Great Lake Erie Vacation Spot

We stayed here for an extended Fourth of July weekend and had the best time! Super clean, and Judy was so easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay!

This property was very nice, just as the pictures show! The fire pit was the favorite spot for everyone to gather at the end of the day. The huge kitchen was very nice to have while everyone stood around waiting for dinner. Judy was very responsive when messaging and asking questions, 10/10!

The property is fully updated, clean, and very spacious. The property owner communicates everything so well and the whole process was a breeze. It is also very close to downtown Port Clinton and the Jet Express!

Immaculate!

Lovely home in a quiet residential neighborhood. Very clean and had everything we needed. Just a minute or two walk to the beach. Short drive to island ferries. Highly recommend.

Home away from home

The lake house was neat, clean and nicely decorated. It was a homey feeling. Loved the front porch swing. Great location to many fun places and restaurants. Judy was very helpful and available. Had a great time! Thank you 😊

Fantastic weekend retreat

We rented this house for the weekend. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was convenient to food and activities. The front porch swing was so nice to sit in and relax. The owner is very responsive to questions and let us check in early. She has all the local menus in the binder which made dinner selection a breeze. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation.

Would be nice if bedroom downstairs had a mirror. 6 people at house- need more than 1 extra roll of TP. Very comfortable, clean and cute place. Loved screened in porch.

A cute home close to Cedar Point, Catawba, and the islands! Our family enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and how clean everything was! Decor was spot on! Very nicely done!

Meticulously Maintain Property

We absolutely loved this cottage!!! The décor was something right out of HGTV. The kitchen had everything we needed including Alexa for music!! All Cabinets and drawers were neatly labeled for ease of navigating the kitchen. There was plenty of seating in the kitchen for everyone. The beds were decently comfortable but in my opinion could have a few extra pillows. She did have a lots of extra blankets which I deeply appreciated. We enjoyed having coffee on the adorable porch in the mornings. You can easily walk to the beach or jet express (0.9miles/17 min). I would definitely stay here again!!!

Stunning the minute we walked in! Spotless. Beautifully decorated and comfortable! All the amenities you want and extras. Gracious host and wonderful back yard with chairs and firepit. One of our favorite features.

Port Clinton stay

A beautiful andwell-kept property, this home had been extremely updated and was clean as a whistle. We loved the porch and updated kitchen as well as the bedrooms, which all offered excellent and comfortable beds. Bathrooms were newly updated and included spa quality towels and bathroom needs. Our only disappointment was that Port Clinton's beaches were dirty and not well kept (encountered 12 dead fish on the beach in a short walk down to the lighthouse). We also noticed that the Port Clinton area as a whole had little to offer and seemed to be struggling economically - sidewalks were all broken and heaved and there were many businesses and buildings which were still standing but needed to be condemned. On the brighter side, the nearby communities of Lakeside Chataqua, Catawba Island and Put in Bay were charming and offered a lot to do during our visit to the area.

Son’s wedding weekend

We had a great time celebrating my sons wedding. The house was in the perfect location to travel between Port Clinton and Catawba Island. Very close to the jet express to travel to Put In Bay. Bassets grocery (sells boars head) was 2 min away. Bedroom upstairs has a king size bed and private bath (window unit keeps the room very cool during hot weather). Front porch is a relaxing spot on the swing. Easy check in and talked to host prior to arrival to ask many questions and was very responsive and helpful. Will stay here again.

Family gathering

This cottage is charming and lovely, and in a great location to enjoy the nearby attractions. The kitchen was very well equipped, and the sun porch with it's swing was enjoyed during morning coffee and evening sunsets. We used the fire pit for s'mores and chatting, and found the beds comfortable at the end of the day. Our only (mild) disappointment was in the fact that there are 2 bathrooms, not 3, but it did not negatively affect our stay.

Leslie's Beach House

The house was very clean and nicely decorated. We loved the neighborhood. The house had everything we needed. We actually packed too much not knowing what to expect. The location was great. We enjoyed walking to lake and sitting around the firepit. My family and I would definitely consider it in the future.

A few steps from lakeside

This property was amazing. It was a few steps for the lake and the porch was quiet and peaceful. The backyard fire pit was wonderful for cookouts and s'mores. Kitchen was well equipped for some light cooking. The entire house was beautifully decorated and we would happily stay again. It was also within walking distance from downtown and some local eats.

Fabulous stay!

This was our first time in the Port Clinton area, close to everything we wanted to see and do. It had a quaint feel ,nice decor, beach view and upgraded accommodations. Beautiful place to be,we loved it. Will be back again! Ty so much to the host who was quick to reply and attentive. Ty for everything 🏖🍷🏊‍♂️🎉❤!

Charming weekend retreat

Our family rented this home for the weekend, and it was just perfect for our needs. The beach and playground within walking distance were a huge win for our toddler! Cute little fire pit outback, that I wished we had the time to use. We went to Cedar Point for a full day of our stay, and the house is close enough that it was convenient for the older adults and the kids to head back when they got tired. Much more comfy than a hotel experience 🙂 Host was very accommodating with lots of thoughtful touches. Just an FYI for renters, the King master is very nice upstairs, but the stairs are quite steep as it is an older (but beautifully updated) home. We had to put my parents in the queen on main level due to the stairs (mom with a bad hip), which wasn't a big deal to us or them. Just something to be aware of. We would definitely stay again!
