Great location to walk to old Folsom. And to walk or bike to the American River trail and Johny Cash Trail. Nice back year and kitchen stocked with food prep essentials. Easy check-in, propriety as described.

Great home walkable to oldtown folsom

Clean and comfortable home with a private front patio to take meals. Just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants on sitter street. Off street parking and a garage for bikes is great!

It is bigger than it looks at first.

Just about the right distance to the restaurant/bar area. Close enough to walk and for enough away to to be bothered by too much traffic.

Wonderful House!

This is our third stay here. The house is great, super clean, garage for our bike, very comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. Easy check in and out and near all of the awesome Folsom bike trails!

Great short-term stay for family

Our stay at Bonnie’s was fantastic! We have two children (toddler and newborn), a small dog, and my husband also worked from home. All that to say the property had everything my family needed during our two month stay as we looked for a house to purchase. Bonnie was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our rental, including being super flexible about fixing things and coordinating time for the cleaners to come. The neighbor felt very safe and was conveniently located near historic Folsom (lots of restaurants, shops, farmers market, etc), local walking/running trails, as well as a park that my toddler loved! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Fantastic Home

This home was fantastic! It had everything we needed to feel at home! Our dog was with us, so having two areas outdoors made her comfortable too! We enjoyed being in the historic district and within walking distance to town! Bonnie was a great host, and we would definitely stay in her home if we make it back to Folsom!!

Location, location, location

Property is very clean and quaint. Lots of cozy decor and everything you need. 5 minute walk to downtown Sutter street in the heart of Historic Folsom. Two adults and one teen plus one dog-we were all comforable there. Would definitley stay there again. Host is super kind. Thanks so much!

Folsom Cottage

Cottage was perfect. Easy check in, well appointed VRBO close to downtown old Folsom. Quiet area with access to downtown. Great base to explore the Foothills area.

Great House, Location and Very Convenient

First time renting this house in Folsom, we vacation in Folsom a few times each year and ride all of the wonderful bike trails. House is basically brand new, access to the garage with the garage door opener made this our favorite the most convenient house that we have rented in Folsom! Looking forward to staying here again in the fall!

Home away from home

We chose this house because it was so close to family we were visiting. It was just a short walk to the downtown historic Sutter Street with all the shops and restaurants as well. Perfect location. The house was immaculate, which is really important to me. The house was easy to check into and the owner texted me to make sure we had everything we needed. Bonnie was very nice every time we spoke. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The TVs had all the streaming services set up and worked right away. We loved having the garage to park in, very convenient. The neighborhood is historic and beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need from cookware to storage containers, to basic condiments. This really was a home away from home. We plan on staying here every time we visit our family!

My husband and I reside just a few doors down on Mormon Street.

There are two separate homes on this property. The front house is occupied by a long term resident. The Old Town Retreat is accessible by way of the Mormon Street alley behind the front house and has it own private front courtyard, fenced backyard and single car garage.

Some things about us...we are a working couple with a very friendly dog Coconut. My husband Mitch & I both work from home. Mitch is a General Contractor and I am a Real Estate Management and Realtor.

We operate The Old Town Hideaway located at our primary residence as well. We invite you to read reviews on this property to give you a good idea what kind of hosts we are.

We hope you find Old Town Retreat comfortable, convenient and the next best thing to home.
