Outside, dive into the pool (open for the 2025 season), unwind in the gazebo, or let the kids enjoy the playhouse, swings, and trampoline. Keyless entry on the deck and front doors makes access easy. For safety, we have a Blink doorbell and cameras at all gates and doors, plus two overlooking the pool, used only in emergencies. The perfect escape for fun and relaxation!

Great Stay

Our family came down to the area for a wedding. This was a great place to stay. We had 3 families staying in this location. The pool and the indoor hot tube were a hit with the kids. The house was spacious and plenty of room.

Beautiful home, pool was amazing, very comfortable for our group. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. Our kids enjoyed the pool, the pool table and the movie theatre, as well as the multiple outside spaces to chill in. Nathan was easy to communicate with and we would definitely recommend this house for a group looking to connect and relax.

Christmas in July

We had 8 adults, 10 children. Sleeping is subpar for adult couples. The only king bed is in the basement. Outdoor play area is in unmowed area at far end of property and equipment too dirty to play on. Pool is awesome and kitchen well stocked. Wifi was good. Owner responded quickly every time. We had a great time and everyone enjoyed our family vacation.

I have never left a bed review period but for this property I had to to protect those who are looking to stay here period the place was infested with insects and other bugs period the place was very dirty when we first entered the property it looked like the people were living there and just got up and left without cleaning anything. We spent about 10,000 to stay in this place for the weekend and actually never even stayed there because the family were so disgusted we all went to go get a hotel. Again I'm only writing this bad review to protect anybody looking to stay at this place hopefully the owners or whoever manages the property could do a better job of cleaning it up for whoever wants to stay there in the future I should have read the reviews ahead of time before considering booking this place but I did not think anyone could live this terrible

Thanksgiving vacation

The property was beautiful, it was our family of 6 and the 4 kids were all 16 and up. The kids really enjoyed the air hockey and the hot tub as it was too cold to use the pool. They also really loved the 2 friendly dogs. It was a pleasant stay plenty of room for everyone.

Great neighborhood.

The property is in a great neighborhood. I loved seeing the deer in the front yard and back yard. The game options are great for kids. I really liked the Disney theme as I'm a huge Disney fan.

Amazing Property with Everything you could want and need

This was an amazing family getaway. The rooms were huge, beds were so nice and comfortable. The pool was great, looks brand new. My kids love the slides and one is even a water slide. The kids love the playground and trampoline. We enjoyed watching movies together, relaxing by the pool, playing some games and spending time together. If you’re looking for a little piece of heaven in or around Carthage check this one out. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area the host was so helpful with local recommendations. We enjoyed everything about our stay.

Oasis stay with huge pool and so much to do

This has been by far our best VRBO stay yet. Everything here was so prefect. We love swimming, layout in the tanning ledge, sliding down the slides, and enjoy the nature that was all around us. We saw a few deer while swimming one evening. This home has 6 bedrooms, 3 bath and is huge. There is a movie theater, hot tub, 2 dinning rooms, and lots of space to hangout and relax. My Mother who is a bit older was able to swim in the pool because it is handicap accessible she has not be in a pool in years. We love the quite sitting surrounded by woods. We are planning our next family reunion here next year as well. We had so much fun as a family. The rooms are huge, beds very relaxing and the outdoor as is an Oasis.

Great Property, few hitches

This is a great property with a lot of amenties. We enjoyed that aspect thoroughly. The owner was very responsive and quick to resolve issues. My only concern for future visitors, is if you have a dog allergy. This is not solely a rental property. The owners live there full time and rent it out when they are on vacation. The listing makes it looks like it is strictly a rental but it is not. They have at least one dog, and while their description does say they allow pets, other places we have stayed in that allowed pets, have cleaned up well and we've had no issues. But when a dog permenantly lives in a place, it causes major problems with allergies. We had 3 individuals allergic to dogs and all of them reacted to the pet hair around the house. Again, great property, we couldn't keep the kids out of the pool, but go into it knowing it is someone's permanent residence and they do have dogs for anyone who may be allergic to them.

1. listing does not state it is the Hosts personal home. 2. listing does not state the Hosts dogs are on the property inside the home. 3. listing states 6 bedrooms - could only locate 4 (one of which is actually a closet). 4. listing does not state that beds available would be an air mattress. 5. listing states there is a pool - there is No Pool! 6. listing does not state there are cameras inside the home… Rent with caution and be certain ALL communication with Host is in writing.

Unclear situation

We had a good time and the host was responsive, but we didn't understand until the week of that they actually live in this house full time except when they rent it out. This provided issues with their dogs, who weren't happy about being left out of the house and would scratch on the door at all times of the night to be let in. Not to mention the layer of dog hair on the furniture. The refrigerator space was very limited because of their own food in it. Also, the number of bedrooms is super misleading...two of the beds are in a closet. Other rooms are in the basement with all cement walls...like a dungeon. I don't think this is all understood by the description of the house and the pictures. In my opinion, given their family and their dogs, it's too much to try and rent out to others. I pray for the dogs sake that they have nice renters always.

Worst Lodging Experience Ever

The house was listed as a 6 BR, but only 5 were available to us. The only 1 not decorated for children & having a bed larger than a full was located in the basement-not finished, concrete, & musty. The pool was cloudy and green. The owners did come treat it the 2nd day we were there, but it didn't help & they let themselves in the back gate without even telling us they were there. Pool guys showed up the next morning at 8:30 (Memorial Day), also let themselves in the back gate & we were not aware they were coming. They were there for a scheduled installation, which had been scheduled for weeks & we weren't told prior. When we questioned the owner when we would be able to use the pool, we were told it was available and we should just deal with it. The grass in the back yard was 2 feet tall and I picked ticks of my dogs even though they have tick protection. When we tried to wash clothes, we found wet towels in the dryer and when loading the dishwasher (as per the check out instructions), we found dishes already in the dishwasher, so we had to take care of the owner's laundry and dishes as well. There was zero freezer space and zero towels in the kitchen. The owner was completely rude to us when we told him that we were upset that our privacy was disrupted and we did not want to swim in a green pool. We left a day early since we could not use the pool & had no privacy. We requested at least a partial refund. The owner has ignored all messages since we left.

Rent at your own risk, ask many questions, keep all communication

Rented due to wedding in nearby town, spent minimal time there as we helped with wedding prep and cleanup. Rooms in basement were musty (no windows) asked owner if there was an air purifier, he said no and no one ever has complained. For those sleeping on couch in livingroom, about midnight, dogs started scraping at the dog door, whining, and barking as they wanted in the house (they are really house dogs and it was a bit cold outside, mid-Sept). This occurred most of night. Left owner message asking for him to come get dogs, again he said no one has ever complained and he was out of town so couldn't do anything. Dogs run freely on the property. Garage door remains open and he has food and water there. Dog did nip at one of the elderly people staying and owner didn't respond to that message. Last night, dogs started again at midnight, scraping door, barking, and whining and after loud bang, they were running through the house and upstairs, we thought someone broke in. Spoke with owner after stay, shared recording of dogs, sent review from customer that mentioned dogs barking, which is why I asked many questions about them and was told they had their own space. When asked for a partial refund was told I didn't leave so I wasn't that unhappy (there was no time to find another place), no one has ever complained, and I couldn't stay for cheaper. He also tried to tell me he offered to board dogs, which he didn't. Rent at your own risk.
