Bring the whole family and get your toes in the sand! This is a charming 1950's oceanfront beach house with 8 bedrooms and 4 bathroom, private board walk to the beach, updated kitchen, rocking chair porch and the most beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic ocean. This is 2 story home with 4 bedrooms on each floor. In the lower level there is a ping pong table for a little family competition. On the 2nd level you will enjoy a new kitchen with quartz counter tops, an open living area with ocean views and an additional 4 bedrooms.

Additional Notes:
Private boardwalk goes 3/4 of the way to the beach, the last 1/4 is a sandy path to beach. Please do not park directly on either side of the building (septic tanks) or on Palm Blvd; IOP police will ticket - please park behind the half brick wall.

This home has complimentary Cable TV and wireless high-speed internet. All bed linens, towels and starter kit/ toiletries are included. 1 towel set per person is provided. Beach towels and beach chairs are not provided but are available through local Beach Chair and Umbrella Rentals. **** Starter kits/toiletries include small dish soap, small dishwasher detergent, 1-2 kitchen trash bags, 1 roll of paper towels, TP in each bathroom, starter size shampoo, conditioner, lotion, cleansing bar. Keurig Coffee Maker provided.

The kitchen and dining areas were large enough to accommodate cooking and eating in. But the best area was the porch facing the sand dunes and water! Coffee time, reading, games and happy hours were spent on this large comfortable porch!

The private beach access was great. Was easy navigation and egress by all sizes and ages in our group. The property was exactly as advertised and well maintained. Amenities were great. We had a super good communication with management group and their updates were most helpful. I have already recommended this to our friends and highly encourage this property to anyone. Great experience and a great vacation .

Family Time

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family enjoys IOP several times per year. We have stayed in multiple homes and picked an ocean front this year even though it was an older home. This home needs some attention. Upstairs AC could not keep up so maintenance had to bring a portable AC. Outside of house and porches were nasty dirty. We loved the layout and ping pong table. If bathrooms were updated and porches cleaned, we would come back.

It's an older home, but it was very clean and you can't beat the location. It is right on the beach and approximately half way between the park and marina. We could walk directly out to the ocean on a private boardwalk and everything else was a short bike ride away.

Reviewer Comments: Being a local and having rented beach houses my whole life, we found the perfect house for our family to enjoy our son's wedding on the Isle of Palms. This house is well equipped for cooking, with lots of pots, pans, glasses, serving dishes, etc. The open floor plan on both floors was perfect. The porches were big and gave a beautiful view of the beach. It was more than enough room for the 14 that stayed there, with extra room for a few last minute sleepover guests.

Loved that fact!! Very spacious and suited our needs completely. Would highly recommend. We did have trouble with the keyless entry keypad. Battery went dead and rental office never fixed it so we couldn't lock the door. Housekeeping shorted us hand towels but we managed. Overall, wonderful place.

The house and grounds are beautifully decorated, and we add everything we needed for small or large dinner gatherings. The dunes and beach are splendid, and we were able to enjoy nice restaurants on Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island, and tour Charleston as well. Wild Dunes golf courses and Charleston National are great close by golf courses. Wednesday nights at Awendah Green is great live music and food (cash only). We would not hesitate to rent this house again. If anything, it is a bit nicer than the listing portrays it. Our group ranged in age from 27 to 72, and everyone loved it!

We had rented this location about 10 years ago, and it seems updated. There were several broken chairs, but we could work around. Check in/out process was easy. The lower floor at ground level had a bit of a musty odor, but not terrible. The dining space was adequate for our large family. The furniture and fixtures could use some improvement. The beach location, bedroom configuration was just about right for us though. We had a good time.

Reviewer Comments: We rented this house for the # of bedrooms and bahs, for a family reunion. one of the septic tanks was full, and we had to use only 3 of the bathrooms for 2 days. there was a leak under the kitchen sink. All was repaired, and we received compensation for the inconenience of the bathroom situation. Unit was clean. Several lamps didn't work. overall, we would rent again, due to accommodation of br and ba.

Downstairs rooms musty. Most mattresses should be replaced. The foam tops are bad for spines. Kitchen needs a garbage disposal. Bathroom exhaust fans didn’t work. Our outside trash and recycle bins were almost full when we arrived.

Excellent Oceanfront Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, house was super clean and big enough for 4 families. Description was accurate and the view is beautiful. Walk to the beach is easy. House is older but there are no issues with it, and it's a great value! Yard was big enough for games and grill worked well.There were bikes we were able to use, some games, puzzles- all the things that make a great rental!Washer and dryer are new and worked great!There are no screens in the windows. Totally fine- we used the AC, but in April we probably wouldn't have needed to.Would stay again!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Home was comfortable, if a bit rundown. The experience with Wi-Fi was an annoyance. Owner should paint a 1 inch white [or other bright color] strip on the edge of each stair tread for safety and liability protection purposes. The beach access path could use a bit of clearing.
