Beautiful and spacious 2 bedroom home with elevated deck over-looking majestic Wilson mountain...a wonderful spot for your morning coffee and yoga! Gather around the full kitchen; in the evening, light the Kiva fireplace to enjoy a quiet night or lounge in the hot tub under the stars. Note
Walking distance to Oak Creek and nearby trails, or a 10 minute easy stroll to cultural uptown center for dining, galleries, shopping and spas. Your host is available to offer local insight and suggestions :)
My friend and I had a wonderful time visiting Sedona. We cherished our mornings and evenings on the porch taking in the beautiful views, quiet neighborhood and bird songs. Enjoy!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Desert Retreat. The flat is homey and comfortable. The views of Wilson Mountain off the back deck were amazing to wake up to every morning. The location is a perfect blend of being in the uptown mix, but itâs on the edge of town, so still very private and immersed in nature. Great birding from the deck as well! Skye was very easy to book and communicate with. I wouldnât hesitate to stay here again if we ever return to beautiful Sedona.
Excellent views from the back deck and hot tub. Only a few block walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Communication with mgnt company was easy. Owner lives in one of the other units, was nice having him onsite for quick questions. Beds are the most comfortable we've ever slept in!! As pictured. Would definitely stay again!
Great location for exploring uptown Sedona and surrounding area. Place is quirky and felt like home, but small things werenât quite up to the listingâs expectations
Loved everything about this place. Most especially enjoyed the deck with that stunning red rock view. Couldn't get enough! The space was cutely decorated and homey. It's walking distance to shops, restaurants, and hiking trails. Wished we could have stayed longer and would recommend to others visiting the area.
We loved our stay here. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the brewery. Beautiful view from the shaded back porch and nice and sunny on the front patio.Quiet neighborhood. Really the perfect location and 20 min drive from basically all the hikes we wanted to do.Kitchen was missing a few essentials like sheet pans and a veggie peeler. Most things in the kitchen were older but in good working order. However washing machine was out of order on our visit which we wished we had known - we packed very light for this trip. Two decent sized bedrooms with averagely comfortable beds. I personally love a good feather pillow so I was happy. Sheets were crisp and clean. We did notice the bathtub faucet needed repairs but it was so nice to have 2 bathrooms!! Lovely view from the shower! We loved having the extra hang out spaces that you dont get with a hotel room. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking and while it isn't for the sole use of this unit, we were the only ones that used it.Skye was welcoming and popped over the fence to say hello which was great. The
Perfect cottage with amazing porch views of the Sedona red rocks. We even had morning visits of a Javelina pack (wild pigs) feeding in the grass!
Walking distance to all the shops and easy drive to many popular stunning hikes! We did Devils Bridge- Cathedral- and the hangover trail.
Owner was nice enough to mention all the trails within the neighborhood of the house to try too!
Hot tub was nice secluded, clean, and hot!
It's a great location with beautiful views! The decor is very eclectic but we love that style. Very quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend!
We loved our stay. A great location and a charming spot. It was a wonderful place to rest and recharge after several busy days on the road. Close to everything.
Pros: amazing Red Rock view from balcony
Close to shopping
Owner on-site for any issues
Close to trails
Cons: lacked in cleanliness. Lots of dust.
Outdated appliances/fixtures/etc.
Balcony railing is very low
Hot tub is NOT private
We arrived a little late and unfortunately walked into some maintenance issues. Upon contacting the manager, she was able to send the owner over who lived on the bottom floor. 1 issue was resolved immediately and the other had to wait till morning. In the ad this appears to be a single home, that is not the case. Its essentially a quadplex. Parking for this unit was a little tight to enter when the neighbor was in their spot but had plenty of room to unload when you got to your spot. Unknown to us, as the listing didn't specify, the hot tub is shared for the units so one day it was not even available for use during the time we set aside in our day to enjoy it. This was a major disappointment as the hot tub was one of the main things we looked for when booking. Yard/tree maintenance lacked. The walls or floors are apparently paper thin. I can assure 4 ladies all 37+ years old were not excessively loud yet the manager got a noise complaint from a neighbor and we were asked to keep it down. Had we known this was a quadplex when booking we would have booked elsewhere as this is why we didn't stay in a hotel. We were merely talking and laughing and enjoying our conversation. This definitely put a damper on the mood. If you are looking for a PRIVATE spot, this isn't it. I also dont recommend this for a group. If you just need a place close to town to retreat to after your long day, this is the perfect place.
This was a great VRBO. The view and location were amazing! I have a three star on the cleanliness because of dirty dishes, cooking utensils and coffee press. Other than those things we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Skye was an amazing hostess and easy to get ahold of for any of our needs.
Absolutely fantastic stay! From the wood burning fireplace, to morning coffee watching the sunrise on the mountain side on the deck, to having a beer in the hot tub at night star gazing!! All necessary amenities to make yourself feel like your a local living at home in Sedona!!!
