Condo was great. View from the balcony was awesome. Slight issue with door latch but a quick text to Southern and maintenance was there within the hour to address it. We locked in this same condo for our stay next year. Would highly recommend.

Had a decent view of the gulf and at the back of the property (short walk) was the beautiful bay as well. Condo was clean. Really enjoyed our stay

Great View and Clean

The room was clean (not modern), but the location was great and as advertised. The check-in process is a little extra, e.g., a picture of myself holding my driver's license and a photo of a bill with my address. But overall, it was a great stay!

Extended stay with dogs

My husband and I are exploring beach locations for extended snowbird stays and travel with our 2 small older dogs. This was very enjoyable fall stay with beautiful weather and low crowds down on the west end away from the high rises with a great view just across the street from the beach. The unit was roomy, clean and comfortable and had what we needed. Would definitely return if going back to the area.

Sea Oats GulfShores

Very unique property. Good view from bedrooms, living room, and balcony. Has 2 large swimming pools in complex. Bonus was walkout dock on back of property with access to bay for fishing and viewing fabulous sunsets! Only downside for our age group (70+) was stairs to our unit on 2nd floor.

We will be back!

The unit was great && had everything we needed. I’m glad we got one with a view of the beach! One morning we woke up && saw dolphins while we sat on the balcony. My son loved the pool. The property was quiet. I never heard noises from other guests. We enjoyed our time so much that we stayed an extra night.

Rental unit

The place had problems with the showers. We were unable to use them. They moved us to another unit which was beautiful, and we enjoyed the rest our stay.

CEILING FAN DISASTER!

The property was VERY rundown! The ceiling fan in the second bedroom fell from the ceiling on our final morning at 5:00am! Missed our puppy by inches!!! We had to finish packing in the dark! The second bath had black tape holding the soap dish in the shower to the wall. The primary bath tub took forever to drain. Kitchen rug was extremely filthy and full of sand. Southern Vacation Rentals (the property manager) is a "Premier Host"????? I've trusted VRBO many times before, but will never rent from a "Premier Host" again. You can only trust real owners who rent their homes directly to you. I should have known better when there were no reviews of the property. Why don't "Premier Hosts" have rental reviews??? That's very misleading to renters!!!! Hope you post this one!!!

Great place, great location (literally steps to the beach)! Close enough to all the action in Gulf Shores, but far enough out that its much slower/quieter. Great view of the ocean/beach from literally every window in the house. Pools were nice (a little chili, but so is the ocean in March), as was the covered parking spot. Great access to the bay! Great views there as well. Only regret was not bringing a fishing pole, as would have been fun to try out in both the ocean and bay. Will absolutely be back to this place next year. Thanks again Southern!
