Lodging includes house with two bedrooms, complete kitchen, dining area, comfortable living room, and computer area. We offer high speed internet, 60" TV with cable, netflix, and peacock. Bathroom with shower and tub, laundry room, enclosed back porch and open front porch great for stargazing. Situated on 1 1/2 acres, ample parking. Hunting, ATV, snowmobile trails directly behind the house. Lock trout stream nearby. Literature rack available showing many local attractions.

Cozy little place in the mountains. Beautiful area and convenient to shopping. The home offers absolutely everything you need for a staycation away from home. Every little detail is covered to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Stargazing is optimal and they even have blankets available for you

Peaceful Getaway

This was our second time there this year. The host is great. He stays in touch and is very nice. I love the backyard visitors at night. And how peaceful it is there. Such a wonderful, cozy place to stay.

Anniversary get a way

Beautiful peaceful place with everything you could possibly need for your get away. The host's are wonderful an leave you a bottle of wine an muffins which were delicious. Will definitely be going back!

Beautiful area & the home lives up to its name!

This is one of my favorite areas in the country for a reason & staying here only added to the experience. The beds are cozy, the house is warm, and there were tons of snacks & a bottle of wine waiting for us! Highly recommend here & will definitely book again when I'm back in the area.

Wonderful location and perfect for a getaway

Hubby and I spent the weekend at this lovely home. Title is 100% accurate, very quiet and cozy. Host has house well stocked ( seriously everything you could need is there!) Very friendly and we enjoyed the recommendation of Orions! Would love to stay again when we visit the area.

Cozy house - convenient location

Richard is a wonderful host! He is very attentive and cares about your satisfaction. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need. There are neighbors close by, but there was enough privacy too.

Close to everything

Really enjoyed the short time here. Worse part was arriving at 1am with slightly bad google maps navigation. The drive way is an immediate right after turning onto Mockingbird lane.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

KEEP LOOKING! DON'T STAY HERE! All counters were dirty. Had to clean all counters before using. Refrigerator was dirty and disgusting. Had to put paper towels down in the refrigerator before putting our food in there. Beds appeared to be slept in. Shower was dirty. The bath towels had hair on them. Bathroom sink counter dirty with hair on it. The water has an awful strong egg smell that makes you sick and smells through out the property. When you first enter this place it seems fine till you start checking everything. We were supposed to be there 3 nights and had to leave the next morning cause I got so sick from the sulfer egg smell plus how dirty we felt staying there. We contacted the owner and he ignored my messages. Owner refuses to give a refund for the nights we didn’t stay. Coudersport is a Beautiful area! This place is not! DO NOT STAY HERE!

There are so many nice things to say, both about this place and the host, Mr. Snyder. -For starters, the listing itself is not only detailed, but very transparent. Everything is spelled out along with suggestions for activities in the area, and even has a list of local events going on along with dates! For example, we stayed April 20th - 22nd and saw there was an antique show going on that we had no idea about. -Although we did not need one, it is also worth mentioning that the house is ADA-accessable as the host has a handicap ramp availabile upon request. -The host was very responsive. He made sure to communicate at least one week prior to the stay to let us know what to expect, how to get to the house, get inside, etc. -We were greeted with fresh-baked muffins and a nice bottle of wine. Very classy, very nice touch. -Everything inside the house is labeled for extra transparency. Need to find dishes? Need to find extra bed linens? All of it is easy to find. -The host has a binder with a compilation of activities, restaurants and other things to do in the area. In addition to this, there are informational pamphlets available for every activity you could imagine, from fishing, to hiking, wine trails, museums and other tourist attractions, so there will always be something you can find to do. Having all this information on hand right inside the house was incredibly useful. -The area itself is very convenient. Grocery stores, restaurants, antique shops, a hospital, etc.

Truly the best location for all of the activities that Potter County has to offer. Also very convenient for shopping and dining. The house is fully stocked with everything you will need to make your stay comfortable.

A wonderful quiet place to stay

This was such a lovely place to stay. Instructions were clear, checking in a breeze, and being greeted with a 2 liter of soda and homemade cupcakes was a real treat. The kitchen was well stocked, including condiments and several frozen pizzas and pot pies were available. I love that there wasn’t a cumbersome list of check-out chores. Richard is a great, thoughtful host who labeled all of the cabinets so everything was easy to find. Thanks to his bin of children’s toys, we made some unexpected memories playing games with our son and were content to just relax and be together instead of out doing things all the time. We would definitely stay here again!

Good spot to start your exploring of the Allegheny Mountains, Cherry Springs park for Star Gazing, and the local town for walking and shopping.

We had a wonderful stay at the quiet cozy home. Everything was so clean. We had a bottle of wine and muffins upon arrival. Snow removal was excellent. The owners were so pleasant and friendly. We would stay again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.
