Lake Superior Waterfront Home with Wood Fired Sauna and Igloo

Welcome to the cozy Beaver Beach House. Enjoy endless blue water views and the spectacular sunrises in this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin seated steps from the water of Lake Superior on the Au Train Bay. Relax in a wood fired sauna or in the igloo on the beach. Seconds from the Au Train Bay boat launch, salmon and trout fishing is fantastic. ATV and snowmobile trails are across the street. Au Train Beach is within minutes walking distance. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, numerous waterfalls and endless hikes are moments away. The cabin is situated 30 minutes from Marquette and 13 minutes from Munising. There is a bonfire pit with chairs overlooking the lake. Guests must supply their own fire wood. Spend your nights on the porch listening to the waves and watching the Northern Michigan stars. It’s truly a spectacular cabin to relax in and call home for a while! We use Happy Guest property management for rental agreements and liability coverages. They handle all communication after booking.

We loved our stay at Beaver Beach House. It was close to everything in Munising and we spent time chasing waterfalls and did a boat tour with Grand Island Boat Rentals. The beach at the house was very rocky with no sand so it was hard to walk but my two year old still had a blast throwing rocks in the water and rock combing. The home was very clean and the owners were so personable and responded extremely quickly. We did have two mice inside, that we got out, and owners called pest maintenance. It was a great location and an overall relaxing stay!

Perfect location for snowmobiling

The Beaver beach house was the perfect location and set up for our March snowmobile trip. The house was clean and the sauna and views of Lake Superior were amazing. Look forward to returning.

Loved it, great location, near to all of the "attractions" we wanted to see

Loved this house, rockhounding in private, a great restaurant across the street and the we were able to see everything we planned to see and all within an hour drive max :)

This place is beautiful even more than the pictures. It has everything you need. We had 8 adults a toddler and a dog here with no issues. Steps away from Lake Superior and a Sauna. The house is fully equipped. We will definitely be coming back!

Great location with a beautiful view!

We had a wonderful time exploring all the area has to offer. The view was beautiful and accommodations were amazing. Plenty of room for friends and family to relax, play cards and have a bonfire. The hosts were easy to connect with and more than accommodating, this was a great experience and we will definitely stay again.

Clean and great location!

It was such a perfect location for what we had planned and SO clean! The water view was also gorgeous. The road can be a little loud with trucks driving by but when the windows are closed you can hardly hear them.

Amazing view

Loved our stay. Plenty of sleeping space. Fully equipped kitchen. Rocky beach but amazing view and sauna was perfect! Just a few minutes walk to beachy access. Restaurant across the street was ok. We think we picked the wrong things. Would definately go back for summer vibes with friends.

Overall, our stay was quite good, but there were a few issues with the property that need to be addressed. First is the well water - they did tell us that they recently had a new well, but the amount of sediment made it difficult to do things we expected such as give our kids a bath or use the water from the sink to cook pasta. There were also some clearly unfinished projects or repairs needed - trim falling down, vinyl floor coming up in places, ceiling tile on lower level removed.The location is perfect for hiking and sightseeing, but the house is very close to a main road. Car noise inhibited the enjoyment of the lakeside solitude. The sauna, views (even saw a bald eagle from the porch), and lakeside area were marvelous but some drawbacks for sure.

Cole, Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate constructive feedback to help us improve guest experience. As you know in the days prior to your stay we unexpectedly had to drill a brand new well. As a result the water had a higher iron content than what we previously had which is very common for the area. In the week following your stay we have a company installing a 6k treatment system to ensure the water comes out crystal clear. Kyle

More like the ocean than a lake!

Breathtaking views!! Very peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the lake! At night the waves could be heard crashing on the rocks outside the windows! Cabin was clean and well stocked with amenities. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We were a family of four and the accommodations were wonderful. Excellent communication for our arrival, a thoroughly clean & tidy space, an extremely helpful desk with local information, well-equipped kitchen, very good wi-fi, comfortable beds, and—you’ve seen the pics—an unbeatable lake view. Plus, in a really convenient location between the Marquette area and Picture Rocks. Would book this again in a second!

A gem !

This property was perfect for a family trip ! We love Lake Superior and this cabin is a gem we seen spectacular sunrises. Great location and family ready for all ages. We will return. The Beavers were excellent hosts.

Beautiful lakefront property

We enjoyed a peaceful stay on the shores of Lake Superior. Several outdoor chairs are available for relaxing on the beach. There is a nice restaurant just a short walk down the street. The only thing lacking is onsite laundry facilities.

Beautiful Views!!

We traveled to the area to hike in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. The view from the house was beautiful, Kyle and Kayla were very easy to work with. The place is newly renovated and in a good location to get food in Munising. Our kids loved the sandbar out from the cottage to swim.

Beautiful lakefront home

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. It was so peaceful listening to the water lapping at the shore. My son played by the water for hours. I enjoyed reading in the hammock. The house had everything we needed for our stay. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. Great location for exploring the UP parks. Would highly recommend this home and would happily stay here again!

Great Lake Superior Frontage Home

We enjoyed our stay right on Lake Superior! The house was plenty big enough for our family and just as described. It is rocky, but that is clear in the photos, so we took full advantage of rock hunting with our kiddos. Our only complaint would be road noise, but the waves do their best to drown that out!

First time to the U P

We had a very enjoyable visit to the Upper Peninsula. Beautiful view from the cabin on Lake Superior. This was a good mid-point for our family to meet, coming from east, west and gulf coasts. The color of the water and the Pictured Rocks were prettier than expected.

Awesome place!!!

We had a party of 10 for our trip. Adults, teens, kids and an infant. This place was great. Had everything we needed and more. Gorgeous view of the lake from several rooms. The property managers were easy to communicate with and there were plenty of thoughtful things throughout the home. We will be definitely return if in the area again.

Girl's Weekend

There were 10 of us and each and every one of us are already planning dates to book next year for another girl's weekend!!! We loved everything about the Beaver Beach House and the hosts were absolutely amazing to communicate with and responded timely to any questions we had.
