Rustic Luxury Along the Illinois River
Our first renovation at Serenidad Ranch, the Colorado House is a completely refurbished rustic country home minutes from Tahlequah. From our king size beds with luxury linens, to our outdoor, screened patio with big screen TV; every space has been designed for your comfort and enjoyment.
Located East of Tahlequah; the Colorado House is 10 minutes from town. We are10-15 minutes from all the Illinois River float rentals and public access areas. The entrance to the new Tahlequah Trails biking/hiking park is also minutes away. The Colorado House is within driving distance to multiple area lakes.
The Colorado House welcomes people of all ages to enjoy our rustic luxury. It is ideal for all sorts of occasions from a couple's retreat to a place to meet and watch the big game. Child friendly, the Colorado House is a great place for get togethers of all kinds. We have two bedrooms with king beds; 1 bedroom also has a twin sleeper chair. Our large living room features two Queen sleeper sofas. There are two bathrooms; one with a tub/shower combo, and the other has a large shower. Our kitchen has all new appliances, along with a new stackable washer/dryer combo. We also have an outdoor grill.
Serenidad Ranch is adding on the amenities in 2022. The historical Tahlequah Gun Club has been refurbished, and we have open shooting dates scheduled. Our most recent project is the renovation of Serenidad Cottage. The original home on the property, we have completed renovations of the cottage, and it is also available for rental. The Colorado House sits across the way from Serenidad Cottage #2981064.

Property was far enough out felt secluded but not far enough felt like had to drive a long ways. House and property were well kept and really nice with everything need to stay comfortably. Would recommend to anybody and stay again.

Great for float trips
We had an amazing time at this little property in the outside of tahlequah! Though we had some issues with the hot water, the host was able to assist us and communicated efficiently. This is a beautiful property!

Weekend oasis
My friends and I had great time staying there. The ranch house had wonderful amenities and was perfect for what we need proximity wise to the river. We would definitely rent it out again.

The cabin was perfect! From checking in to checking out-flawless! The perfect size for our group! So close to the river and other places! Would absolutely stay here again!

Just so you are aware; Bathroom door didn’t lock, and grill didn’t work, found that side door didn’t lock when time to leave But everything else was GREAT! and we definitely enjoyed our stay! Thank you

Gorgeous river mist in the morning
The property was great! The river runs along side so u can see the beautiful mist collecting in the river valley come morning! We saw some critters and had a peaceful cozy stay

Property was very clean and just right for our family outing. The large screened in area with large screen TV was a nice addition. Nice and secluded in a country setting.

Wonderful vacation place.
The property and decor was magazine worthy . Great for a family trip. Everyone really enjoyed our stay, beds were wonderful. Would have liked a gas grill instead of charcoal and a fire pit would make this rental hard to beat! We may go back in the fall.

House was perfect, and just as listed. Had everything we needed plus more. Plenty of room inside and out to explore and relax. Had everything on site that you would need. Would definitely stay again, and hope to in the future.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
Serenidad Ranch has been in my family for five generations. Along with my husband, Alan Chapman and a wonderful group of people; we are renovating the ranch one project at a time. SR has always been a working cattle property. It is home to the Tahlequah Gun Club founded in 1972. We have renovated 3 features on the ranch and are currently working on the fourth.

Our location is one of our most unique benefits. We are East of Tahlequah along the Illinois River, and only minutes away from Hwy 10 and all of the float rentals and public access areas. The new biking/hiking trail, Tahlequah Trails is also minutes away from all locations on the ranch.
