoyed our stay. We spent time floating off the dock, paddling kayaks. We also rented a boat and saw more of the lake. The water is a refreshing temperature.

Great communication and check in was easy. The only challenge was traveling with bedding and towels for our whole family that took up a lot of room in the car. The kids loved swimming and jumping off the diving board. The kitchen had most of what we would need and the place was very clean.

Great stay

We had an excellent stay. Very spacious property. The couch in the living room was quite comfortable for pur group during hang out time. Enjoyed using the grill and the gas fire pit. The cove was really pleasant and quiet. The owner is super responsive to quick questions. Would definitely return in the future.

Great vacation home. Lots of space for everyone. Clean and well maintained. Lots to do for everyone and relaxing for ones who didn’t want to do much. Thanks for proving such a wonderful space. Loft area could use a couple of cute hooks since there is no closet space.

Great spot on the lake

We had a great time at the property. The neighbor’s dog likes to come by and was super nice. I would have liked to know prior that there was only 1 roll of TP and 1 roll of paper towels and 1 dishwasher detergent provided for the stay so we could have planned sooner for it.

Best Family Vacation Ever

We had an amazing stay at this property! Beautiful home located in a quiet cove. The house was very well kept and immaculately clean! The large sectional couch was so comfortable! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the dock with free use of kayaks and the paddle boards. They even caught a few fish off the dock! The diving board was also a plus! The host Sarah was very helpful and responded to our questions within minutes. There's a Market Dollar General Store 5 minutes away! We highly recommended this property and plan on returning soon!
