La tortue verte I est une péniche flottante qui dispose de 2 suites séparées pouvant accueillir 2 personnes dans chaque suite. Situé dans le port historique de Boston, dans une marina sécurisée et sécurisée, le Green Turtle I est le choix idéal pour votre visite.

Nous sommes à une courte distance de North End, de Fanueil Hall et du Boston Common. Il est facile de se déplacer à pied, en ferry, en navette gratuite, en Uber ou en taxi. Attrapez la ligne verte pour assister à un match à Fabulous Fenway.

Chaque suite dispose d'une kitchenette et d'une salle de bains privative. La tortue verte a été conçu pour le confort avant tout et le seul souvenir de votre flottant dans le port de Boston est le son des mouettes, le mouvement de la mer et de la réflexion de la danse de l'océan sur le plafond.
Détendez-vous allongé sur nos chaises de ponton ou sirotez un café gastronomique dans le confort d'un fauteuil en rotin bien placé.

This is a unique setting from which to explore Boston, based in a marina in a peaceful area. There are easy links to the main sites in Boston, using ferry, free bus and taxis. There is a well stocked and recently opened general store nearby. Everything was well managed for us, with breakfast and linen changes provided ( we were visiting for two weeks), and arrival arrangements were straightforward. Jon provided advice on local restaurants, many within walkable distance, and Sherrie was available on site and via text. We were well looked after!

Brittany came to let us in and show us around. She was a wealth of information on how to get around (the free shuttle is a block away). And where to eat and how to get to various sights. Her input turned out to be invaluable. The two unit houseboat is rustic and charming. We found it to be comfortable and it came with three days worth of pastries, so there’s that.

Great time, fun location, easy process

This was a great overnight surprise stay for my wife. The boat was clean and cost and had everything you need for a easy stay in Charlestown and walking distance to Boston. Jon was super friendly and the check in/out process was very easy. Would stay again for sure.

Perfect Boston Getaway location

This was such a fun way to see Boston! The house boat was cute, clean, and had everything you need. It felt very safe and secure. It was located close to the ferry, restaurants, and other forms of transportation. Jon was such an attentive host and gave great recommendations. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our host Jon greeted us at the dock and was so helpful in getting us settled in. He had numerous tips on low cost or free transportation and all the best insider info on places to eat the best food without tourist prices. A perfect getaway place to stay for couples and so peaceful. We will be back!

Anniversary in Boston

We loved celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary as the guests of Jon and Karen at the Green Turtle. They immediately made us feel welcome and gave us all the inside information we needed to spend a wonderful five days in Boston. The location was great. Outside of the hustle and bustle, but just a relatively short walk to historic Boston, which we did a couple of times, or an even quicker Uber. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and hope to return.

A little slice of heaven

We had a wonderful time staying on the water. Jon welcomed us even though our flight was 3 hours delayed due to severe weather in Boston. We were to thankful to arrive and find homemade banana bread, waters and other snacks. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. Thank you Jon! We really enjoyed our time there!

Boston and Basketball

Great location for everything- we walked to Bunker Hill and TD garden for NCAA basketball tournament games. Took convenient ferry to sightseeing spots. Walked to USS Constitution and used free shuttle to get to North End. Clean safe dock area and neighborhood Hosts were great and very informative their recommendations were spot on. Enjoyed our 4 day stay despite some pretty raw cold rainy weather

Rock me to sleep

We enjoyed our time at the Green Turtle. We had everything we needed and then a gentle rocking to sleep on the waves. I wish we could see through the amazing yacht that was parked next to us. The view would’ve been amazing. Nonetheless we’d come back again. Central to all the life of the city, but relaxing and calm among the hustle and bustle. Great hostess. Thank you, Brittany.

Unique Experience

We enjoyed all the comforts of home right down to the delicious muffins and fridge stocked with choices of juices, etc. Our host Jon was so informative and friendly, it added to the enjoyment of our houseboat experience. Something to check off of your bucket list.

Property is great location and property owners/managers responded quickly and promptly. It met all our needs. While sitting outside was nice the view was partially blocked due to a large yacht in front of the sitting area. We adjusted our chairs a bit but were surprised by the view being blocked. I would still recommend this place but advise the view could be partially blocked.

Harbor oasis in the city

If you are looking for a unique way to enjoy Boston Harbor, a stay at the Green Turtle 1 Houseboat is perfect. This is an oasis, in the city but out of doors, relaxing, and private. The two suites are separated by a shared entry hallway, each with their own door from the hall. The Green Turtle is adorable. Karen and Jon are warmly welcoming. They have thought of each detail of information or thing you might want and need during your stay. We had the space, comforts, and amenities of any hotel. From the Green Turtle, you can spend your evening in the sparkle of city lights on the water while walking the docks to and from your ventures out, or spend it right there on the dock in front the Turtle. Then you wake to enjoying your coffee on the dock in the beauty of a morning on the water with the quiet bustle of boats and birds preparing for the day.
