This beautiful, well-appointed house is located in a peaceful setting only minutes from Meredith, Gilford, and Tilton. Enjoy sweeping views of Lake Winnisquam and The Belknap Mountain Range from almost every room! This home offers 3-4 bedrooms plus 2 additional sleeping rooms and 3 full baths. Comfortably sleeps 12. There is a large deck and a patio with plenty of seating and a Webber grill with extra propane on the ready. Enjoy the cornhole game in the large backyard and take an afternoon nap in the hammock. Enjoy roasting marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit. You'll have the use of paddleboards and kayaks and fishing poles with tackle. Fish right from the dock! Great place for snowmobiling and ice fishing in the winter with trails nearby. The finished basement is decked out with multiple game tables such as shuffleboard, air hockey, foosball, and lots of board games. Perfect for a family game or movie night or a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon. Gunstock Mountain is 23 minutes away and offers year-round activities. Downtown Meredith is 20 minutes to the northeast and Tilton is just 15 minutes to the west.
Our family so enjoyed our stay at the lake. We were in town for my niece's wedding (in Meredith) and couldn't imagine a more perfect house for our trip. We were eight adults and one grandchild and had traveled from Nebraska, Colorado, and New York. It was so wonderfully peaceful and serene but still close to all of our required wedding events and nearby shopping, wineries, and attractions. And my granddaughter loved feeding the baby ducks and fishing with her dad! I highly recommend this lovely lake home to everyone looking to relax lakeside!!
Had a wonderful time here with my friends and family for a short weekend get away. Private dock access was perfect. Amenities were clean, easy to use, with tons of activities to do with the family inside even on a rainy day. Hoping to come back again next summer!
Everything about our stay was perfect! The house was clean, spacious and had welcoming touches throughout. On warm days the yard, the dock, kayaks and paddle boards were great and the entertainment area in the basement was fun on a rainy day. Excellent location on the lake!
This place was just what we needed! Beautiful views! Plenty to do you will not get board. Kitchen was very well stocked. The basement was great for the kids late night movie nights and games!
We were blown away by this property upon arrival, the photos really donât do it justice! We enjoyed a girls weekend here and the views of the lake were incredible each day. We really appreciated having access to paddle boards and kayaks, and being able to hop right in the water from the dock. 10/10 would recommend.
Much fun at a lake house well suited for large groups, particularly the large dining table. Great deck, plenty of chairs to sit and watch the lake, paddleboards and kayaks very well used. Lovely game room ! Extra fridge was well used. Hope to be back !
Our three families of four had yet another amazing long weekend in Sanbornton. We lucked out for the second year in a row weather wise. Property has everything and all the space necessary to spread out, have fun, relax, whatever you wish. Thank you Diane & family for your hospitality!
We enjoyed the house very much, as it suited our group perfectly.
2 family's and a few friends were very comfortable. The house was spacious, very well maintained, and the basement was a treat late night while the kids were sleeping. We would certainly rent again, and appreciated all of the amenities. 5 stars!
Our first family vacation in years! The house did not disappoint, it is actually larger than the pictures depict. This house has everything you would need in a vacation home! Amazing sunsets and sunrises by the dock, we took our jetskis up and docked them right out back. So nice to just walk outside and hop on and go! We had a blast and we will definitely be back next year! Thank you Diane & Fred , you are amazing hosts!
This property was amazing - we had a small group but it could easily accommodate quite a large crowd. Super clean and well equipped kitchen and huge basement game room. We used the kayaks and a paddleboard to go out to the nearby island, and had a boat rental from Winnisquam Marine that we used mostly for sightseeing on the lake. The swimming is great. Steps easily bring you down to the sandy (with some pebbles) bottom. I went for a walk one day, and I really liked the the hilly road. We only had 3 nights here, and I think we packed a lot in! Thank you, Diane, for sharing your beautiful home with us.
The house and amenities exceeded our expectations! The outdoor and indoor amenities (paddle boards, kayaks, corn hole, fire pit, and all the entertainment games in the basement) made each day enjoyable regardless of the weather. There was plenty of room to spread out into different groups to visit, read, sit outside, or watch movies. Lots of comfortable sleeping areas were available. The large dining room table was a fantastic place to gather for meals and to connect with our family and friends! The house and hosts were very welcoming, with many thoughtful and special touches to help you feel comfortable and enjoy your time at the lake.
Our families would like to thank Diane & family for their hospitality. This little slice of heaven was perfect for our three families with children (5-9). There was ample room for everyone to spread out. Open layout of kitchen/dining/living area was perfect. Both inside and out, this home was well equipped and well kept. Lots of fish were caught just off the dock bringing many smiles :) Paddle boards, kayaks, blow up floats and fishing gear were very nice to have available. Boat rental nearby was a plus. We didn't need to use basement much as the weather was beautiful, but it was certainly full of fun things to do. The views all around were amazing. The location was quiet. Would absolutely recommend this beautiful spot for multiple or larger families getaways.
Our three families enjoyed another long Memorial Day weekend stay on Lake Winnisquam. This property continues to have enough space and amenities for a great long weekend in both Sunshine and Rain. Thanks again Lovine family for sharing your property with us!
This home/property was just what we needed for a relaxing, worry-free, spectacular weekend! We went with 4 couples. It had everything we could possibly need.
The house was great once againâŠlucky for us because there was no ice AND it was the coldest day in the past 20 years. Diane and Family are always great hosts and weâll be back again next time yearâŠmaybe two weeks later đ
Immaculate House on best stretch of Lake Winnisquam!
Stayed here end of August 2022 with 8 adults and 2 kids age 4 and 6. Canât say enough good things about the house and our vacation! The kitchen is a dream, along with the the open floor plan and dining table for 10+. The house came outfitted with every kitchen and outdoor accessory you could need - the 2 brand new SUPs and water shoes for all ages were particularly nice touches. Plenty of Adirondack chairs for sitting around the fire pit at night, a basement game room that kept everyone occupied the day it rained, and a shallow, crystal clear lake entry off the dock were even more of the perks of this house. I have rented many vacation homes over the years and this was one of the freshest and most thoughtfully prepared homes that I have booked in a while!
Diane has a beautiful property and home that was ideal for our ice fishing needs. We also are all now hooked on shuffleboard.
This is an excellent place to stay, with beautiful views and weâll definitely be back again.
Diane and Fred spent most of their adult lives in Wilmington, MA. We have two sons, one in high school and one at FSU. In 2015 we moved down to Florida to enjoy the warmer climate and give the kids an opportunity to know their FL family. We now live in the Sarasota area and own a small business there but have always had the goal of returning to New England for summers and plan to spend more and more of the year up here as we near retirement.
We purchased this home as a vacation and retirement home that brings us closer to friends and family in New England. We love all that this area has to offer; boating, hiking, fishing, skiing, and a rural setting that is close to restaurants and shops.
From the moment we first viewed this home, we couldn't wipe the smiles off of our faces. The views are absolutely stunning! In addition, the neighborhood is quiet and friendly. There are plenty of things to do and see in Tilton, Meredith, and Gilford, all within 20 minutes, but the neighborhood and this part of the lake are serene.
The splendid views capture you when you enter this lovely custom-built home. This is such a magical place. A wonderful entertainment spot with plenty of space for family and friends to gather. The home is large and very well laid out with enough space for large gatherings, yet plenty of rooms to retreat to for peace and quiet. There is a sitting room at the back of the house where we love to sit with our coffee in swivel rockers and watch the loons in the mornings. The patio offers the best dining spot on the lake to watch boaters and birds.
