Let the waves lull you to sleep. This home is a classic California bungalow built in 1929 as part of the Surfside Colonies resort community.

Surfside Colony is a gated community located on a unique piece of land 0.7 miles long nestled along the beautiful Pacific Ocean in Orange County, California. The Colony is located southeast of Seal Beach and northwest of Sunset Beach and Huntington Beach. Entry into the community is restricted to residents and their guests and enforced by a 24 hour manned gate house.

Surfside is a residential area with approximately 260 single-family homes. The homes are arranged in three rows, A, B, and C, and include an eclectic range of styles from older single-story cottages to newer multi-story architectural wonders. No home in the colony is more than 75 feet from the beach.

The colony has a casual beach culture that values diversity and community. Favorite beach activities include surfing, kite surfing, fishing, and just sitting and enjoying the sun and sea air.

Our home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Enter the Dutch doors into the living room with comfortable matching mid century accent chairs and down filled couch. Enjoy your favorite game or movie on a 65 inch Sony flat screen. Additional TVs are located in each bedroom and the outside patio. The tvs are ROKU compatible and connect to your “Smart” phone or laptop. Adjacent to this in an open floor plan is a gourmet kitchen with DeLonghi automatic expresso/coffee maker, automatic dishwasher, kitchen appliances and kitchen ware. Designer details abound with attention to comfort to sooth your mind and body. Across from the kitchen is a dining table which comfortably seats six people.

Also located on the first floor is a full sized bathroom and an office with laptop docking station, full size monitor and printer. Located in this office is a twin trundle daybed which sleeps 2 comfortably.

Upstairs is another bathroom and two additional sleeping rooms, the master bedroom with a king sized Italian leather bed and a twin bunk room.

At the back of the house is an enclosed outdoor patio with gas grill, gas fireplace, outdoor TV, dining table and lounging sofa which is a perfect retreat to unwind after a long day. Parking available in a detached garage for a medium sized car. Additional parking behind house can accommodate a truck or an SUV.

Beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella and a picnic basket are provided, you may elect to dine on the sand at sunset. The side patio is accessible from the beach and includes outside shower and a secure area for beach toys or bikes. There is a water faucet/hose available in the front and back of the house to wash off sand and beach items.

Security cameras located outside at the back of the house, front of the house, back of the garage and side yard; and home security monitored by Brinks security system.
