COPPER CANTINA continues to be a premier rental! Sleeping 25 in beds, COPPER CANTINA has many extras that will make your Frio vacation perfect! The 6 bedroom and a loft + 5 ½ bath home has 3,600 square feet of room ready for your family and friends.
The 2-story home has a very roomy feel the minute you walk thru the front door. The Master and 4 bedrooms have their own private baths. Those bedrooms also have spacious closets and built-in dresser drawers. The game room upstairs has a ping-pong table, game table, and 2 couches. Outside the game room is a loft area with flat screen TV and additional love seat and sleeping. The upstairs covered balcony opens from the loft area. The loft area has the 2nd TV and a couch, sleeping 4 guests. The new 6th bedroom is adjacent to the loft.
The outdoor area is complete with a 2nd refrigerator/freezer and air compressor for your tubes inside the 2-car covered carport. The cabana-covered picnic table, sports swimming pool, full-size volleyball court, horseshoe pit, washer toss pit, large BBQ pit, fire pit, plus extra seating and sunning furniture. A new outdoor TV has been added to the patio! Copper now has a playscape for the little ones to enjoy. The sunset views are an added bonus!

To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guest the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 4 weeks prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available.

What to Bring.
LINENS: Bring linens and pillow cases mattress covers, pillows, blanket/bedspread are provided.
TOWELS: Bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels and pool towels.
CHAIRS: Bring folding or sack chairs to take to the river. The chairs at the rental should not be removed from the property.
PAPER GOODS: Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, plastic cups, plastic ware.
SOAP: Dishwashing, laundry and hygiene products
BBQ: There are BBQ cooking utensils, but remember to bring charcoal/lighter/matches.
Your kitchen is complete with dinnerware, silverware, glasses, basic cookware, coffee pot, microwave, pots & pans.

We provide:

We had an older group of guys stay for a weekend for golfing and relaxation. This property was great for a group of 9 and would definitely handle much larger groups. The house was clean and comfortable. We would gladly stay here again in the future.

We are a blended family – my kids, her kids, our grandkids, my mother-in-law, and brother-in-law – and this home had the space, comfort, and charm to make everyone feel welcome and relaxed.The house itself is beautifully set up for both fun and togetherness. We loved that the Frio River is just a short distance away, which made it easy to spend time on the water, but we also enjoyed having the private pool right there at the house. It gave us the best of both worlds – floating in the river during the day and unwinding by the pool whenever we wanted.One of our favorite memories was the night we grilled burgers on the back patio and played family bingo under the palapas. It felt like the perfect mix of Texas Hill Country charm and family fun. We even took our family pictures under the covered garage area – it was the perfect backdrop for capturing memories we’ll cherish forever.The Copper Cantina has plenty of space, and everything was well thought out for large groups or families like ours. The kitchen was well-stocked, the bedrooms were comfortable, and every corner of the property felt clean and welcoming.If you’re looking for a place where your whole family can relax, laugh, and make memories, this is it. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway spot, and we can’t wait to come back!

Excellent location with easy access to all activities in and around Concan. This property easily accommodated 7 adults and 6 children, with room to spare

Beautiful home! Clean, spacious, and lots of amenities. From the pool to the volleyball court to the s'mores made around the firepit, This home had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our annual frio trip with friends and family! 10/10 reccommend.

This year we moved to Copper Cantina and Boondocks which is right next door to house 11 families-22 Adults and 19 kids! SO much space for us to all spread out! There was plenty of shade and the pools were great for our kids! Missy is always so great to answer any questions we had!

Good, but not great

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Copper Cantina was a beautiful home that my family and I mostly enjoyed. We loved that there was a fence around the pool, it felt very safe for all of the kids. We also appreciated the air compressor to fill up the floats in the car port. There was also plenty of seating and space for everyone. The kids also enjoyed the game room. However, some of us were traveling from out of state and very far away. In the future we would never choose a place that you need to bring your own bedding, hand soap, dish soap, sponges, and toilet paper. It would have also been helpful to have a list of the pots/pans/appliances that were available in the kitchen to save us from packing so much. Additionally, room darkening blinds or curtains would have been appreciated, again especially with such small kids. The pool also had a large hole in the floor of the pool where the sealant was cracking. The edges were sharp and pieces were coming off in the water. We had to make sure none of the kids swam in that area. Also, bring cash if you plan to drive down to the parking area to post up for the day.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Copper Cantina was the perfect home for our group of several families. It has 6 bedrooms plus a loft and 5 of those bedrooms each have their own full bathrooms which was super convenient. The house is big and spacious. The rooms are spread apart enough that you don’t hear anyone in another room. I loved that it has lots of places for our group to sit together both inside and outside of the home. We all loved the pool and cabana and spent most of our days out there grilling on the huge grill. Our 4 kids ages 6-12 really enjoyed the loft upstairs as well as the game room. Because of this Texas heat, the rooms were a bit warm, but the ceiling fans helped a lot. There is also a built in air compressor under the carport where we were able to quickly fill up our pool floats and inner tubes. The house is conveniently located within walking distance to the House Pasture Cattle restaurant which had good food and a drive thru where we often picked up ice and margaritas! It’s also less than a mile from the river access. We will definitely stay at this house again.

The Nest of birds in the fireplace was quite loud and annoyinng and the scorpions were out of control and everywhere.Love Frio Vacation Rentals and have used yall for years. We obviously will return for Frio Fun :)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this house specifically for the pool, especially because the frio has no water. From the moment we checked in they told us the previous guest had complained about the water being cloudy but the pool guy had came out and it would clear. It only got worst and worst each day that passed we submitted photos pool guy came out again and our pool was dark green. Everyone around us had beautiful clear water except for us, it was huge disappointment. Still waiting to hear back from owners to see what they were going to do about it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ve been visiting the Frio river for many years and look forward to our family gatherings. This is the first year we encounter problems with our home, well with the pool. Pool’s floor was broken and many in our party ended up cutting their feet. Overall and excluding the pool issue our stay was a good one.
