Si vous venez chez Sullivan, vous voulez voir l'océan, et vous obtenez une vue magnifique et plus encore dans cette charmante maison spacieuse en bord de mer pouvant accueillir 12 personnes. Parfaitement adapté pour accueillir 2 familles, avec 2 chambres de maître avec salle de bain attenante, il y a 3-4 chambres et 2 salles de bain au rez-de-chaussée et deux chambres et 2 salles de bain à l'étage.

Description: 5 chambres (2 suites parentales), 4 salles de bain, 1 et 1/2 cuisines, 1 véranda grillagée, 2 terrasses, 2 douches extérieures avec intimité, grande cour arrière gazonnée, 3e étage et bureau bloqués, A / C central, plafond ventilateurs dans chaque chambre, 4 téléviseurs couleurs, 2 magnétoscopes, 1 DVD, 2 réfrigérateurs, machine à glaçons, 3 micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, laveuse / sécheuse, lits: 3 reines, 1 double, 4 simples. La maison a de nouvelles fenêtres au cours des 2 dernières années. L'extérieur de la maison a été amélioré. Les chambres avec tapis ont un nouveau tapis. Nous avons une belle nouvelle table de salle à manger assez grande pour les réunions de famille, et le salon du rez-de-chaussée a un nouveau revêtement.

Nous n'avons pas d'accès direct à la plage, mais il y a une magnifique promenade de deux maisons en contrebas avec un accès facile à la plage.

Wonderful stay! The inside stairs were a challenge for the older members of our party, but Linda was a fantastic host very communicative and went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice time.

We had an excellent stay! The owner was very accommodating for our check-in and check-out times and the place had a great family beach house feel to it. We will be back again!

Family Visit for Graduation Week

We found the house to be a perfect fit for our family’s needs. There was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well equipped with a second refrigerator on the ground floor that we used to hold drinks. The spiral staircase was a very interesting feature, but it did make it a bit difficult for grandparents to get upstairs in the morning. Throughout the rest of the day, they could easily access the main level by the outside stairs that lead to the patio. All in all, we had a wonderful week celebrating our college grad.

Place is large and lovely

The house is well equipped with linens, kitchen pots, dishes etc. it is spacious and well furnished. Yard is large, could use some outdoor games. Overall, excellent choice for a wonderful family vacation!

Family getaway

Very comfortable for our Weekend getaway. Kitchen well stocked with pot pans utensils but we also enjoyed some area restaurants for takeout. Walk to beach very convenient.

Beach week 2024

We had a good week. The house is roomy with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. It is convenient to beach access. Sullivan's is an easy drive to Charleston. It is too bad the dune trees have grown up to block the view of the ocean.

Guys Weekend

We really enjoyed this property. The location was great, in walking distance of the restaurants on Sullivans. The room layout worked very well for us. The spiral staircase was a bit of a challenge, but not a problem. This house is exactly what you expect for a classic beach house.

Family Time

Location was excellent. Granddaughters enjoyed the board games and loved the beach. The outdoor shower was a big hit. Plenty of space for the family to spread out. Comfortable accommodations for our family. Kitchen was well stocked. Decor a little dated, but it is a beach house! We had a wonderful time.

The Most Considerate VRBO Host in the History of VRBO

Our stay was impeded on day 2 of our stay at the house due to a hurricane. The owner couldn't have been more communicative or considerate. She refunded the entirety of our rental and communicated with us multiple times a day to ensure we safely exited the island. I can't say enough positive things about the owner - great location, great house (HUGE) and extremely clean. We will be staying at the house again - hopefully without a hurricane next time!!!

Family reunion for all ages

The house was ideally located just a short walk from the beach entrance, which made beach access very convenient. Although beach towels were provided, we would have appreciated additional beach equipment, such as working umbrellas, to enhance our seaside experience. The property offered ample space, comfortably accommodating our group of 5 adults, 2 children, and a toddler. However, the spiral staircase leading to the first floor posed a safety concern for both our youngest and our 77-year-old grandmother. Despite this, we had a great time in Sullivan’s Island.

Great stay! Only surprise is the spiral staircase being the only interior staircase. We got used to it and didnt mind it but this probably should be more clearly explained in the house description. The staircase you cannot use is misleading in the photos.

