We had the best time here! Our busy 2 year old enjoyed the ground floor the most - easy access to the grass area, pool and beach. We would love to stay here again!

We had a great time and this place is as advertised. Very clean, well kept and very comfortable setting. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The pool and beach was fantastic and resort was very quite and relaxing. Check in and staff were awesome and made our stay enjoyable. Great location and very close to many things to do with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Would highly recommend staying here and will be back.

We loved our stay at the Kaanapali Ali’i. The unit was clean, well stocked and we loved being in the ground floor for easy access to the pool and beach. The workout room is well equipped and the grounds are wondeful. It is in walking distance to many restaurants and the grocery is nearby (2 miles). We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for an amazing stay!

I had some concerns about noise with a first floor unit but it was not an issue at all. The unit was well insulated from sound. It was very convenient to the pool, beach, and parking. There was an issue with a clogged drain the first night but it was taken care of the next morning with excellent communication throughout the process.

Great location

Great location - close to Whaler’s Village and many cute restaurants close by. We spent each morning walking the amazing beach where we swam with the turtles. The grounds of the hotel are well kept and grilling pool side was great for the family. Our room was clean and newly renovated and the staff were all lovely!

Loved our stay!

Thank you so much! We had such a wonderful time! We can’t wait to return. We’re hoping to make this an annual trip. This condo was perfect for my family of 4. Plenty of room and loved being on the 1st level for easy ins and outs. In the perfect location walkable to whalers village for dining. Mahalo!

A little piece of heaven

I absolutely love this property. The location is perfect. We love hanging out at a Palapa, listening to the waves and reading a good book. The units are spacious, clean and well stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. I will be returning soon

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your place in Maui. It's a beautiful place and so centrally located to many fun things to do. Beds were extremely comfortable and thermostats in each bedroom as well as the common space was a plus. The view was nice and the 30 second walk to the beach was also a plus. We would definitely stat again.

Amazing Experience

This property was as close to perfect as we could have hoped for. The location on the ground level allowwd for easy access to the beach and reataurants . It was easy to come and go as we pleased. The condo itself was pristine..from the beatiful decor to the comfort of the beds and aminities in the kitchen and baths.This is by far the best condo we've stayed in and will be back! Everything was perfect..check in,amenities,sleep,location,as well as the resort itself. We kept waiting for the "catch" and there wasn't one!

Beautiful Inside and Out

My sister and I were amazed at the size of the unit and the different levels. It was unexpected opulence! On the ground floor, we were able to enjoy a garden view and had easy access to the building exit and parking. We had assistance booking activities and food/drinks were available on the beach walk to other complexes and Whalers Village. A great place to stay and I definitely recommend it.

Very nice place

Nice ground floor unit with plenty of room, in a great complex, in a great location. The ground floor is nice because you don't have to deal with the elevator, and yet you still have somewhat of an ocean view. The lanai is right next to the walkway going into the building, but it's well screened so it still felt private. You are steps away from a large pool area with multiple pools, and Kaanapali beach and the boardwalk. It wasn't at all noisy in the evenings. Short walk to lots of restaurant options, and easy walk to great snorkeling off Black Rock.

Late checking and early checkout

Great stay but I gave it a low over all because the late check in and early check out. Rooms are not cheap so would like to be able to check in earlier due to paying for first night. Set up great, ground floor was great, location along beach great just wish we could have enjoyed more two of the seven days in condo….check in and checkout days.

Perfect Maui vacation spot

This was exactly like it was described in the listing except it was actually bigger and better. I didn’t realize there were 2 separate bathrooms and 2 separate bedrooms. Most places list the pull-out couch as a bedroom. We didn’t need to contact the host during our stay because everything was perfect. This is a beautiful, spacious, clean condo with everything we needed. You walk out on to the lanai and are in the most perfect garden courtyard, so close to the pool and beach. The pool area is beautiful, grill area clean and well laid out. The grounds are immaculate, so well taken care of. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping. This unit and the whole Kaanapali Alii is everything you imagine when you dream of a Hawaiian vacation. We will be back, soon I hope!

Another great stay at the Alii. We have stayed at this property for years and it was fabulous as always. I would say that the second bedroom does not give any privacy. Our friends always used the master toilet for "big jobs" because you could hear everything. I think if it would have been family it wouldn't have been bad. The place was clean and well-maintained. Pick up some toilet paper if your stay is more than a week as we did not have enough. I would definitely stay here again, walking right out our slider to the lawn was amazing!

Exceeded our expectations

The property is amazing! It is well decorated with comfy beds, furniture, well appointed kitchen and plenty of towels and supplies. The primary suite/bathroom is huge. You can hear people outside the windows but normally it was pretty quiet. The second room lacks privacy because of the sliding shutter doors but it worked well for our family. You can hear noise from people in the hallway outside. We discovered by accident that the sofa does turn into a bed. There is a cooler, a couple beach chairs, pool noodles/floaties, snorkel gear, sand toys and board games. The property has beach chairs to use for free and umbrellas to rent. The beach and pool are just steps from the sliding doors through the grass and gardens. The waves can bash you about a bit at the shore but it’s calm just a bit further out. The pool can get busy but at other times we were the only ones there. The BBQ area is nice. We used the Grill Master to cook us steaks and veggies and he charged us $40 as a “tip- service fee” when I thought it was a free service. It was delicious though. It’s an easy 5-10 minute to walk to Whalers Village for shopping and food. It’s about a 15 minute walk to Black Rock for snorkeling. Although we thought the best snorkeling is at Airport Beach just a 5 minute drive up the coast. Walk in, put your face in the water and see a variety of fish! We had an amazing stay and would definitely book again!
