Bella Luna is a fantastic 7-bedroom, 4-bathroom vacation home with a private saltwater pool, located just yards from the ocean on the sought after South end of Litchfield Beach. Designed with comfort and convenience in mind, this spacious retreat is perfect for extended families or multiple groups looking to enjoy a shared beach vacation while still maintaining some privacy.

Upstairs, the home features an open concept living and dining area with soaring ceilings and abundant natural light, creating a bright and inviting space to relax and gather. The fully equipped kitchen includes full size appliances and a coffee maker, making mealtime a breeze. Bedding on this level includes three King bedrooms and two sets of bunk beds (four Twins total). The ground floor level offers its own open living space, a second large kitchen, three Queen bedrooms, and two full bathrooms, ideal for giving guests their own space. Please note there are private exterior entrances for each level and no interior connecting stairs, which adds privacy and flexibility for groups traveling together.

Fantastic Family Vacation

We visited for a Labor Day trip with our close family friends and had a great time. The location was fantastic, there was plenty of parking, the beds were comfortable, and the management company provided an immediate response to our communication prior to, and during our stay. There were plenty of conversation spaces with ample seating both inside and outside the house.

Perfect place for various activities

Due to various ages of our family, varied activities are important. We rented bikes separately, but everything else was available at this rental- kayaks, boogie boards, ping pong, swimming pool and a very short walk to the beach. Also, important to us, was the walk in first floor for our elderly parents. And with two fully functioning kitchens on each floor, it was ideal. We loved this space and would definitely rent it again!

Some good; some not so good

Proximity to beach - very good. House pool - very good. Very clean, except for shower in pool area. Living and bedrooms fine, but shared bathrooms inadequate for large group. Two kitchens were a plus, as were the rear decks. A number items in need of repair and the property is in need of some updating. We had a number of electrical issues.

Awesome Family Beach House

We loved Lighthouse Watch! Perfect little beach house that could actually be two. We didn't realize was that the top part of the house is not connected to the bottom part. Meaning - you have to go outside to get up to the top or bottom level. It is kind of like having two separate condos all in one house. That was kind of nice for the teenagers in our crew but may not be ideal for some. Otherwise it had everything we needed and it was in a great location. Our family had a wonderful trip. :)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week with our daughter from New Orleans, her husband and family and our son, his wife and family. While it would have been nice to have a little larger bathrooms, we managed fine. The kitchen is well stocked, the porch and deck furniture are very nice, the interior furniture is adequate, and the pool is a nice plus. We had a couple of small issues after arriving and TideLife took care of them very quickly. The only real problem for us was that there is no interior stairway. Since we had some older teens, we felt ok about kids staying downstairs. In fact, they enjoyed having their own space.We didn’t go on the beach at the closest place to Bella Luna. We had family farther down the beach, and joined them there. It’s a pretty short walk to the beach from the house, however. Having a golf cart available to rent on site was a nice feature. This is a good family house and I would recommend it and TideLife Realty. nice

Great location, but not the cleanest place

We loved the location of this property and the communication between the rental company was great! It was the perfect size for our multi-family trip. It was convenient to the beach, and renting golf carts made lugging our beach stuff much easier. The view from the top deck was beautiful and was a great place for the adults when the kids went to bed. The upstairs dishwasher did not work the entire week we were there, and the floor in front of it ended up creating a tripping hazard. The house was very dirty, baseboards, blinds, under couch/dressers, and just generally dusty. We were refunded our cleaning fee and the rental company was apologetic. We were unable to use the pool two of the days due to it turning green, despite having the pool company come out to fix it. Overall we liked the location and the size of the house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location to the Beach was most convenient without being on the beach. Convenient to grocery stores and restaurants excellent. Having the pool was fantastic when it was too windy and surf too rough on the beach. Kitchen upstairs, which I personally used, was roomy for all the cooking we did most days but I did bring everything I needed just to make sure we had what we needed and to know it was clean. It did appear this house had a lot of kitchen gadgets, cookwear and dishes. The refrigerator when we arrived was the cleanest I've ever seen in a rental. Bathrooms were small and dated. Beds comfortable. Overall a clean home but I do wish more attention/mopping could be done on floors in between retals. We had a small issue that maintenance handled quickly and to our satisfaction. 17 year old grandson loved the Widow Watch, used it as his private space at night. We will consider renting here again because it is pet friendly, roomy for our 2 families, one set up and one set downstairs and easy to deal with rental company.

Bella Luna Family Vacation 2024

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at Bella Luna, last summer and this summer. There was very noticeable differences in the kitchen and pool area. The kitchen had been cleaned up, cabinets/drawers cleaned out, not as junky as last year. We do a lot of cooking during our week stay. I do bring the items I know I have to have so while I don't use many of the items in the kitchen, we did want to use the eating utensils. Unfortunately, there were only 5 forks for our 6/8 people. Overall the home was clean and suitable for our needs. Maybe the next improvement could be the cushions on the front porch. The pool area was cleaned out from what we experienced last year. The outside shower is a nice amenity. Again the teenage boys enjoyed the widow watch. We had no issues this year with our stay and accommodations. We did trip the electrical outlet left of the sink but because we knew from last year where the breaker was, we got it working again. This reminded us we had to use the outlet at the mirrored bar if we had anything else going, like the microwave or dishwasher. This company is great to deal with, friendly and alert to concerns or issues. The location of this house is perfect for walk to beach and short drive to many grocery stores.

Lighthouse Watch Review

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year in this rental. Rental agency changed this year. Price went up and my experience went down. When we arrived on Sunday, the pool was dirty. If rental period is Sunday to Sunday, pool should be cleaned Sunday mornings. I reported a broken window in a downstairs bathroom on Monday and reminded rental agency several times. No screen in the window allowed bugs to come in. Never fixed during our stay. Wondering if the window was cleaned before we came, why wasn’t the break noticed? No return calls from my messages left with rental agency. Had to call twice to get help for a breaker that was tripped. TV remotes did not work for some of the TVs. Batteries out in backwards. Fortunately any time spent with my family is a good time. Not sure if we will use this rental agency again or not. The new owners did make some upgrades with floors and decking. Still love Pawley’s Island!
