Litchfield Retreat offers resort-like condo living uniquely located within the quiet neighborhood of North Litchfield Beach coveted for its relaxed character and uncrowded stretch of sand along one of the finest beaches on the east coast.
Positioned directly across from beach access on second row makes it easy to come and go on foot. Carrying your favorite beach provisions is a breeze thanks to the wide boardwalk over low dunes with sloped ramps at each end.
Retreat amenities include the year-round outdoor pool tucked within a tropical courtyard of towering palm trees, central picnic grilling area, outdoor rinsing station along the beach path, wireless internet, three elevators, as well as two coin-operated laundry rooms with trash chutes on every floor.
Bring (or rent) bikes and pedal along the popular Waccamaw Neck Bikeway that passes through this community. Head north to Huntington Beach State Park to see shorebirds and other coastal wildlife inhabiting the fresh water and saltmarsh estuaries. Head south to shop, find great local dining, and explore the charm of Pawleys Island.

Laundry facility, trash chute, elevator service located on every floor.
HOUSEKEEPING / LINENS: All short-term stays include departure clean service, bed and bath linens, and beds made upon arrival. Linens and housekeeping service are additional costs for monthly stays.
LENGTH OF STAY: 7-night minimum mid-June through mid-August. Last minute partial week stays may be considered. 3-night minimum during other times of the year. Monthly winter rental inquiries are welcome.

North Litchfield Beach is easily among the prettiest beaches in South Carolina and is locally prized for its uncrowded, quiet reputation. While it has several public access ways, the entire length of North Litchfield Beach is bordered by a residential community untouched by commercial enterprise. Grocery stores, popular dining venues, and local eclectic shops are conveniently close by however.
The North Litchfield Beach community resides along a bike path that meanders into Huntington Beach State Park where visitors can observe the beauty and wildlife of the Lowcountry sand dunes and wetlands. North Litchfield Beach is contiguous with Huntington Beach to the north and Litchfield Beach to the south, spanning 7 miles from end to end. The beach is characteristically wide with soft white sand bounded by low lying sand dunes and the blue-green ocean.

The Pawleys Island/Litchfield Beach area is known locally as the Waccamaw Neck. Pawleys Island, known for its âarrogantly shabbyâ character, encompasses Litchfield but has its own beach â and island â where it splits away from the south end of Litchfield Beach. The relaxing ebb and flow of the tide sets the pace of our Lowcountry coastal region of South Carolina where getting on Island Time comes naturally.

Locals and visitors alike enjoy surf fishing, deep sea fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, surfing, boating, bicycling, and beach combing â just to name a few. Nationally renowned golf courses abound as well as historic landmarks and plantation tours. Myrtle Beach, only 20 miles north, and Charleston, 80 miles south, make great day trips.