Good but in need of TLC

Overall it was a great location on Sullivans Island and close to Charleston. The home was very comfortable, and the host was very gracious. But there were a few items that needed attention such as a bottom floor sliding glass door that did not lock (there was a piece of wood inside the tract), a bedroom tv that did not work, bathroom light that did not work, and a ceiling fan that was not well attached. While these may seem petty, when you are paying top dollar for a home, the expectation is that everything is in top working condition.

Dated property with water issues

The location of this property is amazing (close to the beach), and there are many bedrooms. Unfortunately, during my week long stay, the street in front of this property flooded twice (12" and 16" of standing water, took over 12+ hours to drain) leaving me stranded as I couldn't get our car out. This was front strong rains (not a hurricane or tropical storm). All this standing water in the neighborhood also leaked into a first floor bathroom.

Property has a nice location. In a lovely neighborhood, although it is clearly the rental property in the neighborhood. Great proximity to beach. We were disappointed that there was no soap in any of the bathrooms. And that a HVAC guy showed up the first day to say he had to turn the heating system on for a 90 minute check. It was 80° outside and we didn’t let him. Also disappointed that there had been a leak in the upstairs bathroom that went through the ceiling of one of the downstairs bedrooms. They had screwed him a metal plate into the bedroom ceiling to cover it. Also disappointed there was no corkscrew! Rugs were really stained. So, it was OK but could’ve been a lot cleaner and a lot less complicated and better equipped

Girls Trip

Overall the check in process was very simple and easy to navigate. We had 6 woman in our group, one pregnant and one who had recently broken her ankle. We were surprised to see an iron spiral staircase was the main way to get up and down the stairs. For our friend who had a broken ankle that was a bit of an issue. She managed by taking the outside staircase up the deck. Not ideal for her. Wish that would have been mentioned so we could have known. The refrigerator had a fishy smell to it, and I think perhaps the party before us cooked fish and the smell definitely lingered. Overall the house was pretty dated but the beds were comfortable, the place was pretty clean considering and lots of fresh towels and beach towels. The only area I wish they had cleaned and taken care of a bit more was the screened in porch. The screens were filthy, to the point where it was hard to see out of a couple. There was also a table on the deck but it had no chairs. Which we thought was odd. They did have a wagon with plenty of beach chairs and that was much appreciated. The walk to the beach was fairly easy and the beach was beautiful. We went into Charleston a few times and the drive there was pretty quick and easy. The house is in a good location to experience both downtown and the beach town. I can imagine if you have small children 3 and under this house could pose a challenge with the staircase but 5 and up I think it would be nice.

Best Vacation House on Sullivans Island

My family had wonderful stay in this beach house. It is spacious, cool, comfortable and had everything we needed for a restful happy week at Sulllivans Island. it is a close walk to the station 26 walkway to the beach and a short golf cart ride to Poe's and Obstinate Daughter.We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back.

Destination Goldbug Family Wedding

Our son and dangler in law were married on Saturday at Destination Goldbug, so our immediate family of 7 adults and one toddler stayed at this lovely home. While the bathrooms are dated, the home has a lot of character and is very beachy, cozy. The bedrooms are spacious and outfitted with very nice bed linens with plenty of extra pillows, blankets, towels, etc. The bedroom and bath have plenty of towel hooks/racks and nice closet space. A full length mirror would be a nice addition. The kitchen is amazing! While somewhat small, it still has ample counter space and the 2 ovens and 2 refrigerators (one is downstairs) are wonderful. The kitchen is also very well stocked for entertaining...plenty of dishes, wine glasses, bowls. pots/pans, basically everything. There isn't a pantry but we stored extra food downstairs in the kitchenette. The screened porch was a favorite hang out for breakfast and evenings as it always had a nice breeze. We had our 20 month old grandson which made the spiral staircase somewhat of a challenge but all in all we would definately stay again and recommend it for others. Thank you for having us.

Great Family Stay

The property manager, Linda, couldn't have been more accommodating and responsive. We came to Sullivan's Island for a family event and the location and room layout of the house were perfect for our needs. Our 6-year-old granddaughter walked into the upstairs living room and said, "this house is beautiful, and I never want to leave."
