Great Place for Big Groups

I came here alongside 40 friends in January and enjoyed the sights of the property, along with the accessibility to other attractions.

Do not rent this cabin!

Worst ever rental experience. It was not cleaned AT ALL. Wet, filthy towels had been left in bathtubs. When we called, they assured us cleaners were on the way. They never came. We bought supplies and did what we could on our own. Clean linens had been left, but sheets were not all the correct size, so we had to wash some of the previous occupants’ dirty sheets. We were then assured that cleaners would come the next evening. They arrived, dropped off linens, and left without cleaning. The air conditioning on the top floor was not working at all. It was fixed almost 24 hours later. We rented this for a family reunion for 40 people. Despite being advertised as being able to sleep 58 people, we were at about max capacity. Bedrooms were missing futons shown in the floor plan, and they were not big enough for two people. The hot tubs would not heat up. When we asked for the hot tub fee to be refunded, we were told that was impossible since we hadn’t already told them it was an issue. Previous reviews have mentioned the problem, so they were aware. The kitchen has broken cabinets and some sort of infestation. We taped a cabinet closed because some unknown debris inside dropped out if it was opened. Large ants infested the kitchen and at least one bedroom. There was a general lack of maintenance - some toilets that were tricky to flush, fans that seemed like they were going to fall on us when turned on, an upstairs showers leaked through the ceiling. The two previous bad reviews appeared after we had booked the cabin but before we arrived. When we saw them, we called the company to express our concerns and they assured us we would not experience the same issues, and they would call us on the day of our arrival to make sure all was well. Needless to say, that was not true. They spent two days telling us cleaners were coming with no results. The first evening, we waited, not unpacking so we wouldn't be in the way of the cleaners. When we finally started cleaning ourselves, it took up our first evening - when we should have been enjoying time with family members that we haven’t seen in years. The lack of clear communication and follow through was appalling. This company’s MO seems to be to provide shoddy service with a kind voice and hope you won’t take the time to complain and ask for reimbursement. They did refund us the cleaning fee and a portion of our stay but this was after countless phone calls and much effort on our part.

By far my WORST experience

well where should i start. My sister gets to the cabin before me and as soon as she pulls up theres trash everywhere ftom the last occupants so i call the office they tell me itll take 2-4 for maintenance to come get it!! Strick 1.. Then she ask is there anything else i tell her well they just pulled in but if they pulling up to this im sure ill be calling yall back.. And you better know i did...OMGGGG. The stove was dirty one of the cabinet doors was literally split open my little cousin cut her finger trying to open it water bottles on the floor and dirty mask on the floor the pots and pans looked like the last person cooked food burnt it tried to scrap it out and couldn't and just left it there this was a 12 bd cabin literally had 4 pots and pans... Its was dead birds on the patio the pool table and hockey table was broke both hot tubs didnt work the air on the main level didnt work in one of the downstairs bathrooms it was a dirty towel from the last guest still hanging on the hook the rocking chairs didnt have arms to the some didnt have backs to them out if the 12 beds only 2 had blankets the rest just had a thin sheet froze all night except the main level they were hot the bottom of the stove was broke it was still someone hair in the bathroom shower a rolls of bags and a dirty rag on one of the beds the rooms downstairs smelled like hit piss mold and mildew the fire alarm went off the last night about 1 am for no resson... I called that office i know at least 8x to speak to a manager and it was always take your name and number and they will call you back.. Its monday and im still waiting on those call backs.. They told us someone will be to clean the property they came and dropped of more blankets and pots and pan still waiting on the cleaning part that NEVER happened.. This was the WORST experience ive ever had going to the cabins and ive been going for bout 20yrs smh and with covid we should not have had to come into a dirty cabin for all the money we spent and then had to clean it ourselves... ... This was totally unacceptable

Terrible!

This cabin was a nightmare! I never received check in information. I contacted the company 2 hours prior to check in regarding this and was told if I didn’t hear anything until 30min PAST check in to contact them. When we arrived, there was a cleaning crew there who said they were cleaning the cabin for the second time and were told there were no check ins so they took their time. After finally getting in, neither hot tub worked and maintenance had to be called. 10 of the 12 rooms were supposed to have futons and only 3 did. The one bathroom didn’t have a shower liner or curtain. There is weren’t enough towels for all the guests. Cabinet doors and drawer faces were falling off. I rented this cabin for my wedding. The night of my wedding, I heard my MIL screaming to find water pouring out of the ceiling onto the main floor. Light fixtures were hanging out of the ceiling. Then we saw multiple cockroaches running across the counters. I messaged the company multiple times and it was an average of 2 hours before getting a response. Will NOT be staying here ever again.
