cet appartement a été récemment rénové avec des planchers de bois franc remplaçant la moquette et une toute nouvelle cuisine et un réfrigérateur installés.

L'appartement dispose d'un salon avec un coin repas pour 4 personnes. L'appartement fait face au sud et est baigné de lumière naturelle pendant la journée. Le salon dispose d'un canapé-lit pliant pouvant accueillir deux personnes. Il y a un centre de divertissement avec télévision par câble. Cuisine
Le coin cuisine comprend un four micro-ondes, une cafetière, une cuisinière et un four. Les armoires de cuisine ont des verres, des couverts, des casseroles et des poêles, de l'argenterie et d'autres ustensiles.

La chambre a un lit queen qui peut accueillir deux personnes. Unité d'air conditionné. un grand placard contenant des draps, des couvertures, des serviettes, du fer à repasser, un aspirateur et des cintres. Lampes de chaque côté du lit. Plafonnier suspendu et ventilateur.

A month in nyc

Enjoyed my stay very much, IN SPITE of rain my last week😏 Great location, discovered new restaurants, coffee shops etc (Black Lab Cafe). Great being between the two parks, plus the renovated Teddy Roosevelt park. The flat had everything I needed and Tony was responsive when I had a couple of questions. Very convenient to subways. Oh, loved the Farmers Market on Sundays, too!

Great location near Zabars, Fairway and Citarella markets. Short walk to Central Park and subway. Apartment had too many personal items of owner in it and could have benefitted from a new bed. He came over to fix TV in a very timely fashion. Would consider staying there again.

Fantastic!

FANTASTIC Location!!! Close to bus and subway, great restaurants nearby. Loved the apartment and would stay again. Pictures are accurate. Jacuzzi tub was wonderful. Internet / TV was IFFY to non existent, even after following all the reset suggestions. Bed was Hard, to the point of feeling bruised after sleeping on it. Very few dishes and no regular glasses. Needs ice trays. Apt was clean and well maintained.

We have reset the internet. The wi fi and TV are working well. We have replaced the mattress with a softer one. We have 8 dishes and bowls and 8 regular glasses including wine glasses. We have added additional ice trays.

Nice Stay

Location location location: absolutely perfect. This apartment is within easy walking distance to the number 1 subway train on 79th St. and the B and C by the museum of natural history. Also the crosstown bus stops at Columbus and 80th St. Couldn’t be more convenient. Also worth mentioning is that this is a ground floor apartment, so no flights of stairs to navigate. The area around us, on Amsterdam Avenue and Columbus Avenue and Broadway had a fantastic array of restaurants to choose from. Anthony, the manager, was quite responsive when we contacted him. The air-conditioning did not work in the bedroom, and he wound up buying a new one to replace it. Very nice. I would strongly recommend this apartment to anyone who is not claustrophobic, since the rooms are extraordinarily small. We enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed having the Lifsons stay in our apartment. They were responsible and friendly guests .They kept the apartment clean and tidy and let us know of any problems such as the air conditioning unit which we replaced with a new one. We would gladly welcome them back as guests. The one overall rating is 5 stars. The one star was an error.

Great Location, A Little Small

I spent two months in this apartment and had a wonderful stay. For me, the location was unbeatable -- two blocks from Central Park and three blocks from the 79th Street subway stop, close to Zabar's, Fairway, and lots of great restaurants. 15 minutes across the park to the Met. While this is what passes for a one-bedroom in NYC, it's actually one large room that has been divided in half with a bathroom at the far end of the bedroom and a "kitchen" carved out of one corner in the living room. Cooking was pretty much out of the question other than reheating and microwaving, but with Seamless and so many restaurant that will deliver, I didn't need to cook. The pictures are accurate, although the kitchen is a little tired. Because it's on the ground floor, you have to keep the lower blinds closed unless you want pedestrians to be able to see inside. The landlords were responsive to anything we needed and the other tenants in the building were very friendly.

Awesome Location

It was just what I expected, a tiny Manhattan one bedroom. Everything was provided for a nice stay. I wish they had a cheap vacuum to help keep it clean. But other than that, it was perfect for what I wanted.

