This is the best Vacation Rental I have ever stayed at. Susan is such a pleasure and her property is an oasis right in the city! I cannot recommend it enough and I will be back!!!!Book with confidence!
This two bedroom lower level walk out apartment has every amenity, plus a fabulous view. We plan to go back again and again. The owner was extremely helpful and provided recommendations for outings and restaurants. Highly recommended.
What a beautiful and welcoming property! Tons of wildlife activity to view and great water views. Amenities were great. Really appreciate everything! Lovely host!
Quiet clean roomy with great view and private pier.
Susan is a wondeful host, she lives upstairs and made sure we had everything we needed and showed us where all of the amenties are.
We spent a wonderful week at this cozy ground-level retreat overlooking the South River Sanctuary. It was perfect for us, and my wifesâ elderly mom. The view was absolutely beautifulâlush greenery and calm water right outside our patio. Thereâs a narrow trail leading down to a private pier, where we set crab traps with chicken legs generously provided by our host (and yes, the girls caught some!).The two-bedroom space was clean, quiet, and private, with everything we neededâincluding a full laundry room, easy parking, and helpful local recommendations for dining, shopping, and entertainment. We grilled dinner most nights and enjoyed it on the patio, no matter the weather. The setting was so peacefulâwe spotted cardinals, ducks, lizards, squirrels, a fox, deer, a daily visit from a great blue heron, and even a local rowing team and some adventurous swimmers. The neighborhood was friendly, and the whole experience felt like discovering a secret little cove. Mom loved sitting on the patio just watching the water and trees. My husband was thrilled to grill and relax with a soccer game on TV. My wife loved the soft, cool bed after long, hot July days.Highly recommend for anyone seeking tranquility, nature, and a touch of adventureâall in one spot. Our hostess Susan was so awesome and is a new friend and we loved the area so much that we choose to move here! I highly recommend this hidden Gem.
This was the perfect place for us to relax and rest! The breeze off the water kept the air cool on the deck! It is a beautiful place and we will be back!
Beautiful location and was very nice and quiet. Dead end street on the waterfront of the South River. Views were excellent! Abundance of wild life, saw deer and fox every day. Accommodations were very nice. Host was very friendly and quickly responded to any questions or needs. Would definitely stay there again!
Nice walkout basement apartment with great water views and dock
We were a vendor at the boat show and it was a perfect place to stay
Susan was a great host and even got us a great parking deal by the Annapolis harbor
Lovely apartment with great views in a quiet neighborhood. Close to Annapolis with lots of amenities close by. Centrally located to Baltimore and DC, both just a short drive away.
The house was amazing with a beautiful view over the bay. It was very private and felt like you were living in the wilderness. It had everything I needed, including a washer and dryer to wash my clothes, and I was visited by many animals on the back porch from deer grazing at night to a groundhog. Susan was super nice and a very excellent host. I will definitely be staying there next time I go visit my son.
A welcome retreat with a private dock coveside. Our family of three enjoyed this quiet spring break getaway just a short drive from Annapolis proper. The garden level unit includes a lovely view of the water as well as animal sightings of deer, foxes and ospreys. We saw them all! We loved that we were mintues away from our favorite eatery too and enjoyed the convenience of making our meals in a well equipped kitchen. Appreciated that there was a French press for my morning coffee which I enjoyed on the patio while mindfully taking in the scenery. Since the owner is on site, Susan popped in a few times to touch base and was willing to adjust our check in and check out times so that we could make the most of our stay at this Annapolis gem.
My husband and I planned a few days away to relax in Annapolis. I was delighted with the property. Firstly, it was immaculately clean. Everything was in good working order and the furniture was comfortable. The dining table and living room face the woods, inlet and bird feeder. We saw foxes, deer, herons & Carolina wrens. We also walked down to the dock to enjoy mallards and the peacefulness of the water. I estimate itâs 2- 3 flights of steps down to the water. Susan was very nice and available if there were any issues(there were none). We decided to stay an extra night and Iâm sure weâll be returning.
Spacious ground floor apartment with large windows giving terrific views of the water and lovely gardens. Clean and very well-stocked with everything you would need. Beds and furniture very comfortable.
We spent a lot of time on the large covered patio, watching the herons, osprey and many other birds. So relaxing! We also used the firepit area, which is set away from the houses and private.
The owner lives in the main part of the home. She responded quickly to questions, and was helpful with suggestions. She has a couple of crab traps available, which we used and caught a few crabs (too small so we put them back in the water.)
We loved the quiet location in a nice neighborhood, easy 10 minute drive to grocery and many other stores as well as to many restaurants and parks/hiking trails.
One thing to be aware of is that the place is on a steep slope, so there's steps to get to the apartment, and many steps to go down to the dock. Also, you can't swim off the dock.
Our family visited and our granddaughter stayed a couple of nights with us; everyone enjoyed spending time there. We had a wonderful visit and hope to return in the fall!
What a beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing stay. What you see is really what you get and more. This place was very clean and well-kept. The kitchen has silverware, dishes and pots/pans thatâs needed for cooking. If you want to kayak, enjoy the fire pit area or just relax on the dock or patio this stay is for you. Susan was a great host. Canât wait to visit again. Exactly what we needed. The Pleasant Family
