At Sand Dollar you will have exlusive rights to the largest resort owned waterfront on Bonaire. There are several sets of stairs and leading into the warm aqua ocean offering an easy entry for diving, snorkeling or swimming. You can readily wash off the salt water with a shower as you exit the water. There are lawn chairs provided for your relaxation on the waterfront in the sun or shade. Our sand beach is by the pier with a designated shallow swimming area. Be sure to bring your camera and capture one of those classic Carribean sunsets, and maybe even a green flash!
It's expansive waterfront extends between Den Laman and Buddy Dive. Sand Dollar has all the amenities one could ask for to enjoy an incredible dive vacation. Bari reef, litterally in your front yard, is easily navigated but thrilling at the same time. Repetitive dives allows you to watch the behavior of a certain frog fish, discover where the octopus likes to hang out, or get to know the local sea turtles. On the property, you have exclusive rights to our pier, located in front of Dive Friends, dive shop. There is a secure dive locker located there for your gear if you choose to rent tanks there. Please note there is not a dive locker located in the townhouse itself. You can arrange to have your tanks on the pier ready for you to gear up and get to your underwater adventure. At Dive Friends you are sure to meet friendly, top notch dive instructors who will help to make your diving vacation enjoyable and safe. They also have boat dives leaving from our private pier. There are many Dive Friends locations around the island, expanding your choice of where to get tanks for shore diving. We advise you use dive locker wherever you purchase your air. For your convenience, we have partnered with Dive Friends and can offer our guests a 10% discount when arranging for diving. We are happy to arrange a voucher for you prior to your arrival.

The Octopus' garden include two spacious, air conditioned bedrooms on the third floor eachhtwith a private bathroom. The new kingsize beds are very comfortable! The screened in balcony in the master bedroom has a superb ocean view facing Klein Bonaire. (my favorite spot for reading and relaxing) The rooms are situated so if all windows are open the breeze flows through eliminating the need for constant air conditioning. Downstairs you will find the living room sliders open up to a beautiful oceanfront view from the screened in dining area. Again the tropical breeze can flow through the entire home! There is a desk area perfect for placing your personal computers, tablets etc or for those who engage in working vacations. The living area is spacious and comfortable for all to enjoy the airconditioned living room, including a recliner and large flat screen TV. There is also a television in each of the bedrooms.

Parking is available right outside you door. You will be a very short walking distance to the outdoor pool and tennis court where pickle ball is often played. There are grills and tables located on the waterfront should you chose to have a cookout by the water!
