LOVED our stay!

We loved our stay at the property, great location and moments from the beach! This was our first time in Ocean Isle Beach and we will definitely be back to stay at this location! Very clean, I wasn’t sure if we needed towels for baths (it could have been in the description and I missed it) but they do have fresh linens, including towels for you upon arrival! Don’t miss out on this property, we are already planning our next trip!

Great Family Beach House

The house and location couldn't have been better. The hosts seemed to have thought of everything, especially for people traveling with small kids. My wife and I had our expectations exceeded and are already planning to book our next beach trip here.

Great place!

Super cute, comfortable beach cottage! Our family had a wonderful weekend at Nauti Pines. Really easy walk to the beach, kitchen fully stocked for cooking, also close to good take out! We enjoyed rocking on the porch and had the most relaxing weekend. Definitely recommend and would stay here again :)

We had a great time at this home. Great location to the beach and they had extra items for us to use like beach chairs. Minor hiccups with the bed sheets and towels but quickly handle with the home owner. This place basically had everything you need to a awesome stay on Ocean Isle.

Great Place to Stay in Ocean Isle

There are so many reasons to stay in this house including the beach items that the owners provide and the close proximity of the beach. It's very comfortable. There were a couple of minor cleanliness issues that I will address with the owners but nothing that made our stay untenable.

Great little house for a small family. Location is super convenient with the beach access right across the street. Perfect place to stay with young kids with all the things that are provided at the house for children. All the updates to the house are very nice. Clean. Comfy beds. Family getaway

This house could not have been any cuter. Had everything we needed plus some! We have two kids under four and the owners provided ALL the kid stuff. Perfect walking distance to the beach, beautiful porch to rock on once the kiddos were asleep. Literally the perfect beach cottage. We will be back for sure.

Awesome location

The house is not the Belle of the Ball but it definitely serves the purpose. Super close walk to the beach. Kitchen was fully stocked. Outdoor shower has hot water and was the best part! Pretty much everything you need. I’d bring more beach toys if you have toddlers but overall, very well kept house.

Perfect house for us

Our family of 5 stayed at this house for the first time this year. As mentioned in the listing had chairs for the beach, toys for the kids, monitors for the infant, and everything else we needed. This made packing much lighter and easier. The “off cycle” check in was great as allowed for a much easier drive in. Beach access is right there and made for easy trips to and from the beach. Inside is well done, very welcoming and comfortable. This house was perfect for us this year!

August 2021 Great Stay At Nauti Pines

Nauti Pines is appropriately named, its' pine walls and ceilings give one a great feeling about what an original ocean beach cottage was like. It comes with the modern amenities one expects and is beautifully decorated plus very well furnished. It is equipped with all one needs for cooking for the family and is close to great grocery stores/ local fish markets. The windows allow for lots of light and views to the ocean from the front of the cottage. You would have a tough time beating the close ocean access and sitting on the porch enjoying the breeze. A very cute beach house with a close walk to a public beach access. The owners have gone to great lengths to make sure you have all you need- kitchen is well stocked, comfy living area, TV’s in every room, sound machines in bedrooms, two coffee makers, outdoor grill, bikes, beach chairs/ umbrellas, washer/dryer, books and games and beach toys. They thought of everything!! There is an outdoor hot/cold shower and hose to rinse off. There is only one bathroom so if there are more than 4 people it might feel tight and there are no closets (but plenty of drawers) Would also suggest the same blinds for the front bedroom as the back two for privacy and less light for sleeping. Great outdoor space but house is on a corner next to public beach park so there is not much privacy when outdoors If that matters to you. Overall a great place and love that they restored an older beach house into a warm and inviting place. Pictures are very accurate of the house. Owners are extremely responsive. We throughly enjoyed our stay!!

Small ButWonderful

Since there are no current reviews for this property I thought I would leave a detailed one. The house is located about 1.2 mi east of the traffic circle where you enter OIB which puts is off the "beaten path." Plenty of room to park in front of the house with fresh gravel so you don't have to park in sand or mud. There is a new home being built directly behind this one which is still in the framing stage. There is some new landscaping with a new ground level deck with 4 large adirondack chairs and a porch swing There is a gas grill just off the end of the deck (note: the igniter does not work so bring something to light the grill). Once you get up the stairs to the entrance there is a nice size upper deck with a small table and chairs to eat outside. There are 4 rocking chairs. There is a new outside shower with a good privacy enclosure with hot and cold water and plenty of shelf space and hooks. In addition to the shower head there is a hand held spray. It was great to have a second shower. There is a utility room downstairs which has the washer/dryer, two bikes, beach chairs, umbrella , boogie board, etc. Checkin was easy using the touchscreen lock, When we entered the house the first thing we noticed was the LACK of the musty moldy smell that you see in so many beach homes. There was a pleasant fragrance and the inside was immaculate. Everything was clean and well organized. I would note that this is a SMALL property with a small but VERY well equipped kitchen and a small living area. There is a dining room table with 6 chairs available. So yes it is small but hey--this is the beach--you are not supposed to stay inside! Bedrooms are small and no closets but there are hooks to hang things. Beds are VERY comfortable. There are curtains and shades so you can block the light out and sleep late if you choose.. There are fans in each bedroom as well as the living area. There are extension cords in the bedrooms that provide access for electrical devices as well as USB ports. Central air works great, water pressure is fine, plenty of hot water. Loads of plates, glasses, pots, pans, mixing bowls, silverware, utensils, etc. Coffee maker does NOT require filters. Washer/dryer works fine (BYO detergent) TV is a ROKU TV with Netflix already loaded Short walk to the beach. Note that is no ramp or handicap ramp so you have to carry everything up steps. Communication with Chris was great! He was quick to respond and answered all of our question

It has been a dream of ours to own a beach home, where we can make lasting family memories as our two young children grow up. Our operations and design backgrounds provide us with unique skills to provide an efficient and comfortable stay for our family and guests alike.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Nauti Pine cottage is one of the original homes on Ocean Isle. We purchased the home from the daughter of the fisherman who built it. It was lovingly cared for an enjoyed by their family for generations. The majority of newer construction in the area are 5+ bedroom homes, while it is fun to travel with big groups, we were looking for a family home we could enjoy ourselves or with friends and family. Our home is the perfect size to enjoy a relaxing beach getaway. We aim to modernize the home while preserving its charm and beachy vibes for generations to come.

The location of the home was the biggest draw for us. It is located just steps away from the beach access, making beach visits with two young children a breeze. It is situated on the quiet east end of the island, and it is close to town center, the new OIB playground/splash pad, amphitheater and restaurants.
