It was a nice, clean property with great views and we had a very pleasant stay during our trip. I would rate this as one of the nicest places we have stayed for our family vacations.
My family loved everything about this home. It's very very clean, well maintained, has an amazing kitchen, and the owner is very responsive. We'll definitely be back!
Beautiful (and big!) house in a great location. We rented for the access to Yosemite but we will be back just to enjoy Pine Mountain Lake more. Kitchen was spacious enough for our group and the kids loved having their own room! Morning coffee on the deck with a view of the lake was the best way to start the day. Thank you for your hospitality!
Great home for 3 couples, close to Yosemite. En-suite bedrooms and bathrooms, huge refrigerator and room in the kitchen. The home is also in a lake community so we rented kayaks for some time on the water.
Clean and spacious
The house is absolutely beautiful and very spacious, and the property itself has a great fire pit and a lovely view of the lake. Our one regret is that we didn't stay an additional day!
This home was amazing, and Miguel was a pure joy to work with. The home was perfect for our family and friends. The lake was a ton of fun and great proximity to Yosemite! Our week was perfect with several days at Yosemite, a round of golf, some pool time, lake time, and lots of laughter and memories!
Our family of seven used this home for exploring and hiking Yosemite.
This home is clean, has comfortable furnishings, and a great view of the lake!
The kitchen appears to be well furnished but we only ate a light breakfast here before leaving early each morning.
On the fourth day of our stay we ate lunch at the Country Club, rented a sailboat and enjoyed the beach in this gated community.
It was
Our kids and Grandkids joined us for 6 nights. The house was very comfortable with beautiful views. It was roomy enough that we could all spread out and find our favorite spot. The young kids enjoyed the game area down stairs while the adults hung out on the porch upstairs. The house was clean, pictures were accurate and we would rent it again. We had one little problem and the local caretaker came right away and resolved it. A great family vacation spot!
This home was so wonderful with itâs great deck seating looking out at Pine Mountain Lake, the great outdoor dining we took advantage of to eat all together, the game room and downstairs area, and large kitchen where we had multiple âchefsâ cooking with ease. It was perfect. My adult daughter also got giddy when I told her there was a âsecret wine cellarâ she had to find. So fun!!!
Photos donât do it justice. Spacious with places for a group to gather or for quiet chats one on one. We especially enjoyed the large covered deck with a wonderful view of the lake but still private and also the fire pit. The dining table seated eight letting us all eat together. The host was responsive via email both before and during our stay. We are talking about returning.
We were three families from ages 13 to 60. Miguel's home is beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you would have at home. We had plenty of room and the kids enjoyed their room as well as the gameroom! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
This was a wonderful vacation home that suited our needs as an extended family looking for a weekend away together. We had a couple of hiccups with the technology but Miguel was so responsive and helpful, and none of it took away from our experience. We were hoping for a snow weekend which wasn't in the cards due to ongoing lack of snow, but it was a short drive into Yosemite National Park to find some snow to play in. We will definitely be back to take in more of the scenery in different seasons.
We, two families , stayed at this amazing house while visiting Yosemite and we loved it. Kids ( 6 yrs to 13 yrs) enjoyed the bunk bed room and game room . The house was very well equipped and clean. There were fine details which was an awesome experience like books around the house, binoculars, sauna and wine cellar. Appreciate a quick response from owners in case of any questions. Would definitely come back :)
We stayed at Skyridge House in Pine Mountain Lake for 4-nights. Wow...the moment we walked through the front door we were in love with the place! It is stunning, the view of the lake is beautiful and the house itself is gorgeous. It has an open floor plan, is very bright with lots of skylights, and is tastefully decorated!
The owner was very responsive and easy to get in touch with which made our stay even better. We are very grateful for this experience. Thank you, Miguel.
Our overall experience was wonderful...it is a great place to stay!
We stayed here with three adults and four kids and this home had space to spare. The kids loved the bunk room and the garage converted to a game room. The adults enjoyed the deck with views of the lake and deer coming by every night. We also appreciated that there were plenty of towels (even beach towels), toilet paper, and a few snacks when we arrived.
We spent the week going to Yosemite (about an hour drive, but beautiful) and a day at the lake. This was the perfect home to come back to each night. Iâd highly recommend!