Cute Apartment in Perfect Location!

We spent a very pleasant month in this cute 1BR apartment. Location is absolutely perfect, steps from anything you could possibly need, including bus and subway. Apt is on the small side but every square foot of space has been maximized. Nice flat screen in LR; it was so nice to have a gas stove and fridg/freezer; queen bed is comfortable and the large closet is great. The wonderful shower felt great after a day of sight-seeing! The property owner, Anthony, could not have been more helpful, as well as Johnny, the Maintenance Man. We are already planning our next visit!

Great place to stay on upper west side manhattan

My family and I recently stayed in this one bedroom apartment. It was a great location, a block from the Museum of Natural History and Central Park, Children's Museum of New York, the Beekman Theatre and Lincoln Center were close by.and the restaurant where they filled Tom Hanks Meg Ryan You've Got Mail. Apartment was well furnished with plenty of utensils and chinaware. We were provided with full set of linens and bath towels, and we could always ask for more. Kitchen was well stocked. Great internet and TV reception. Sofa fold out bed fit out children. Also a lot of closet space for a one bedroom. Heat worked well. We loved going to Central Park in the morning for jogging. I would recommend it. The host tony was great. Whenever there was a problem he sent over staff to fix. Again, cant beat the location.

Great location with short walks to the 1,B and C. No dishwasher, bed is a little uncomfortable and I recommend bringing your own pillows. But overall, really great.

Great Time Again in NYC

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. This is the second time we have stayed in NYC in the past 3 years, the first time being in the Financial District and this time on the Upper West Side. Only a couple of blocks from Central Park and the subway. Great neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and night life. Felt very safe. We were to Times Square via subway in under 15 minutes. Owners were great to communicate with and everything was as stated in their listing. Apartment clean and everything worked just fine. Would definitely stay and again and recommend the area. Not far from several sites in the "You've Got Mail" movie.

Great Location

Apartment was in a great location. Close to Central Park, close to restaurants and a 2 block walk to the subway. The neighbourhood felt safe, and it was great for evening strolls. We walked every where. We even walked down to the theatre district, Rockerfeller Plaza and Times Square. It was a bit of a trek to walk that far but the weather was so nice we enjoyed the walking. For those who don't want to walk that far the subway is just down the street. This apartment was the right size for the 2 of us. I think it would be fine for an extra child but 3 adults would feel pretty cramped. The internet worked without a hitch. Photos were accurate and it had all the amenities we needed for our stay Two suggestions: -the bedroom needs some new,real pillows. The pillows were very thin, no support and uncomfortable to sleep on. It was like there were no pillows at all. I advised Tony of the situation while we were there but never heard back from him. -the couch needs a good cleaning and possibly updating. It's a beige couch in a rented apartment; you can see where it is worn and dark from sitting on. It doesn't look clean....which doesn't mean that it isn't.

No need to look any further for a rental in Upper Westside Midtown Manhattan-this is the place to be

My two teenage daughters and I wanted to venture outside of our city of Seattle and chose to land in New York City for a seven-day vacation. I wanted to share with them the experience of embedding in a NYC residential community. I myself hadn't been to the city since 1990, barely a post teen at that time, so I too was looking to see what it's like to live in the City of New York. Thus, staying at a hotel was not an option. I was thrilled to find VRBO, to say the least. We had thousands of options, but we chose this unit, and I made the best choice for many reasons, and so should you. Here's why: The apartment is situated on a very quite residential street. I woke up on the sleeper sofa every morning hearing only birds chirping at 7A. I imagined there would be more hustle and bustle! The 10 ft windows gleamed with sunlight, overlooking this very quite street. Of course, I could have shuddered them, but why? The interior is mixed with new: beautiful wood flooring and tiled bathroom; and old: the woodwork around the fireplace and above the kitchen is true mastery from early 1910. The detail in the wood was remarkable. The bathroom housed all of my and my teenager's belongings with much more drawers and shelving left over, unused. The lighting in the bathroom is perfect: not too dark or not too bright, just perfect. The granite counter space is beautiful. My daughters stayed in the bedroom, which had lots of storage space. We unpacked and we each had more then enough space in this room for our shoes, clothing, suitcases, computers. The kitchen offers a host of amenities, there was nothing it did not have to offer that we needed. It served it's purpose, as we ate in most of the time. Fresh food was just around the corner, and priced below moderate, which surprised me, as I've heard "everything in New York City is expensive". Not true in this neighborhood. The building is secured with a camera above the stoop, which is comforting, yet I never felt unease walking the streets coming back from our adventure that day at sometimes 11, Midnight. The neighboring people, overall are very nice offering us smiles, pats to their dogs as we walked by at all times of the day. Subway stations are offered on each side of the street, depending on where you go. Commuting only by subway, we saw may stations. The stations close to this apartment (81st and 79th) were some of the cleanest, well-lit of them all. I need not look any further for a home-away-from home in NYC!

