Private modern indoor pool cabin | Dollywood

Located within 10 minutes to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge tourist attractions and 20 minutes to Gatlinburg, Wears Valley and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Private and convenient, Dolly's Splash Pad is a fully equipped, modern cabin featuring it's own heated, indoor, saltwater pool. This in-demand, luxury cabin in a top choice for discerning honeymooners, anniversary trips, couples traveling or family vacations. The layout (one bedroom on main level and one downstairs) makes it ideal for couples or 1-2 small families. This cabin feels secluded and yet is located within 10 minutes of the main Pigeon Forge strip and Dollywood. You can literally hear the Dollywood train in the distance. It is accessed via a private driveway at the top of a hill. Built in 2020, the cabin is equipped with high speed wifi, Smart door locks and Smart TVs to maximize convenience and security.

Top features include: 100% private access to indoor, heated, saltwater pool and outdoor spa. Expansive windows with views of trees and hills in every direction. Dedicated parking area on private driveway. Desk provided for any remote working or distance learning that may arise during your trip.

Things to note:

* The roads leading up to the cabin are easy to navigate, but the driveway is slightly steep and narrow (see photo in listing). It flattens out to a wider parking area. While it can hold more, 1-2 vehicles on the driveway is ideal. Otherwise, you'll need to be comfortable reversing down the narrow, curvy driveway (since there will be limited turning radius at the top) and there is a lot of maneuvering of vehicles.
* There are only 2 bedrooms. One on the main level and one downstairs. Each has a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. There are full sized futon sofas in each room that are more appropriate for sleeping 2 children rather than 2 adults. There is also a queen sized pull-out sofa in the main living area.
* There is no cable TV. But, each television (one in each bedroom and one in the main living area) are Smart TV's where you can log into personal subscribed programs (i.e. Netflix, Hulu, etc) upon arrival.

It was a great house. Everything was clean and good working order. We loved it!! The kids had a blast in the pool. My only critique would be that there was one washcloth and one towel per person for the whole stay, so I had to do laundry every day. There should at least be three washcloths per person and two towels per person.

My favorite property of all those we've stayed in in the GSW! It was very clean with amazing views, great amenities, comfy beds and furniture, good pool temp, and very responsive owner! The pictures do not even do it justice. We definitely plan to come back!

The cabin and location were fantastic! This is our second trip to Pigeon Forge and if we come back we will definitely stay here again. This listing is 100% accurate. My kids, ages 10 and 11 were in the pool within 15 minutes of us arriving and every day thereafter. My only complaint which is actually no fault of the owners- so many people came up the driveway in error, and at all hours of the night, a bit intrusive to us. Its long and steep drive and with my SUV parked there any other car that pulled in could not turn around and leave, the people who pulled in after midnight the last night we were there almost hit my car several times and it took them over 10 minutes to back down the driveway I was nervous they were running off the drive and running over the lights and landscaping. It’s not what I wanted to have to deal with during a quiet, private and otherwise peaceful stay. I would be in favor of a chain across bottom of drive to prevent this, even if it meant extra steps for me coming and going.

Beautiful property! We enjoyed the privacy and views, and the kids loved the pool. One suggestion: include information about the cameras outside and the sound monitoring device inside on the listing information. We weren't notified of this until a week before our stay, but for transparency this should be something guests are aware of before booking.

We all enjoyed our stay, and the Grands loved the pool.Everything was great and very clean. The only little problem was the ants in the downstairs bathroom. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Spring break

This cabin was stunning! Beautiful cabin, quiet area, breathtaking views of the mountains both indoors with the floor to ceiling windows and on the decks, great location, very clean. Indoor pool was perfect, the kids had a blast. Outdoor decks with rocking chairs and a hot tub was ideal to relax and hear the birds. Watched the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the deck! Cannot wait to return! Memorable spring break!

Wow!

This home was great! It was spotless and well equipped with all the kitchen utensils we needed, as well as the supplies for the bathroom and bedrooms. It had everything we needed and great views to go with it. We really loved the pool. It was a comfortable temperature and nice to be able to get into when it’s still cold outside! There’s a full bath in the pool room too, which is great for getting out and cleaning off. The hot tub was great as well, we used it and the pool almost every day. This is close to plenty of things to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Dollywood is a blast too!

Perfect and exactly as advertised

We have stayed in the area before and this was easily the best for us. The pictures are true to the property, and we loved it. Location is perfect for Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg. Technology setup was great, things were labeled, and it was just really comfortable. We will recommend this one to friends and use it again for future visits.

Almost perfect getaway weekend

The cabin was beautiful and nicely appointed. The only thing that let it down was an unmistakable raw sewage smell emanating from the lower level bathrooms. Thankfully we didn’t have guests staying down there or it would’ve definitely been a problem. It did make the pool hard to enjoy unfortunately. I hope they can get it sorted!

Our favorite VRBO ever

From the online listing to our arrival and all through our stay, this beautiful mountain home became one of our favorite VRBOs ever. The listing photos are beautiful and accurate. These folks thought of everything — framed QR codes with links to videos to help guests navigate the futons, labels on everything, this place is perfection. We loved the warm indoor pool and clean hot tub on the beautiful balcony. Highlights were the wall of windows in the master bedroom, gorgeous sunrise views, lovely surrounding town, cozy living room. We’ll stay again!

Hands Down the Best

My family has very high standards, we don’t settle and we only want to rent the best place. We had a trip scheduled in one cabin and did not like it so we found this place on VRBO and decided to switch cabins. Best decision we made, this cabin is the cleanest, nicest place, I’ve never felt more comfortable at a place than I did at this one due to how nice and clean it was. It is beautiful, well decorated, modern, beds are comfortable, hot tub is nice and clean, so is the pool, plenty of room, family favorite. This host knows what she’s doing!!!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We bought this cabin because it felt private, peaceful and was a blend of modern and classic cabin style. And, of course, the indoor pool! A lot of the cabins in the area are jammed side by side with no trees or separation. This one has a private drive up and you can't see many houses around. It's not one of those epic, huge vistas of a view. But, it's got hills in all directions and it's easy to access. You can be on the Pigeon Forge strip and at a restaurant in under 10 minutes. Or hide out for your stay and have every meal delivered. We often work remotely and this cabin has high-speed internet, good cell reception and a nice, big desk. It also feels so cool to walk in the first time and see those huge vaulted ceilings and windows. So, for us, it feels like the best of all worlds.
