We went to gatlinburg for a long weekend. Home was conveniently located by town center. Was up a large hill as advertised. Home had everything we needed and was clean. Could use new towels
Our stay at Hey Bear cabin was truly one to remember! From the views, to the visiting bears, and overall our whole experience was 5star! The cabin was amazing, and more than we could have asked for. I thank you soo much for hosting us, and canât wait to plan another trip!
This cabin was the perfect retreat for me and my partner during our weekend getaway. It was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The only small note Iâd mention is that we occasionally heard what sounded like birds nesting in the master bedroom wall. It might just be from the surrounding vegetation, but it could be worth checking out just in case. Overall, though, we had a wonderful stay!
The plumbing leaked all of the games were not play able pans were dirty as well as the deck furniture no flipper in the kitchen bed was comfy and clean and so were the towels hot tub was nice
While the property and location were ideal. The house had not been cleaned thoroughly. Dust build up, dead bugs in blankets, and even Christmas decorations still out. There was what appeared to be a small water leak that dripped down to the guest bathroom. Weeds had over grown onto the steps up into the property. Most of the games either didnât work properly or were missing pieces. Overall, not a bad experience, but it left a little to be desired.
Had a wonderful experience for our first cabin trip. Place was super clean and so comfortable and cozy. Host was very easy to get in touch with and super accommodating. Definitely planing to go back to Hey Bear Cabin.
The view was absolutely stunning and the best spot to get a break from life. Only regret is not staying longer and bringing more food to cook so we didnât have to leave the cabin. Only disclaimer is for folks who arenât used to driving up the mountain (Northern Indiana native who lives on flat land) if you are faint of heart driving up a literal MOUNTAIN at night is pretty stressful. Make sure you arrive during daylight hours and you are comfortable driving without guard rails by the road. Otherwise, 11/10 experience and looking forward to our next trip here!

Review
The home is clean but lacks sufficient lighting at night, and the stairs are quite steep. They can be slippery when wet, so it is recommended to add traction tape for safety. The driveway is poorly lit, which made it challenging to locate the home during nighttime visits. While the hot tub is nice, the keypad on its door does not illuminate, making it difficult to see and operate at night. You need to tap it just right for it to work properly.
This cabin was absolutely wonderful! So much so even my husband complemented me multiple times on what a great booking I selected. The hot tub was so relaxing after each days hike through the Smokies. We even got to see two black bear encounters on the property! This place is perfect for couples looking to have a quiet relaxing get away!!
This was a nice secluded place to stay, check in/out was easy. The cabin is well arranged and decorated. I will say the walls need a good dusting but over all it was clean. We did bring our dog and the grass area was a bit smaller than I expected but it was enough. We enjoyed our stay and would do so again!
Hey Bear Cabin is amazing! On rainy days when we couldnât go into town, this place was perfect for just relaxing and enjoying the day inside. Definitely hope to stay here again on our next visit.
Loved staying here. This cabin was so cozy and had nice homely touches. The view was amazing. It was an easy drive into Gatlinburg. We would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here for a week! It was absolutely perfect! Checking in was so easy. It was close to everything we wanted to do and was the perfect place to just stay in and relax for a few days! We would absolutely go back!
Very easy check in process and the host was very communicative! Very romantic and fun place to book for a weekend getaway! Only complaint was that it wasnât very clean upon our arrival and the hot tub had a lot of dirt in it! Other than that it was great and definitely recommend!