Great Location!

We loved the location of the appartment. About a 5 min walk to subway, less then that to dozens of resturants and pubs. Small park at the end of the block with central park just beyond that...about 5 min walk! There was a farmers market one morning by the small park. One end of our block had a deli and a coffee shop with great breakfast fare. The other end had several resturants and pubs. Could not hear any street noise from the bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. Felt very safe walking in this part of the city...no issues at all. We will try to stay in Tony's appartment during our next visit to NYC.

Upper West Side Getaway

Booked the apartment for 4 nights as a mid-winter getaway. We ended up staying only 3 nights because of the impending snow storm, but seriously considered trying to extend to 5 nights instead. The apartment was exactly as advertised, clean, close to Central Park and many stores and restaurants. It is exactly halfway between the 1 line at 79th & Broadway, and the B & C lines at 81st - Museum of Natural History. Tony was very easy to deal with, came over shortly after we checked in to see how everything was. It was your typical NYC neighborhood, in fact, my wife found her little coffee shop she went to each morning. I am already looking forward to going back as soon as possible.

NYC - Great Location

My daughter and I enjoy living in the Upper West Side for the 10 nights we were in New York. Great location, close to museums, shopping, subway and Zabars Deli is fabulous. Also, great restaurants and pubs in the area. Just advise for the owner to replace/update the apartment with new duvets, bedsheets and pillows, which seem to be getting wornout and old. The apartment itself was clean and all necessary dishes etc. were all provided.

Great place!

Great Location

We found the apartment matched the description and photos on the VRBO website. The location is terrific being close to the subways and buses and very near Central Park, the Natural History Museum and some good restaurants. The owner was helpful and available and we would recommend staying here.

Great apartment for a small family

Me, my wife, and my 3 year old daughter stayed here for a week while in town for work and a weekend wedding. We found the owners to be very professional in all our communication leading up to our stay. The apartment is _exactly_ as advertised. Nothing particularly fancy, but comfortable, clean, safe, and the neighborhood can't be beat. Shopping, food, and a very nice playground a few blocks south on Amsterdam for the kid. A bit of noise from other tenants coming in and out (we were on the first floor), but our daughter slept through it pretty well. Overall we had a great time and would stay here again.

Great Fun!

Our first trip to the big city and the apartment was great. Not fancy but just what we were looking for. The location could not have been better. Was surprised to find most of NYC safe and at this location couldn't have felt safer. Great eats ande walking. Only problem we found was parking. This has NOTHING to with this apartment but watch the garages as we got the run around when we hade reservation at 83rd and had to put an attude to them as they didn't want to take us. Try Andy's Deli at the corner of W80th and Columbus. Great take out food.

Great neighborhood

We found everything as described, and the owner(s) very responsive to our requests. Not luxurious, but adequately furnished, comfortable and not small (by NYC standards). Everything you could possibly want to eat (restaurants as well as stores) was within easy walking distance, and Zabars "down the street" has everything you could eat for a month -- we know, we did (30 days). We would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in the Apartment for 9 days - and loved it. Great neighborhood, lots of restaurants, easy walk to subway, great place to "come home" to after a long day in the city.
