4 Newbold Square unit 4, Newbold Square - A quiet, well maintained town home close to the beach, downtown shopping and restaurants, what more could you ask for! As you enter the unit you access a flight of stairs to a spacious and open, living, kitchen and dining area. Off of the dining area is a deck with wonderful views of Silver Lake. Such a beautiful space to relax! This floor also includes a master bedroom and bathroom. From the kitchen area you access the second flight of stairs to another two bedrooms, a full bathroom and the loft. Such a roomy town home, enough space for everyone. The complex is located off of Scarborough Ave Ext. approximately 4 blocks to the beach via a footbridge which crosses over the lake to Stockley Street in South Rehoboth.

Guests have access to the community swimming pool just steps from the unit. The complex pool is open from-10AM to 7PM.

The unit is located on the second floor and includes off street parking for 1 car + overflow (first come first serve, not guaranteed).
This is a non smoking unit and pets are not permitted.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $157.50.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

The home was comfortable and clean. Decorated nicely. Beds could use memory foam toppers. Great for 4-6 people. Silver Lake is beautiful.

Great property in great location

This is our second time staying here. The condo is very comfortable and in a great location. You can walk to everything. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. The patio with view to the lake is great and a beautiful place to relax.

Our stay was amazing! The location was such a quick car ride to the beach, and the property came with everything we needed for 2 young families with 3 small kids (washer/dryer, great AC, spacious rooms, etc.) The community pool also was a big hit and only a few steps down from the apartment. We would love to be back in a few years, we just have to wait until the younger babies are a little larger as the property had floating stairs that the 1 year old could fit through. We are looking forward to staying again in a few years!

Great location and rental manager

Loved the location for family. Lovely pool; across from 2 very nice playgrounds and Turtle Bridge is wonderful! It is an easy 5-6 block walk to the beach and Convention Center. The neighborhood is lovely. Unfortunately the unit was not completely clean when we arrived. But the layout worked well for us with our daughter’s family upstairs and my wife and I downstairs. I think for the price toilet paper/ paper towels should be included as we traveled from very far to get there.

A bit farther and outdated than indicated...

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property’s description as a well-maintained condo close to the beach, downtown shopping and restaurants is a bit deceiving. The property is approximately 1-mile from the downtown area, which made for more than a jaunt when walking to-and fro everyday. The walk, however, had a beautiful bridge area full of turtles and fish in the waterway. As for the property itself, the condo has not been updated since the 1980s/1990s and both toilets leaked when flushed... with the upper level having notably poor flushing. The refrigerator/freezer was also less-than-clean so we felt the need to wash the ice trays, etc. before use. The entry into the property has a steep, narrow staircase to access, which made for a challenge when moving the larger suitcases. The price is excessive compared to other properties in better condition and more centrally located. The biggest dissatisfier was the $1,000 security deposit required in cash or money order to the property management company (we question what in that property could have even cost $1,000)...I was told I would receive an email receipt and never did... so we are eagerly awaiting the return of our deposit.

Hey Chad, Thank you for your review. The paperwork for your security deposit is being processes, so you should receive that any day. The reason we charged the security deposit was due to the timing of the rental - different groups like to rent for the Memorial Day weekend. Our first goal in representing owners is to make sure rentals are taken care of, and we do appreciate the condition you left the property. Thank you again for your feedback.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great pool and access to pickle ball courts at school adjacent. Would suggest bedding updating and carpet replacement. Also should note that the unit is upstairs and that stairs are very narrow for anyone with mobility issues.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Newbold Square. The location was great because it was quiet and away from the crowds. Our condo was a good size for our party of 4 and baby. Sitting on the deck after a swim in the pool was an added incentive. We would rent this unit again!
