Cozy and inviting, you will love the farm house style of this stunning abode. From the stainless steel appliances to the complimentary coffee bar, youâll feel right at home. And that's before we talk about the bedrooms â Did we mention they have luxuriously thick memory foam mattresses? Plus, thereâs also a work station area and even a kids playroom/toddler room for your little ones to enjoy. As well as RV parking. The private kitchen can also be used as an office. Don't let this amazing opportunity pass you by!!!
The place was perfect! It was in a quiet neighborhood and very clean. The host got back to us immediately if we needed anything! I would definitely recommend this place!
If you need a quiet, clean, spacious place to stay in Bakersfield, this is it. Martha was an excellent host and we enjoyed our long weekend in town. Would definitely stay again next time weâre in Bakersfield!
This is a really nice house for large family. The kitchen is huge and well equipped. Its a big house! The neighborhood is also nice. Quiet, the road its on has no through traffic. The host also communicated well and was very nice. Thank You.
I messaged the owner prior to stay letting her know I was traveling with two handicapped persons & needed to know if there was a step into the home and if the bathroom showers could handle a transfer shower bench and ease of accessing toilets. She assured me the entry was "FLAT" and the bathrooms could accommodate us. Well there is a 5 inch step into the house! I had to use the garage which was 3 inch step & lift my mother & spouse into a narrow utility room to get them into the house. The bathrooms will not accommodate a transfer bench & there is no way anyone using a walker could access either toilet!
CONS: host didnât know code to enter home or wifi password, side door left unlocked (also a PRO since host did not know how to unlock front door), outside areas filthy, master toilet not affixed to ground, master water closet smells like urine, master bath blinds stuck open, master bath fan screeches, lots of sloppy DIYs, host language barrier, whole house smelled bad (first thing we did was get air fresheners from our car), toilets difficult to flush, master mattress is rock hard and bed frames held together with door hinges (??).
PROS: good neighborhood/area (this is my home town), kitchen well stocked with cooking tools, bedding and towels were clean, open concept made for ease of access for wheelchair.
I will not stay with this host again, she had zero info on the property.