I enjoyed the property location, It was clean and had everything you needed. However we did not like much the apple siri devices much, a lot of the stuff was not responding to it well and 2 of the fireplaces where not working and could not figure out how to turn them on. Also we did not like paying $46 additional to enter to the property (specially when you have to pay for 3 vehicles), I feel that should be included with the price and the other one would be the check out at 10am was too early specially with small children (harder to wake them up and get them ready). Overall I recommend it. Owner was pretty nice and place was nice and quiet.
The pictures do not do this house justice! Very spacious interior; new, contemporary house with rustic touches. Tastefully, and carefully furnished. The kitchen was incredible, with every possible piece of equipment you could need in the huge pantry alone, and more in the over-sized kitchen itself. We loved gathering around the huge island at mealtime. Multiple sets of dishes, sharp knives and very high end appliances. The bedrooms were quiet and the beds super comfortable. The towels and linens are very good quality as well. The fire pit on the hill above the house was beautiful and there is a sauna hidden on the lower level. We had fun finding it! Even though we're on the East coast, we're planning to return. If we could give the house 6 stars we would! The tiny historic town nearby is lovely. You won't regret staying here.
We loved staying in this lake house. This was our 4th annual family trip and first time in this location. It did not disappoint. The home was spacious enough for all 11 of us (aged 72 to 3) 6 adults, 3 teens, and 2 younger kids. Everyone had space and a comfortable bed with nice sheets. The 2 decks were great. We enjoyed the front deck the most since we could see the lake. The views from the living room were beautiful. The secret wine cellar is a nice touch. We looked forward to using the sauna, but did not due to the extreme heat during our stay. We used the lake and the pool, we rented a paddle board and everyone in the family tried something new.We felt the fee at entry per car was very reasonable. We started our adventure with dinner at 2 Guys Pizza which was delicious! We usually visit different places for our annual trip but we just might stay here again next year - it was that good! Thank you Miguel for prompt responses when I had questions.
We just finished a 5 night stay at this beautiful property. There were 10 of us (4 adults in 40's, 1 senior and 5 kids from 16-23 years old). Many times we found ourselves saying "the owners of this property did not forget anything". The open floor plan is amazing. We could be cooking in the kitchen and talking to family on the couch 15 feet away. We watched the fireworks from inside the house. Temps were up to 104 during the day and the AC did not have any problems keeping up. This is a SMART house. The power went out a few times (rolling blackouts) and the Generac standby generator automatically kicked in within a few seconds (yes seconds, not minutes) so we were not without power. Thank you Manuel for having us.
Great House! Poor owner experience and entry process
We like vrbo, but. This has to be my first poor review. The house itself is great.
Communication issues: Several times prior to the day of arrival I requested an early arrival time and I got no response. Additional requests were ignored. Some communications were answered promptly. A âwelcomeâ email received the day prior said no entry till 4pm. OK, understood.
Entry issues: We arrived (10 til 4) and unloaded the car. at 4pm we put in code. Didnât work. More attempts â no luck. We rang the âRINGâ many times leaving messages that âweâre here freezing in blustery cold rainâ leaving phone numbers. no callbacks, still no entry. We called the âconciergeâ and left messages. At 4:40 the concierge called promising to come over. But then gave us another way and by about 4:50 we got in.
Once hooked up to the net, I emailed the owner explaining the entire ordeal. He responded acting like I had no reason to complain. also said that he had sent an email 4 hours prior to okay early entry. Thanks but too late. Never got the message. Wouldnât have mattered anyway as the lock didnât work. He also said that because Iâd asked days earlier if they had cameras inside the house that he thought it best to disable some things. WHAT things, the lock? No clue. Anyway, no apologies. He never even acknowledged that we were inconvenienced!
Then the day prior to checkout an email said checkout was 10, not 11 as the welcome email and site says. 5 stars for the house. 2 stars for owner.
Donât hesitate booking this place! The space is very open, enough room for so many people without feeling crowded. They had everything you may need for a long stay, and it was extremely clean and organized. The patio was peaceful and we got to see two bald eagles nesting just by the lake. Quick drive to Yosemite with good access to food, groceries, and gas. Will be back!
