Welcome to Port Sanilac Michigan & Happy Harbor! As you enter the house your first word will be “WOW”. We spent 5 months completely remodeling this house. Regardless of how nice your home is this will live up to your standards. The craftsmanship of the improvements from the tile work, to the extensive shiplap, to the decorations. You will fall in love with this home and the downtown! Take the golf cart out to explore the downtown or relax in the hot tub! (please note: golf cart available mid-april through Nov 1st)

Dogs are welcome with an arrangement upon booking! They must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outside, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. You must request permission BEFORE making your reservation to bring your dog(s). There is an extra fee to bring your pets.

It's in a quiet neighborhood, 3 blocks from downtown Port Sanilac.

Downtown is within walking distance, however, there is an 8-seater golf cart there for our guests to utilize! No extra charge

- Dog(s) are allowed but you must get permission first before you rent this cottage. The dog(s) must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outside, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. Please sweep up/vacuum dog hair and dispose of prior to your departure. There is an additional fee to bring your dog(s).
HOUSE RULES:

- No more than 3 cars on site
- Do NOT park on road or in neighbors' way!
- All furniture must be put back where it is found!
- No Shoes on while inside the home
- Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM
- Dog(s) must stay off of the furniture, on a leash when outside, feces picked up and treated for the prevention of fleas and ticks. Please sweep up/vacuum dog hair and dispose of prior to your departure. There is an additional fee to bring your dog(s).
- Please respect our neighbors by not having loud music or by yelling and using profanity (many are permanent residents!)
- Garbage must be bagged up, put into trash bins at the end of the drive way at departure.
- You must be 25 or older to rent this cottage
- Please note: RVs, tents, and campers are not permitted at our homes. Failure to comply will result in applicable fees.

Week day get away

Enjoyed are stay very much. Wish we had more time to explore. Only negative things I could think of was no ice or ice trays and no tv in master bedroom. On the positive side the master bedroom bed was great, slept very good and the hot tub was great. Didn’t get to use the golf cart was to cold. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

A pleasant-ish stay

It was a great property. We ran into a few issues due to the snow storm but other than that. The hot tub was great and the arcade machine was a lot of fun. Overall a good experience and the area is not the greatest for anyone as a minority. My significant other had some uncomfortable looks and conversations due to that. My only gripe with the location.was this and it had nothing to do with the property just the city.

Great Stay!

The location is perfect—just a short distance from town. The hot tub was amazing. While we didn’t get to use the golf cart due to the weather, I’d imagine it’s a great perk in warmer months!We had dinner at Stone Lodge down the road, and the food was good. We also stopped by Alli Bar for a drink, which was a really cool, eclectic spot.My only MINOR concern was that the house could use a more thorough cleaning. While everything was clean on the surface, I noticed some gum under the table, a bit of debris under the couch, and the window sills could use some dusting. Other than that, everything was great! :)

Nice place but not clean

The house was cute and close to the lake. The hot tub was great. Beds are comfortable . Wifi adequate.The bummer was that it was not cleaned very well and not stocked with basics ( like measuring cups, foil or plastic wrap or enough toilet paper for the entire stay) We had to clean out the fridge before we could put food away in it, rewash quite a few dishes as there was food on them still ( even though they were put away in the cupboard as if they were clean). The dishwasher smelled like something died in there so I cleaned it thoroughly, removing candy wrappers and chunks of food in the drain. There was a full dryer of linens that smelled so moldy I had to rewash them. On top of that the fridge would randomly start beeping even though the door was closed.. We believe the sensor was broken.. we did let owner know who quickly rained they were looking into it. I am not OCD with cleaning, just expect a bit more especially for such a steep cleaning fee.

Perfect Getaway

We used this space for a reunion of some friends. It was cozy for a quick getaway. The area was quite yet conveniently located near town. We'll for sure utilize this space again in the future.

Great weekend getaway

The house was perfect for our short girls weekend trip. Plenty of beds and very clean. We had a little trouble with the hot tub but the host was quick to answer our messages. Close to the beach and marina and great coffee place on the corner. It had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this property.

Stargazers Paradise

We had an amazing stay! We soaked in the hot tub and watched the northern lights, meteor showers, and vivid night sky. There was little to no light pollution, and everything was gorgeous!

Wonderful family vacation

This was a fantastic house close to downtown. Our extended family enjoyed playing cards and the Pac-Man machine as well as socializing in the spacious living area. We enjoyed the hot tub each day and the golf cart was great for quickly getting to dining, pickleball, and the harbor. The house was well-provisioned. And Jessie was great with communication. We would definitely return to this vacation house!

Beautiful little home

My daughters and I decided last minute to take a little break for my youngest daughters and I's birthday. They chose this cute little home and it was cute and simply beautiful. We didnt get a chance to use the golf cart, but utilized the hottub while we were there. Note than pleased with the size of the place and the quite neighborhood. Highly rate this place in this cute little town. Thank you!

Family get-away

The house was very clean and it was so beautifully decorated for the holidays. It was just the right size for our family and we loved the hot tub in the back. It was clean and set it just the right temperature. We loved being close to town. Not to mention everything was with in walking distance. But the bonus was having the golf cart. We enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come again.

A beautiful experience

The house was gorgeous and beautiful, the perfect amount of space for our group to relax and play. The golf cart was perfect for taking into town to pick up pizza and other necessary supplies and the hot tub was a great way to wind down at the end of the day!

Family time in Port Sanilac

Location was perfect, house looked like and had everything that was in the pics and listing. Had great fires in the back yard, that was great, hottub was great. The only issue was the grille, it was in really bad shape and we couldnt use it. And we had all the meat and fixings for a great bar-b-que, so that was a bummer. But the host apoligized for its condition, he probably had no idea, the cleaning crew i guess. Other than that it was perfect.

Updated and Clean Place

Stayed here for a couple summer nights with the family and we were all pleasantly surprised upon walking into the house. The hot tub and golf cart were added value for the kids, we would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing

We enjoyed our stay and will stay again. Loved the golf cart, we couldn't get hot tub to work for the first night. When we did we couldn't use it because of to many chemicals. Other than the hot tub everything was fabulous. We will stay again. Love the area. Thank you

We have been hosting family vacations for years. Originally started off as renting our Lake Home out to offset costs quickly turned into something bigger. Now with three homes that we rent our number one goal is to ensure that you have a wonderful time while you relax and reconnect with friends and family.

This property was the perfect next project as it has everything a vacation home may need. Its right in downtown so you can easily visit the shops and places to eat. Near Lake Huron and by a wonderful marina in downtown port sanilac.

Happy Harbor has a ton of unique benefits that you wont see in many other homes in the area. WIth a golf cart, hot tub and rainfall shower head this cottage is the definition of luxury.
