We would like invite you to enjoy our home as your upcoming vacation destination. Come watch the sunrise, sunset and the waves dance on the beach from multiple decks, the screened porch or on the comfortable couch. An oasis awaits at your private pool and hot tub. The Rodanthe Pier is only a block away.

The house also offers an outdoor shower, fish-cleaning table, carport with a picnic table.

On the first level, Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, deck access and a TV. Bedroom #2 has queen bed, a TV, and a DVD player. Bedroom #3 has a queen bed with a twin trundle, TV and a DVD player. A hall bath is close to the laundry.

Island Time impresses on the top floor living area with beach views, tall ceilings, comfortable furnishings, a full bath with a tiled walk-in shower. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, a nearby dining area, and access to a screened porch. A large, furnished sundeck provides amazing views of the beach. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and access to a sound-side deck for admiring the beautiful sunsets. The quiet and safe neighborhood roads provide a walkable beach access for everyone and should make Island Time your top vacation pick.

Things to know:
Cleaning Fee of $150 includes bed linens (bed's made) and bath towels.

A private pool will be available for guests to use from April to mid October.

Maximum of two dogs allowed per stay with $150 fee per dog per week.

This property is managed by Steve and Debra Franklin.

Parking: Please park in the driveway, maximum 4 vehicles. Parking on the lawn is not allowed as this may cause damage to the home's septic system.
Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires an unique code to enter. This code is provided prior to your stay and is reset after each guest's vacation.

You must be 26 years or older to rent this property.

We had a wonderful first trip to Rodanthe. The house was perfect for our family. There are a lot of stairs. That isnt a negative just something to be aware of when booking the property. The house was as described. Kitchen had everything we could have wanted. Host commmuncated key information before the trip and effectiveyl through out the week. We would definitely book again!

We lived our stay at Island Time! Felt like a beachfront property with the proximity to the beach making it easy for members of our family to go back and forth. The beach was quiet and relaxing ! The pier was close for a quick drink or ice cream ! The pool was a great size with plenty of room for everyone. It did have some bugs and was a little dirty but Steve promptly addressed this ! The ice cream truck was fun for the kids to run out for a fun treat !!! We also love sunrises and could watch from the deck or the beach !!!We ate in most days and the kitchen was great …had all we needed. House was comfortable for the ones from our group who wanted to relax more inside. Thanks for a great family vacation !!!!

Clean- nice view of ocean- nice pool- very well stocked kitchen. As with most beach homes- lots of stairs. A little difficult for anyone with physical limitations. Host was very helpful, and quickly answered my questions even before arrival.

There were so many spiders and earwigs throughout the house, the couch was well worn and the pool was filled with debris upon arrival. Overall a disappointing experience. For the first time we brought no beach chairs or an umbrella because every other vacation the property had them. There were no pool chairs or beach accessories available. A few upgrades or a little freshening up would made a big difference.

We are so sorry that you didn't have a great experience. It is very important to us that our guests enjoy our home. I wish that you had communicated with us about your concerns so that we could address them. We have contacted OBX Pest Control so that they can slide by the house and treat for insects. I know the weather was very wet last week, perhaps the rain drove them inside. There should have been furniture by the pool including a table with 4 chairs, 4 lounge chairs along with a few single chairs. We have never advertised providing beach chairs, umbrellas etc but do provide information on a reliable rental company in Rodanthe. Our couch is older but we have not replaced it since it is so comfortable. We take your comments seriously and will evaluate our home at the end of the season. Thank you for your feedback. We had an awesome vacation in this home. We loved the pool and the house has all the amenities you could need and is super close to the beach. Very clean. Plenty of yard for the dogs. Beds are comfortable. We would definitely love to come back!

Awesome home and location!

We loved our stay . The area is beautiful and the house was perfect. Had everything we needed

I would 💯 stay here again. The house is like being at home . The beds are super comfortable. We were able to bring our little dogs and had our very own pool , which was so nice and a hop skip and a jump from the ocean . Also the local coffee shops and restaurants are very close .

Beach Bliss!

The home was exactly as listed. The layout is perfect with plenty of space inside and out. It was very clean and well kept. We used a local company that delivers and picks up beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach cart. This was a great way to haul everything back and forth to the beach.

Wonderful family vacation home

We had a wonderful family vacation renting this home. It is close to the beach. The house has everything you'll ever need to make your Rodanthe visit the best ever. The owners are lovely and very easy to contact. They are on top of everything do everything to make your visit the best. The area is very laid back and close to great restaurants.

Summer Fun!!

We had a wonderful stay. We loved Island Time, it was perfect for our family of 6 and doggie. We loved the pool, hot tub, decks, and chairs. Also, labeling the light switches is brilliant!!! We had a perfect vacation and everyone had a great time!!!

Recommend!

Island Time was just as great as all of the other reviews stated! Quiet location close to the beach, and convenient to grocery shopping for your week's needs. The house is clean, well decorated, and the beds are comfortable. Probably the most well-equipped kitchen I've seen in a house that size. Steve was super-responsive to messages, and had our one minor issue resolved within an hour. Absolutely recommend!

Excellent experience again

This is the 3rd time my family has stayed at this house as it never disappoints! The house has plenty of space and most everything you'd need for your trip. We especially enjoyed the pool this year as it was so hot and the pool was so refreshing. It is so close to the beach (1-2 min walk), so you can go down to the ocean for a bit and back to the house when you need a break from the sun. The decks are wonderful and we enjoyed the views. Overall, I would recommend this house for location, amenities, the awesome owners, and affordability. Thanks for another great stay!
